coming from a 7900xt user i'd much rather go back to nvidia and get a 4070 ti super cause the drivers are better and dlss seems to be in most games whereas fsr isn't
ti super has 16 gigs bru, don’t discount ray tracing or dlss 3 either and I’ve owned like 3 amd cards, still went with the ti super over the 7900xt bc of dlss 3 (btw I bought my card on launch when they were both the same price)
I’m not a nvidia fan boy at all I even have a and gpu but if i had no budget wouldn’t I want a 4090 Ofer a 7900 bc they both are the newest cards at the moment but the vram is 4 Gb of difference and dlss witch would make the 4090 better of u want the best specs with no budget
I used to be anti dlss till I got a card with dlss, it works so well it doesn't make sense to not count it. I would bet theres an ever decreasing window of games that are still taxing enough to need the extra horse power yet old enough to not support dlss.
I like pure raster performance, but I can see games headed towards vr/wearables where the frames will need to be generated using realtime AIFG. Unless AMD catches up with software it'll fall behind regardless of raw performance, if you make the scene look indistinguishable without being able to spot any uncanny valley with high performance. It's a win. I really hope AMD can keep up with software design and integration because it's becoming vital. Feel free to quote me 5 years from now, I'll wait.
People: I can do the same with DLS. AMD: I did it without. And when I can't I've got double FPS. People: Yes but actually I have no argument so I'm gonna say RT like the 7900 doesn't have something like over 84 chips dedicated to ray accelerator and over 84 compute units.
WHERE?! here then went down in price for a week and then WENT EVEN HIGHER! i just wanna build a pc but the prices went up, i just want a 4070 ti super but it went up by like 50 making it 820
Depends. Some do support it fairly well, while others really don't favor it at all. Do research into which you use and AMD compatibility. Also make sure the research is on AMD pro not adrenaline drivers
Buying a graphics card because if that companies software advantages is kinda dumb, cuz the software can be updated after u purchase it, but u can't just update to a better graphics card
Software isn’t a valid argument for a better gpu becuase AMD WILL develop the FSR software, which will eventually match DLSS and you will have the better raw performance of the amd card
Yeah sorta. Right now AMD has updated FSR 3.1 which looks a lot closer to DLSS than ever before, but keep in mind that took years vs DLSS which was like that for the 20 and 30 series. So it is beneficial to get the current best, unless you're willing to wait for better software at any random point in the future. I prefer rasterized gaming so AMD is always my choice
Hilarious, the next generation of the intel ACR GPUs are going to blow the competition out of the water with a 16gb gpu that has the same performance as a 4070ti for only 280 dollars.
@@LancerUniversal Yeah so anything is an upgrade at this point but I suggest jumping the 4060s and the 4070s unless it’s a TI super for that 16 gigs of VRAM. If you purely care about performance and not added features like DLSS and Ray/path tracing then go for the 7900xt it’s a beast.
