We have tons of semi-tame deer here in Cody, Wyoming. They walk up and down the sidewalks, through yards and parking lots, and they usually wait for traffic to clear before they cross the street. These animals are simply learning to co-exist with humans and to benefit by it. Most folks love having them around which makes it mutually beneficial. There are always risks in life and government mommies want to protect us children from harm, but hey government... eat a bucket of turds and shut the hell up. I'll take my chances with the deer, they're considerably less harmful than lawyers and politicians!
+CplSki USMC Very well said. Wyoming looks like such a beautiful state, too; I'd like to be there with the deer. That's really something that they wait for traffic before crossing the street.
+CplSki USMC Like.. What would a human do if a deer wandered up to their child in a strange way.. They would try to kill it.. Why do some people think it is inappropriate for a deer to act the same way?
+John Jake What is a "strange way"? In this video, the deer is the one behaving out of character and the humans are the ones who are accepting of it. Human - wildlife interactions will only increase because the human population continues to increase and expand. Wild animals are learning to benefit from this and their numbers will increase. So human kindness in these types of encounters is beneficial in the long run because we all have to live together. So why do some people think it is inappropriate for humans and wildlife to be accepting of each other and interact with kindness and companionship?
+John Jake Yes, I had to re-read you answer three times until I understood that you actually agreed and that you would have liked it to live. Maybe the formulation was a bit, well unfortunate. You kind of took the deer's perspective which I liked a lot. it is just that me, though I am strongly pro-coexistence, and maybe other readers might have found it subconsciously so odd that we might have missed that on the first glance. Anyway, just thought I would point that out. Greetings from Germany, Mike.
I once had a confrontation with a "conservation officer" over an opossum I had sitting in my car while at a restaurant. He questioned me about the creature and told me I would have to release it. She had a cropped tail from an accident but he would hear nothing of any explanation. Weeks later, I stopped in the local office of the Conservation Dept. (Missouri) and he actually sided with me that the former officer was acting out "the letter of the law" and not realizing "the spirit of the law". That has stuck with me all these years - 'officers' of any kind have temptations to overextend their authority. It's very likely this deer was hand raised or cared for by a human to be so friendly. I have been around some like this and even raised a young female while working for an exotic animal park. A hand raised one even poked it's head in the open window of my car parked at the side of the road and kissed my wife right on the mouth!! Unforgettable...!
this is why the deer had to be killed there not pets just yt When Animals Strike - Deer Attack. its kinda hard to watch you would never think a deer would do this but they are wild animals.
Ben Willis Yes, I live in deer country, I see dozens of them every day, and I can say that deer wasn't well... there's many transmitted diseases that they can suffer from.
i respect how even though its eating your well waited vegetables you were still kind enough to share and enjoy the rare moment that occurred. Beautiful. great energy and emotions were shared that day
Tawny Parker Yeah, they come up to your door because foolish people were more than likely feeding/interacting with them from their homes which eventually gets them killed, a lot of "hunters" will shoot them knowing they're semi-domesticated. Me and a friend had a deer show up (on a farm we managed) when it was just a fawn... (the mother probably died), we put orange reflective (nontoxic) paint/dye and a collar on him... and someone still shot him! However, my friend had put a bell on his collar during hunting season that year... which (I believe) could have got him killed for scaring off other deer in the area.
@@armywife7078 that gator was killed because that woman called the wildlife death squad.........tell the whole story, why don't you.........you can't blame peoples' compassion as justification for government semi-literates killing wildlife.....try harder
This is why if you see an animal in need, you either take responsibility and take care of it or you let it find it's own path. You can transport it yourself somewhere safe or take it to an animal sanctuary. Government officials are useless when handling wild life.
Maverick. I only agree with your part about wildlife personnel. That is so messed up they killed someone's pet deer. My husband had a rattlesnake that he kept at his shop. Had it in a pad- locked cage. (Personally I didnt think it was fair to keep wild snake in cage) Anyways, fish and game lady came and said she had to kill it. He fought her tooth and nail but she literally tortured it to death, cuz she didnt kno how to do a clean kill, and after that she found out it was legal.
Youre an idiot. There are wildlife conservationists that are there specifically for that. Hunters and gun owners fund them. If you see a wild animal like a deer "in need", don't touch it. Go on Google and find the number of your local Game Warden. They will send Wildlife rangers to assess the situation and handle it properly.
Deer have a natural fear of humans. There’s a brain wasting parasite that makes animals lethargic and unresponsive to fear stimuli, and this deer looks like it’s pretty lethargic. They say there’s no cure
@Anna K Doesn't seem at first, but that deer is very close to ignore any predator. Wouldn't be surprised, if later on, it would go stiff (basically, braindead).
@misa smith Yeah, because humans have been raping nature for god knows how long. That’s why they are afraid. But the second one shows an ounce of not being afraid we say there must be something wrong. HELLO...we are the ones acting stupid.
A wild buck willing to let people pet him! Never ever seen one so gentle in any video! It's such a shame he's gone, but I like to believe he's in a better place and happy now. Where-ever he is.
it’s so horrible that “conservation” officers killed him there was 100% a better way to handle the situation especially because he wasn’t causing any trouble :(
It's just a mindless beast. They're sweet but that's about it. It's a prey animal in any case. A horrible lingering death would be its end one day if it wasn't killed by a human for food.
Clearly you’ve never seen what happens to a car when it hits a deer. Or even worse, what happens to a deer when they get hit by a car, have their legs broken, and try to run away only to slowly bleed out, with their bones sticking out through their skin. To say it’s gruesome is an understatement. Or even worse yet, when the deer gets hit by a sedan, flies through the windshield, tries to run, but ends up kicking the driver and front passenger to death. What do you think a deer hoof does when it connects with a human eye socket, nose, face, or head? Dead. Dead. Dead. Not only does your comment show a lack of understanding, but, ironically, a lack of compassion. Urban plus wildlife never ends well. Conservation officers conserve more than just animals. They conserve people too. Sometimes Bambi needs to die.
Nathan Frey Yeah, but there’s other ways to kicking out the deer. Like moving it to a place where they keep deers safe. Like either back to where it came from or to some deer farm (not the farms where they turn the deers into meat).
I know. Humans are very disappointing. It's all twisted and too many sociopaths and narcissist every which way you look. Thanks for caring about animals.
Xidification, WTF are you going on about its a bit sad but people like you have to take the piss out of things because your sad and immature!!! Get a life!!!
They could have relocated him. Now I know if this happens to me to relocate the deer myself. And I am a hunter or I used to be, but this animal deserved to live a full life.
+Timothy Martin relocating deer is tough. the don't take to tranquilizers very well and they don't like staying in enclosed area's for long. From my experience one out of four don't usually make it unfortunately. My guess they did not "destroy it" it the sense most people are taking it but might have donated the meat to a homeless shelter or food bank.
+Les Legato maybe children need to taught to treat animals with respect, in sense they should have a bit more brain mass than an animal, even when a child. Or let them live 18 year in a bubble and when it breaks at 18th birthday wonder why your child is still useless excuse for a human being.

Do you know what Dogs and Cats/Chickens/Horses/Cows/Sheep/Goats/Alpaca/Emu and every other animal we humans like to keep were before we domesticated them? They were *Wild* before some brave soul decided to *Tame* them.
This deer may have had friendly experiences early in life with people (yes, this happenes). Maybe he was rescued as a fawn from private people who raised him for a while. Or his mother was tame and he learned to trust humans that way. Or he was ill/slightly mentally disabled. Could be many things. Shame they killed him.
+Seleuce This happens in areas where hunting is forbidden. Many times people end up feeding the deer or at least being near the animal without posing any danger to the deer. This is how some may lose their fear of humans or never develop it to begin with.
Clyde Rembrandt Yes, I experienced this myself and really liked it for a change to have wild deer around me which were completely unbothered by my presence and ignored me like they would ignore a passing rabbit. (Happened in Zion National Park, great holiday, as well as in Japan). It could be another possible explanation for this animal.
A mentally ill deer or animal. That's funny. Weird but I would agree totally true. It is sad don't get me wrong but it's something people don't tend to think about because people don't normally think of animals being all that bright in comparison to humans in the first place.
At our place in Colorado, I don't think any of the animals are scared of people. last week, some deer, antelope, and quail all walked up just a few yards from us. They looked at us then just kept eating! Flocks of wild turkey just saunter across the road, slow as they please while the cars wait for them to pass. The only animal I saw moving fast was a roadrunner...I think that is just the way they move, it wasn't because he was scared LOL.
Ḡαღ♭ℓ℮ℳαḓм@η you are a perfect example of someone who has absolutely no idea what you're talking about. First of all deer are wild animals and are not at all friendly to humans. If it is, it is sick. Parasites contribute to brain wasting diseases and that's when wild animals approach people. Secondly, this is not a fully grown deer, its adolescent. And therefore, should probably be in a stage of life where it's the most afraid of people. The only thing that you have right is that it's male. I cannot believe the idiocy and the naivete of people who think that it's sweet or cute one wild animals act like this. A healthy deer that's normal and okay would not let you get in 50 yards of it. When they Wonder in the neighborhoods and interact with humans, they are very sick creatures
and that s an argument to kill him ? zoos, wildlife secure compounds , ect ... isn't there an association that wouldn't take it ? Off course wild animals are wild and not too friendly to humans. That's perfectly normal ... I wouldn't expect it otherwise .. They r nice to look at .. but that doesn't make them mine like stuffed bears or so .. your argument is not valid .
Charlotte Larras it's almost though you can be accused of not reading my argument. Zoos? Wildlife refuges? The animal is diseased! I showed this video to my father, who says that it's displaying traits of a parasite based brain wasting disease. Especially when it lays down. Terminally disease Danimals, especially ones that have communicable diseases are going to be sent to a zoo! Or a wildlife refuge! Putting the animal down is the only safe decent thing to do for the animal, and the safety of other animals who are not disease. Grow up a little bit.
Thank you guys for being so nice to the deer! You guy's voices sound so warm and happy to see the deer and it makes it feel warm and welcome. It must be very hungry too and that was very nice of you guys for letting it eat all it wanted like home town buffet! When we do good things we feel good and it makes others feel good. We need to be kind to all animals and our life will be great………..
They're concerned about the entire population in an area. If there are too many of one kind of animal in an area they will starve, inbreed and become diseased and the eco-system will break down as the entire chain of natural events has a link that gets overburdened.
Tame male deer in the U.S. hurt people. During the rut they will gore people with their antlers or slice with their hooftips, called hoofing. The largest number of people injured in national parks by animals are people hurt by tame deer. Therefore, very tame male deer are often killed to protect people from injury. By petting him instead of chasing him these people in this video are contributing to his culling.
...for the sake of a mindless beast? Crazy, inhuman people. Stop anthropomorphizing simple prey animals. They are food-driven eating machines, and you would kill an officer doing his job.
no...it's too extreme. don't ask the death of people. however, they should have found another solution. such as, call specialists and bring the deer to an environment more favorable for him?
I’m an avid deer hunter and I totally disagree with the conservation department killing a deer like this. It’s in the yards and on the sidewalks because we built our houses and sidewalks in its home. It’s been forced to be dependent on humans and it can’t help that. I would only and do only kill deer in remote areas where the deer are terrified of people and they are uninterrupted by human activities because killing deer that are conditioned to see people is inhumane and unfair. That deer is a living creature and when I shoot and kill a deer I recognize that its life has value. The deer in the city has just as much value to its life regardless of the fact that it’s eating backyards and walking on the sidewalk, but the fact that it is forced to be there because of habitat loss makes it absolutely unfair to kill. The conservation agents don’t run around in the woods shooting deer so why shoot one in someone’s yard? If anything let homeowners shoot deer that they have problems with so the meat can be used
You're either: A) Not a hunter at all B) A poacher who is unlicensed in his state to hunt. Because if you truly were a licensed hunter and you had taken your Hunter Safety Course, you would get why it's necessary to kill that deer. Those deers bring diseases, giant ticks, and danger to the local pets, adults, and children that are outside. There's also the property damage. Plus you don't want to be in the middle of them during mating season.
@@HurricaneHugues Thats bullshit. He wasn't hurting anyone then. If that's the case with diseases then what about every single mosquito bite? I agree. That deer was in the early stages of it. Deer just don't walk up to people like their not even there. We had a large rack buck a few years ago that was in the late stages of cwd hanging around the house. Tongue hanging out, hair falling out, covered in flies, laying in the shade. Or in the shallow water of the pond during the hottest part of the day. And no fear of humans at all. This was in South Central Pa..
What a set of total arsehole killing the deer ,they could of found a place that keeps deer on private enclosed land plenty people would of taken him on ....
They didn't care about relocating the deer when a couple bullets takes care if it. They choose the quick solution , rather than go to a bit of trouble making a couple phone calls and finding a place for the animal on reserve , and there are many if them.
It sounds like you people don't have a clue how these things work, these things happen all the time with animal control. It's easy for people to say "someone should take care of it", funny how that someone is never you, its always someone else who should take that responsibility. They took the animal, kept it for a couple weeks and likely couldn't find a permanent home so it was put down, nothing evil or bad about it, welcome to reality.
"GAH! a deer in our town, it will kill/hurt everyone" 7 bil people on this planet and we can't accept one deer that walks around in town? If we wan't a planet in harmony... Than we also have to accept the animals. We are suppose to follow the nature, not the other way around.. -.-
Overpopulation? LUL no such thing. Never understood how people can remove humans from nature, we ARE nature and that includes everything we do. I swear some people value animals and plants and shit more then they do human lives, its a suicidal way of thinking. I'm not out to kill shit, but if they are in the way of human progress so be it, I put humans before any other animal or plant life.
Tara Balestrino - or maybe you were trying to argue that putting human life above animal and plant life is a bad thing? I really don't know since you didn't actually say, you just said the human race is a fuck up, called me ignorant and for some reason mentioned flat earth. You don't argue a position by making assumptions and putting words in someones mouth
What a beautiful creature. I imagine it was so hungry, that it didn't care about the people around it because it finally found some food. So sad to hear it was killed. Thanks for sharing your garden with it, and the video with us. Nature is beautiful, I'll never understand why people hunt for sport.
what conservation department would this be? how do we contact them and complain? this is evil and should be posted on a petition website to expose the evil entity who uses our tax dollars to murder such a beautiful gentle creature. I am just livid.
Wise Up In my experience, game wardens, dog catchers, etc. aren't evil, aren't "haters," and aren't dirtbags; they're people doing a thankless job the best they can, following certain limitations imposed on them by regulations, and trying to keep the public safe while balancing the good of the wildlife. Moving this deer to a remote location may have been an ideal solution, but we don't know what other factors may have come into play here. One thing is almost certain, though: this deer had been fed by people before, and so lost its natural fear of humans; a fed dear is a dead deer, and it's those people who bear most of the responsibility.
Not sure exactly from what I am seeing. But based on his weight, his perceived age, and behavior. He may have not been in the best health. But either way. Thats really poor that 'conservation' officers killed this animal. The government shoves it's nose into many areas that it has little to no business. They're just overbearing pricks.
I'm not sure either, habitat constriction causes similar "if you can't beat them, join them" behavior..if he was healthy ,he was exploiting the benefits of living among people over deeper in limited wild space. Deer like peace, tranquility, routine & security

@Kelvin Price except Chronic wasting disease has multiple symptoms that are extremely easy to spot, I did not see any of those other symptoms. One symptom of not caring about other animals around it does not mean it has CWD.
It's said in Maryland that MD DNR's authority is essentially equal to US Marshals. I grew up on a friend's 297-acre turf farm...... one day he was hunting geese in the middle of 100 acre field when, from the treeline, appeared a DNR cop who'd cited him for hunting over bait. It was like Scotty beamed him down to that field from Starship Enterprise...... sod fields of course have tons of grass seed. The DNR cop told him they'd spotted him from aerial recon photos. I don't recall the outcome, but it did cost him quite a lot to get cleared.
Malcolm MacLeod - You do realize that it's not personally the officers choice but rather the law and instruction given by the command and persons who are in charge of the program right?
Bos742: Then the "command" and persons in charge are not doing their jobs well, but are simple bureaucrats taking the easy way out. They seem to have no feeling for wildlife, as they do in Europe. Surprising the difference.
Malcolm MacLeod - I couldn't agree more with what you wrote to me in your last reply... it's very disheartening and shameful for those of us who don't get to make the decisions and do what is right but get blamed for everything when the true idiot is the person being paid too much money with zero experience telling us how to do our jobs.

I learned something from this. Chase them off!! Until our species evolves into something more inline with actually being "humane", then chasing them off is best, for *their* safety. Sad 🙁... but true. They will find food and refuge elsewhere.
nonsense my dear......your 'us against them' world view lacks compassion.....the problem is paid inbred hicks shooting them, NOT people feeding or petting them
Conservation is not the same as preservation. It's all about maintaining a reasonable population that's ultimately the best for the ecosystem. If deer are foraging in people's yards there's not enough food available for the current population, thus you lower it. Otherwise the deer just die slowly on the sides of roads because they desperately and foolishly try to cross it for resources.

Usually people who are raised around wildlife know better than to go up and try to pet them. That “Dude, hold my beer and watch this” thing can go so wrong, so incredibly fast. And most people don’t even realize that even a very small dog can look like a threat to a doe. I once saw the skull of a Yorkshire Terrier split open by a new mama whose fawn was laying in the flower bed nearby. The dog caught the scent of the fawn and just started to walk over in that general direction - when Mama Doe charged the Yorkie and kicked it in the head, splitting that little skull right open. It was awful and not a thing that anyone could do for that little guy, he was dead, no matter how hard his STUPID owner stood there and screamed her head off. We told that knucklehead to put her dog on a leash but do people listen, nooooo. Finally someone got a paper bag so she could scoop up what was left of her dog’s brains and carry it away. No more Yorkie for YOU, knucklehead! There’s a buck w/a nice rack that sometimes lays around on the lawn in front of the courthouse - you can’t walk up to him, in fact if you stand there and stare at him too long he’ll get up and move, but he’s not afraid of people. When he walks through downtown traffic, people just stop and let him come on through, and why not? If you hit him w/your car it’ll just tear up your car. But going around trying to make pets of them, that’s a REALLY bad idea. Don’t do that, people. It never ends well for the animal, either. As you can see for yourselves.....
Reminds me of the Fish and Game officers in Santa Cruz, Ca who shot and killed two 14 pound mountain lion cubs in a shed who were a "threat" to the public. Give me a break.
Isn't there a molecule of thought that our country is just a bit overboard with firearms and authority to use them? We see it reported almost every day in the news of lethal force used in a situation that didn't demand it at all. It is sickening to witness these actions that are mindless and reactive.
I would hope that hunters in America find this outrageous. I’m American I grew up hunting with my family, and I was taught we don’t kill animals in need of help. Rather we help and save the animals in need and hunt fairly. I’m not talking about this family, but rather the fish and game. Nor am I saying the fish and game hunted them, but what I am saying is this animal was unfairly killed, and two I’m sure someone somewhere, like a zoo, could have provided a better out come. FYI I’m 100% ok with hunting, I have never shot a mammal, only pheasant, and even though I went with my family on hunting trips, I decided I didn’t want to take an animals life. I love venison, but I don’t want to kill anything. My choice, if you can, I understand, and there is no hate. Many families need to, so they can feed their families. But this is wrong. Unfair. Unjust.
They off deer like this probably for two reasons. This guy in the rut is dangerous, especially around women who aren't post-menopausal (there is a long history there, and not one incident, but probably hundreds with some resulting in death). Reason 2 is that kind of behavior can be an illness or disease issue. If it's disease and you let him walk, then it could result in a spread that kills dozens, hundreds or thousands of deer. I would hate to have a kid outside and have this guy walk up during the rut and gore them.
If u can't feed your children it probably means u were not living within your means. Why not have one child instead of three u can't afford - & most don't bring dem up properly anyway (disrespecting others, dysfunctional, raping, .killing). Don't blame others for your selfishness

He didn't deserve to die because the conservation officer said so. How awful. I'm so mad. The deer didn't do anything wrong or dangerous.

Just kill an innocent beast who wouldn't bother the kids in the first place if they acted normal .. Such a shame !

That’s so cute!!
This video put me in a good mood until i read about the death squad murdering him.
Tigger the cat I know. So sad. I guess that's what you get for trusting people. 🙃
It was probably a sick deer
Me too. It really bummed me out!
Ben Willis Yes, I live in deer country, I see dozens of them every day, and I can say that deer wasn't well... there's many transmitted diseases that they can suffer from.
Jovi Very true!, my paranoid schizophrenic meth addicted mother always told me that!
i respect how even though its eating your well waited vegetables you were still kind enough to share and enjoy the rare moment that occurred. Beautiful. great energy and emotions were shared that day
Wow the deer seemed to understand which plants he had permission to eat. 👍Amazing to see, Im not so lucky!
You're beautiful
@@godzjewlz5245 thanks. The curved display helps.
If we killed every semi-friendly deer in my town there'd be none left. They used to come right up to my front door at my old house.
Conservation think they are god a bunch of useless dumb fucks
Tawny Parker Yeah, they come up to your door because foolish people were more than likely feeding/interacting with them from their homes which eventually gets them killed, a lot of "hunters" will shoot them knowing they're semi-domesticated. Me and a friend had a deer show up (on a farm we managed) when it was just a fawn... (the mother probably died), we put orange reflective (nontoxic) paint/dye and a collar on him... and someone still shot him! However, my friend had put a bell on his collar during hunting season that year... which (I believe) could have got him killed for scaring off other deer in the area.
Wow

This is why if you see an animal in need, you either take responsibility and take care of it or you let it find it's own path. You can transport it yourself somewhere safe or take it to an animal sanctuary. Government officials are useless when handling wild life.
Yeah, good luck getting that deer and its antlers into the back seat of your car.
I guess they are ass holes
@@saltpepperketchup7082 Sound's like there are a lot of useles bureaucrats..getting off on the power to make other citizens miserable.
It wouldn't have been difficult to catch and release him in a better area. He doesn't look sick to me.
Deer have a natural fear of humans. There’s a brain wasting parasite that makes animals lethargic and unresponsive to fear stimuli, and this deer looks like it’s pretty lethargic. They say there’s no cure
@Greg Jacques Lucifer's Jizz Gargler
Amen, brother.
@Anna K
Doesn't seem at first, but that deer is very close to ignore any predator. Wouldn't be surprised, if later on, it would go stiff (basically, braindead).
@@coleluna2073 Please stop giving out diagnoses. Youre clearly not qualified. Did you read a blog or something?
@misa smith Yeah, because humans have been raping nature for god knows how long. That’s why they are afraid. But the second one shows an ounce of not being afraid we say there must be something wrong. HELLO...we are the ones acting stupid.
A wild buck willing to let people pet him! Never ever seen one so gentle in any video! It's such a shame he's gone, but I like to believe he's in a better place and happy now. Where-ever he is.
The deer had no signs of rabies. It seemed as though it was possibly raised by someone and let go. It definitely should not have been destroyed!
Gerald McCarter yeah, that's what I think: someone probably raised him as a Fawn and then let him go.
I had the same thought. Pretty rare to have a Deer let someone that close, pet him, and not be skittish.
Bluenose352 maybe at that point in time the deer didn’t sense any harm? Maybe.
juan mendoza Yes. Especially if the Deer was hand reared. It seems humans, at some point, left an imprint on him.
Could have had cwd
it’s so horrible that “conservation” officers killed him there was 100% a better way to handle the situation especially because he wasn’t causing any trouble :(
It's just a mindless beast.
So they don't shoot a bear who almost made a three year old girl his lunch but will shoot a deer who wasn't harming anyone? Go figure.
Nathan Frey
Yeah, but there’s other ways to kicking out the deer. Like moving it to a place where they keep deers safe. Like either back to where it came from or to some deer farm (not the farms where they turn the deers into meat).
Maggie Szpanelewska

They're such peaceful creatures.
+nate9696 ... then they still killed it lol, who gives a fuck what term you place on it.
+nate9696 Uhm...if they did as you said they did, then they "destroyed it."
the deer was doing no harm it may not fear humans but it was none aggressive and would of been easily relocated with no problems at all

+Seleuce
This happens in areas where hunting is forbidden. Many times people end up feeding the deer or at least being near the animal without posing any danger to the deer. This is how some may lose their fear of humans or never develop it to begin with.
Clyde Rembrandt
Yes, I experienced this myself and really liked it for a change to have wild deer around me which were completely unbothered by my presence and ignored me like they would ignore a passing rabbit. (Happened in Zion National Park, great holiday, as well as in Japan). It could be another possible explanation for this animal.
A mentally ill deer or animal. That's funny. Weird but I would agree totally true. It is sad don't get me wrong but it's something people don't tend to think about because people don't normally think of animals being all that bright in comparison to humans in the first place.
alex no excuse for killing it...

Who killed him? I didn't see any killing in the video
I'd say you are blessed! What a wonderful act of nature, and, road-runners are tops, such interesting birds!
Antelope? 🤔

So a human friendly, fully grown, adult male deer wasn't worth conserving right?
Ḡαღ♭ℓ℮ℳαḓм@η
that's disgusting .
it was a young buck .. he didn't bother anyone .. I feel sick .
Matthew McPeek Jesus christ dude fucking chill.
and that s an argument to kill him ?
zoos, wildlife secure compounds , ect ... isn't there an association that wouldn't take it ?
You guy's voices sound so warm
and happy to see the deer and it makes it feel warm and welcome.

'Oh, the peas? No prob, Bob'
Killed it? And they're called conservation officers?
'conservation officer' > typical Orwellian fascist speak
Exactly...
By petting him instead of chasing him these people in this video are contributing to his culling.
gryphern they could have put him in a contained area, he shouldn't be killed for trusting humans. That is so sad
Glad you were cool about your garden. This doesn't happen very often.

only about 20% or so of the human race could be classified as sick, in that way.......most people are just too complacent, not evil/sick
If anything let homeowners shoot deer that they have problems with so the meat can be used
You're either:
A) Not a hunter at all
B) A poacher who is unlicensed in his state to hunt.
Its dangerous and potentially life threatening yet what else can you do about it. The worlds a dangerous place and that deer was just fine and that's not an excuse to just kill.

+retro80s Yes, I would be tempted to do something to those assholes who shot this deer. If I had a gun....just saying.
They didn't care about relocating the deer when a couple bullets takes care if it.
They choose the quick solution , rather than go to a bit of trouble making a couple phone calls and finding a place for the animal on reserve , and there are many if them.
+Barclay Reginald well said I fully agree unnecessary killing
+Noelle Jordan right there with you on that
It sounds like you people don't have a clue how these things work, these things happen all the time with animal control.
Andre Hoiland Basically the deer was killed because it didn't fear people. Can u imagine this same excuse if applied to humans instead of deer?
Yup, 7 billion people. Nothing wrong with that. 8 billion within next 5yrs. Nothing wrong with that.... I sense a larger issue.
Tara Balestrino - I think you and I are in agreement.
This deer is obviously stoned. It grazed the 'secret' part of the garden beforehand.
what conservation department would this be? how do we contact them and complain?

***** they are pure evil and haters.
This just broke my heart. How can such evil dirtbags get into office. Damn.
One thing is almost certain, though: this deer had been fed by people before, and so lost its natural fear of humans; a fed dear is a dead deer, and it's those people who bear most of the responsibility.
wise up...simple, they STEAL elections

I'm not sure either, habitat constriction causes similar "if you can't beat them, join them" behavior..if he was healthy ,he was exploiting the benefits of living among people over deeper in limited wild space. Deer like peace, tranquility, routine & security

Stay away from my zucchini!! 🤣🤣
Oh, there's a harmless deer roaming around bringing joy to people all around?
*F***ing kill it.*
Seriously, why is "Kill it" always the #1 solution?
yes,and humans start to act very agressive and stupid when the "fuzz" starts to grow on their face -lets kill them too!!!
It has chronic wasting disease. You'd rather see the deer suffer than to put it down?
How do you know it has such disease?
Dylan P. food
+crixusinho wolf Lol!So true.
"Conservation officers" are not what the name implies. Because it's a job, they often take the easy way out.
Malcolm MacLeod - You do realize that it's not personally the officers choice but rather the law and instruction given by the command and persons who are in charge of the program right?
Bos742: Then the "command" and persons in charge are not doing their jobs well, but are
simple bureaucrats taking the easy way out. They seem to have no feeling for wildlife, as
they do in Europe. Surprising the difference.
Malcolm MacLeod
I got my name, but no message.
Malcolm MacLeod - I couldn't agree more with what you wrote to me in your last reply... it's very disheartening and shameful for those of us who don't get to make the decisions and do what is right but get blamed for everything when the true idiot is the person being paid too much money with zero experience telling us how to do our jobs.
video gets recommended to me (2019) : "Aww, baby-.. this made my day so much more better, thanks youtube."

"Oh, thanks youtube :'D" -poor baby.. i'm glad he met you before he died :(.-
The deers like: what are these people saying?.... ahh what ever
I learned something from this. Chase them off!!
Until our species evolves into something more inline with actually being "humane", then chasing them off is best, for *their* safety.
Sad 🙁... but true. They will find food and refuge elsewhere.
nonsense my dear......your 'us against them' world view lacks compassion.....the problem is paid inbred hicks shooting them, NOT people feeding or petting them
Video was so sweet. Aftermath heartbreaking. They should fire the conservation offices and replace them with deer.
How beaitifull and amazing that he did not run away :)
Its normal to see it in Colorado mountain area. People had feeding container in their front yard. Even saw bear once.
jun park just
If an wild animal comes to you, it's then an ex Family member
I don't see how anyone can kill such a beautiful animal and eat them.
It's a shame of the conservation officers killed it. What kind of fucking conservation they do then??
"Venison is the freezer" conservation?
Conservation is not the same as preservation. It's all about maintaining a reasonable population that's ultimately the best for the ecosystem. If deer are foraging in people's yards there's not enough food available for the current population, thus you lower it. Otherwise the deer just die slowly on the sides of roads because they desperately and foolishly try to cross it for resources.
The deer wasn't killed, he was destroyed
Da Vo. /// What's the difference then?
+hyacinthdibley2: Sarcasm, perhaps?
Hi USA!!! Canada here. I live in Edgewater, BC.... 10 kms north of Radium Hot Springs....about 1 1/2 hours north of the border in the rocky mountains. We have herds walking down our streets.... herds of wild turkey's..... the odd bear or two. Awesome!
The Deer: 'I am moving in'.
Somebody must have called about the deer? I wouldn't have said anything since it was friendly! It may have been raised by a human as a rescue? That's so sad. It was not afraid of humans and apparently it should have been!! 😕 So aggravatingly sad!! 😢
sad thing is 'our' leaders, who oversee destruction like this, do not represent wildlife or humans in any way
It was sick. Lookup: Chronic Wasting Disease in deers
@@HurricaneHugues the paid trolls, servicing government interests were expected to trot out this incredibly overused 'disease' strawman....please try much harder.......and yes I HAVE been around wildlife.....foxes, moose, caribou, snakes, deer etc.....unlike you
My heart breaks thinking how friendly and trusting this deer was and the conservation betrayed that trust and killed it.
it's awful to have killed such a nice harmless beast., I am very shocked. I signed up for your channel 👍
Aventure Nature / Serge Tonietto-Giguère the beast is not the deer the beasts are some people.
Ahh raise him like a family dog. He's very friendly.
Poor deer looking for food
Jesus don't show him your weed plans Regan!!!
thats a garden Buffet it aint going no where lol
You can tell the deer wants to live there, its like hey human we can be buddies.
I thing Reagan's been feeding that deer some Valium
He wanted to take a nap after he ate and you guys kept bugging him
Usually people who are raised around wildlife know better than to go up and try to pet them.
Give me a break.
those officers have repressed gay urges or small endowments, i'll bet
Isn't there a molecule of thought that our country is just a bit overboard with firearms and authority to use them? We see it reported almost every day in the news of lethal force used in a situation that didn't demand it at all. It is sickening to witness these actions that are mindless and reactive.
LOL...my ex husband was an avid hunter and I always suspected he was gay!
Unfair. Unjust.
Murderers
Murder is human to human.
@@cswong6102 what an ignorant?

What kind of conservation officers you have in US. That' hard to believe.

deer responds you took my land and my trees f u
Anthony Madura lol like you cared for them in the first place.
Elliot Alpert A deer has a good 15 seconds when tranqued and let me tell you.....them fuckers will use those very seconds to take you down with em

That's not normal deer behavior.
