    Never put grease or any fluid on the headbolts. Bad practice and useless tbh.

      @@AjusaAutomotive i work at a mercedes benz garage and i recently did my head gasket. The information sheet clearly stated not to use any lubricant/liquid in the threadholes. A liquid is not compresseable risking to damage the threadholes and it doesnt offer any advantage.

      @@MrDosSantos991 When you use a liquid you must make sure that there is no excess of this liquid to avoid what you indicate. For this reason we use greases that do not drain to the bottom of the hole. In any workshop manual you could check it is recommended to apply grease or engine oil. Thanks for your comments.       @@AjusaAutomotive hi, as i previously stated it is not advised to use grease or any lubricant on the bolts. It doesnt offer any advantage.
