- Lotus is dead! Not really, it's having a major re-change to all of it's models. Which means that it's the end of the road with the beloved Elise and Evora. This is a short and sweet test review of the Evora 410 Sport which should potentially be the sweet spot in the range - and so it should be at a whopping £86,000!

I really like it, i'm a big Porsche fan but this is probably one that could cheese it for me. I just really hope that Lotus are able to make it as good as this with their new car!

Matt Farah complained about the heel and toe issue as well, several years ago. I guess they haven't sorted that out yet. Keep turning out more videos man, I really enjoy your content.

@@SidNorth He did. Check out his 2018 Evora 410 Sport video, around the 6 minute mark. Literally word for word what you mentioned.
Heel and toe is fine. Its rev matching on down shifts. The throttle map has an overide map from toyota which means if you push 2 pedals or more at once it may cut revs as it assumes you are having an accident. Its hit and miss and can be worked around with practice. Better in sport / track and with a definate prod of accelerator. Also clutch pedal needs to be at the bottom not on its way. When it all comes together its great and for a petrol head that's what is so great about lotus. You have to learn them and get used to them and form a relationship with them. They are not cars that do it all for you. When you get it right you are well and truly rewarded. The last of an era relish them.

Fantastic content form one of the best car RUclips channel presenter this side of the pond, Side you have created a vacuum with lack of content but no other person can fill your space. Yet. I know you may have different priorities but damn Sid, you are a prolific driver and presenter of car content.
I watch so many car related RUclips videos and other than Chris Harris Sid North is the next best thing, for a young man he truly knows his onions. Great videos so much information and to top it off this man can really wheel are car .Great video keep up the good work 👏

Sid, how would you compare the 410 with the F430? Same amount of money now. Is the Ferrari just a different kind of special, or has the Evora really caught up?

Everyone ranted and raced about the Evora, but sales told a different story, almost feels like this was Lotus's greatest failure. With the announcement of the Emira, we'll see if this is really is the last of it's kind...
