I have a 300se. Have 13/52 gearing. I think you would find you could ride most of that in second and occasionally third with that gearing. It takes longer than expected for the suspension to bed in. I did eventually got the mid valve softened slightly on the fork. Sure you can do all the shims but it seems to do the trick. Also had the shock served at 100 hours the suspension guy installed a Ktech low friction band. Mint. While the suspension is standard you should hit some faster trails. You might surprise yourself how fast you are willing to go. I find it so confidence-inspiring.
Take 10-20 mil of oil out of each fork. Makes a big difference in how stiff the forks are. You don’t need to disassemble the forks to do it. Just remove the forks from the triple clamps, remove the air release screw on the top of the fork, and slowly compress the fork until the desired amount of oil is removed. Reinstall the air screw and the fork and your ready to go. Poor man’s revalve, costs nothing and you can add the oil back in with a hypodermic needle if you don’t like it. I removed 20 mil from my 22 300 and now love the forks on single track. Still plenty of bottoming resistance, just plusher on the small stuff and midstroke.
Only sherco I've ever seen personally was a Trials bike. Trials is big here in my part of NY state. We have a competition every year on Bates rd Medina Ny
Me too, I love jumping logs uphill on the ole TTR110, it's my deer path bike, with slightly oversized wider tires and slightly lower gearing is a wonder to ride. I really want to redo the cylinder and upgrade the piston, port and polish the head and do an exhaust with some other small supporting mods. May do a ttr 125 though but I like how small and compact the 110 is, really cheap fun stuff for friends, I keep two bikes to take people riding! It's pretty fun.
Right on !! Luv that high mountain singletrack riding !! Beautiful country !!! Thanks for sharing this with us !!! Glad you didn't bucked off this time !! 🤣👍👍😎
Try going out to 15 and 15 reb & comp. I revavled my 21 300se and it was still deflecting so I brought comp dwn to 15 from 18. & went out to 15 on reb to get more oil flowing. I also am only running 280cc of 5w. I can smash any stepped rooted rock or log 1 foot tall and it’s a lot plusher
Great video as always. I am soliciting opinions. I have a new to me 2020 Sherco se250 factory. 3 good rides on it so far (single track in northern Michigan woods. I am an older rider and only 5’7” tall and was thinking of having Enduro Engineering lower my suspension so I could dab more than just the tip of my toes…. What are your thoughts on lowering suspension?

That looks amazing. I was curious have you ridden a kayo 250 kt? If so what's your thoughts
I was going to ask if you got the suspension dialed in. But you kinda answered that.
Do you plan on doing anything else to the forks?
Can you do a review on a crf 150r vs 150rb for the woods
