We kept buying the phones even when they came without the charger. Shows the manufacturer they can keep doing it

In Indonesia, the phone comes with 25W fast charger.
In Malaysia, there is no charger but you do get lower price.
I am a huge Samsung fan but this no charger in the box is just too bad. I know my displeasure won't change anything but I will still say it.
I bought this phone last month. It has a nice body. It has good user experience and graphics and also amazing sound. I hate that it does not have a charger brick and also it shows that the phone is charging when it's not. Thirdly, the camera is not good enough.

Yes it is an entry level phone. 😂 Thats why we chose it for my grandfather. He just was to call his brother overseas. Doesnt play games or use camera. Cheaper to call via WiFi than landline. And can set to easy mode for dummies.

Is the processing power good enough that it wont crash or lag on apps? Im looking for a cheap enough phone I can trade with and with my budget 😅 I need something that can carry me through without my wallet having holes in it .

How much is the charger
I love how the brightness always drops to the lowest and I get to decide what I want. Not a fan of too much light.
There's a setting if you press on the three dots in the brightness bar which allows you to switch between auto and manual

Though am a Samsung fan but i feel if Samsung continues not giving their customers in Nigeria value for money they may just fall out in the Nigeria narket most especially with thier budget phones
Just got it yesterday. If I had known it didn't have fingerprint situation, I wouldn't have gotten it. That's the only issue for me. I pray they release a software that addresses this situation.
Just battling with same issue
Software update cannot bring a hardware feature such as fingerprint scanner. It's encouraged that you wait and watch reviews on a device so you know its strengths and limitations before buying.

It's on one ui 6 now with android 14 but said features are still missing and most notably for me at least edge panels are still missing from the settings
It cannot have edge panel, it's an entry level Samsung device
It's very bad that a budget samsung phone can not screen record, something that is in every phone

The Redmi 12 does not come with a charger but a case.
It's quite unfortunate that we don't get chargers anymore. If i want to get this phone, I'd have to discard the charger i currently have because it's a normal usb type.

Nice review, but I got this phone about week ago and its been very slow charging even after I turned on the fast charging in the settings.
I plug it overnight and wake up to 81%

@@FrankFejiro-kd6hk if you mean the clock animation on the home screen, any device on Android 12 and above can do it except Xiaomi/Redmi devices. Just download Google clock app and check your widgets

Doesn't matter. They list their prices in Naira. The pricing they set is what is recommended to them by the manufacturer. You can take their pricing and convert to dollars at different rates then compare with the official dollar pricing
Yeah thanks for the info izzi but there one thing I noticed the price you listed here for the Samsung A05 is very much going to be different from the price retailers are selling

@@NieketienDoubra-if3le you're buying from the wrong retailers then. There are manufacturer recommended retailers. As of now, there's a discount on the A05 if I'm correct, so you'll even find it for less.

I got this phone on Tuesday bought the 4/128 N106,700 ... Had to buy the charger separately for N10,000 na only USB chord and that pin for opening sim tray come with the phone .. .. yet to get a casing for it cos the phone is still Very much new and the spare part , components aren't ij the market yet

No
This phone stops charging after just a month. It isn’t a software issue. Unfortunately it’s the very common problem with A05, I just had mine replaced after just 1 month of using it, it stopped charging completely. If you have the same problem, you should take FULL ADVANTAGE of Samsung 1 year warranty, they will have to fix or replace your phone within a year free of charge (for an exact same so you will likely have the same problem regardless). Initially, it seemed like a good phone, now I’m regretting my choice. If anyone found a solution out of this dumb charging problem, please let me know!
⭐I think they have no charger to lower the cost.. you know well chargers are do different globally. Good cheap phone for grandparents.

I doubt people look to Samsung for low end devices because the competitions seem to do it better.
The Galaxy A14 was the best selling Android device last year. The year before, it was the A13. I'd say people look to Samsung for budget devices regardless of how much better the competition does it. That's why we have to let them know their devices are below par

Redmi note 13 C is far better device. Has 90 Hz refresh, comes with charger, has finger print sensor and better camera

About the brightness dropping randomly on its own omooo I think say na my phone whether Dem don go sell spoilt phone give me 😂😂😂
About the brightness issue, turn off the adaptive brightness option in your settings and it tye brightness will stop changing itself. I recently got one and I'm loving the phone
