Great review! I have a 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD 6 speed manual. I absolutely love it and it always puts a smile on my face whenever I drive it. For car guys that’s truly all that matters.
Great review. Great car that has a balanced approach to being a sports sedan vs its German competition. Definitely not everyone’s cup of tea but a very unique car that stands out for being different
If I had the money for a car of this class I would consider the TLX if it weren’t for the lack of a touch screen. Honda has been silly with their infotainment in the last decade, such as removing the volume knob on upper trims of the Accord and Civic around 2016. I hated driving my ex’s civic with the swipe/smear to change the volume. I’m glad that Acura seems to be phasing the touch pad out. Great review as always :)
Absolutely gorgeous design. I just wished Acura didn’t dial that wonderful V6 back so much. The way it’s built I know it could handle more power with ease. But I guess they wanted the best fuel economy as possible, and of course the politicians want lower emissions.
Great review! TLX is a great looking car / package. I love the durability of Hondas K Series, so I would go for the ASpec. Not fast, yeah yeah I know, but that’s not a priority for me.
The biggest problem with this car is integra type s. That's same size inside, hatch, drives better, and faster around a track. But if you can't drive manual then a TLx type s is a good pretty upped accord
I'd say this thing is just misunderstood. The integra isn't worth it's price but in today's world it's a marvel. TLX is more of a whole package. It just weighs way too much, has less convenient cargo space because of the braces and doesn't have a touch screen thooo the MDX just came out with a redesigned touch screen and hvac controls. Hope the TLX gets it.
Can't beilieve Acura uses a timing belt for such a complex engine. Also, the type S is a very fun car and it is so easy to drive fast. Anyone can get in the car and rip it

Two different cars. The tlx is definitely faster because of the transmission.
