I'm a combination pencil, painter, and digital. Typically, I find it hard to just begin something on the computer from scratch, so I draw it out on printer paper first, then use the drawing as a base or lineart for the finished product (scanning it onto the computer) - painting out the entire drawing only on rare occasions. Plus, it gives a great feeling of accomplishment to have something in the physical world to represent your work. I enjoy working with charcoal and watercolors on occasion, but the marriage of pencil drawing and digital painting is the main method I use in creating my art. I could definitely identify with these different personalities - especially with the utilitarian hair - though caffeine repels me. Oh... But I do have a crap sleep schedule, though. Also, I need to get me some smudge-resistant gloves; I had no idea such a thing exists before now.

I'm pencil and digital. I first draw the piece on paper then I draw the same piece on my laptop. I don't do scanning, and my physical is much more messier than my digital. I also do mixing and I love color theory. Most of my sketches start with simple shapes and then I add detail. My digital art is based of layers and shapes, and I always mix colors to make things look nicer. Oh, and I hate caffeine.

Alcohol based markers in general tbh. I prefer to use Promarkers

I mean I would do alcohol markers in general, I prefer prismacolies and really don’t like using copics. But each have their own strengths so I would do all brands as well. Copic ohuhu prisma and promarker. I’d love to see some of your art if you share it, since it’s hard to find marker artists on social media!

This is so true!My brother is a graphite pencil artist and you described him exactly I’m a digital artist and the sleep schedule is true last night I went to bed at 12:15AM and I could not fall asleep no matter how hard I tried edit: Now I’m more of a graphite artist too I stopped dying my hair and draw only with pencils and I’ve been dressing to impress and have a more fancy style of clothes I still wear cozy stuff but with like chokers and purses but I still have an awful sleep schedule sometimes I go to bed at like 10 and wake up at 2 and decide I’m gonna be productive or I sometimes sleep in I go to bed at 10 and sleep like a normal person which im 100% sure I’m not

I'm more of an illustrator (using colored pencils and markers) and ceramicist. But I do enjoy watercolor painting as well. Thanks for posting this video!! All of these were very true and are more visible in college than it is anywhere else. I definitely know from experience!
