Ronnie Lott probably had the best all-around career of any D-back in my lifetime, but while he was playing, Kenny Easley (short career due to injuries and illness) was probably the very best. Right there with Lott, Woodson, Reed, Polamulu, etc.
I grew up a Vikings fan, and still am, but I remember turning on a random mid-season game between the Seahawks and Bengals in the early eighties, and this guy was involved in EVERY defensive play, and became my favorite NFL player ever. If he'd played in this our modern pass-happy era he would have a lot more interceptions/Pick Sixes. I have him right there with Ronnie Lott and Ed Reed as one of the Top 3 Safeties of all time.
Long overdue to be in the HOF but Kenny is now where he belongs. This guy was an assassin and one of the best Safeties to ever play this game. Congrats to Mr. Easley...total class act of a man.
Like most the best Seahawk. Or best player? Best player is between Easley and Largent hopefully one day Wilson. Best Seahawk is Wilson (carries us to the playoffs year in year out, won us our first Superbowl, and took us to our 2nd and 3rd.)
