The store’s CEO Heather Reisman and her husband have given $100 million to a charity they established to assist non-Israelis joining the IDF. Martínez discusses the HESEG Foundation for Lone Soldiers and other registered charities that likely violate Canada Revenue Agency rules by supporting the Israeli military.

As an American/ Canadian dual I find this very disturbing. I am living state side and I have been alarmed at the assault on first amendment rights as workers, journalists and anyone that voices a pro Palestinian opinion are getting fired from their jobs, housing, educational opportunity and livelihoods. Since covid, the fierce rush to fascism that is occurring in both countries is very scary. Israel is an apartheid state and both the West Bank snd Gaza are, in essence, concentration camps and what the IDF is doing is genocide. The fact that both countries support this financially and morally disgusts me and the fact that for decades the US has blocked the rest of the world from holding Israel to account flys in the face of all rhetoric of equality they have put forward. The main charge, if you disagree, is one of anti semitism. Israel is not the Jews. The Jews are a kind, generous and thoughtful people and this is proven by the massive number of those of Jewish persuasion around the world have been on the frontlines protesting what Netanyahu is doing in Gaza. Those in power in Israel are the Zionist, a European group that began to arrive in Israel after the Ottoman Empire was destroyed by Britain and America. They do not well represent the majority of Jews. Jews, Christians and Arabs lived in peace and harmony for hundreds of years before the Balfour agreement of 1917 and the beginning of the Zionist movement. Then, with the Nakba in 1948 when the colonial powers, United States and Britain coerced the UN into creating Israel, kicking nearly 800,000 people off of their ancestral lands and giving it to the Zionists the current problem began. The Palestinians must be free and if the west does not abandon the blind support of the Zionists and support freedom and Democracy for all, we will all perish together.
The Ottoman Turks were not Arabs, and things were better for jews in the Ottoman Empire than in parts of Europe for several hundred years. However, after the fall of the Ottomans, when they chose the wrong side in WW1, the administration of the Ottoman Empire real estate, went to the British, who had to divide it up - an impossible task. Arab Islamists had a very different view than the late 19th century Ottomans concerning equal rights of citizens - especially jews. This has been an ongoing existential threat to jews since before the writing of the Koran, and/or Hadiths, over 1500 years ago. The details of European jews buying land in the proposed Israel area prior to 1948, the "temporary" evacuation of their homes by many Arabs in the wrongful anticipation of defeating the Jewish state at it's start, and the killing of peaceful Arab land holders, trying to mind their own business in the first war, are all part of this history. Prior to the formation of Israel, In the late 30's and early 40's the formation of a German SS branch of Islamists from the Middle East to murder any and all jews in Albania and elsewhere is , also part of the history. Islam has, intermittently, been a very difficult neighbor for infidels - and that is a huge understatement. If you are true to the Koran as a Muslim it might be very difficult to compromise or be a good neighbor with any non Muslim, but that doesn't mean that many Jews and Arabs haven't been caught in the crossfire of tragedy because of their accidents of birth. This is how I have heard the story.
1) Palestinians are Semitic by race whereas the AshkeNazis are not. A lot of Israelis are being constantly antisemitic.
2) Gaza is a mix of a concentration camp and a North American first nations reservation. Rez style since '48, shower style since Oct8th.
3) 💩Srael has nukes but isn't signed to the NPT. It's quite illegal for the US to supply aid to them as they are automatically destined for mandatory Us sanctions...not impunity, ffs.

I agree with almost everything you wrote, but Britian abstained from the 1949 UN Security Council vote when Israel ws admitted into the UN, saying that Israel would not respect the principles of the UN-they were right. Israel's first attempt to join the UN in 1948 was ignored and Israel's second attempt was unsuccessful, with Canada abstaining. Britian again abstained from the General Assembly vote where Israel was accepted in 1949.

I don't know about a comprehensive list because the general public on both sides of the border is just waking up to the deception being used by these Zionist-backed sources of so-called charities. Like all police departments in Canada, the Toronto Police Service has a solve rate of zero for almost every crime. They answer to nobody, and have no oversight at all. They can't be fired for any reason, which results in police basically doing nothing at all for the public. There was a serial killer active in Toronto for ten years, and the TPS had not opened a single investigation into all the missing young men who later turned out to be victims of this killer. As we saw during the "convoy" in Ottawa, police refuse to do their jobs if their political allies are breaking the law, and provide no protection for citizens victimized by right wing extremists who have direct links to law enforcement. Isn't it disgusting that the pro-Israel lobby snaps it's fingers, and the police do their bidding, violating the rights of Canadians to please those who represent the extremist gov't of a foreign country. But the cops know who has power and the value of political activity to their "brotherhood," even though political activity by police is illegal. I thought I was as disgusted as possible with our so-called law enforcement but I was wrong. Right wing terrorists and police are part of the same rise of fascism in Canada, and ironically, domestic terrorist groups who are white supremacist and anti-Semitic all support Israel because they admire their apartheid race-based system and their genocide against Muslims.
