How is that fair? Men are definitely the majority of hunters and our chances would go down while your other 2 choices would get more chance. Youth already get special hunts that give them a huge leg up. The way it is is the only fair way of doing it.
@timsmith2212 Youth do not get any special opportunities besides the youth whitetail weekend in September. Why would it be unfair to break it down between the categories? Plenty of us lady hunters who have applied year after year. One of the last females to draw the pure mi package was in 2016

@chelseazarate189 most of the elk tags end up going to kids
@mschriber88 No they don't unless the original draw winner decides to pass their tag to a kid on the list through the MiDNR
