My concern is that while "Genocide" is an important part of this drama .. we should comprehend the motive behind why Israel is doing this to the Palestinians. From my limited POV .. it seems most people have bought into this idea that it was Hamas who attacked Israel on 10/7 .. it seems as much of a lie as saying that 9/11 was caused by Bin Laden in a cave on the other side of the world .. or saying that Iraq has WMD .. or that there is a dangerous virus afoot, masks work, or the Jab is safe and effective. Israel's de-fence on 10/7 was "asleep-on-duty" .. as there were 15 (?) places that were breeched .. and how did powered paragliders make it into the air .. when an Israeli helicopter is ready to go in 5 min. .. then to cover their asses for all the IDF bullets .. inside the dead Rave goers .. they admit to shooting their own. Do you really think that the MOSSAD is going to take credit for slaughtering their own people? It seems there is a good argument to be made that those who were supposed to be on guard duty .. are responsible for the deaths of all those Israeli's that died that day .. not HAMAS. If you want to know the motive behind the 10/7 event .. follow the money .. research the "Ben Gurion Canal Project" .. a huge rival to the Suez Canal .. and take a close look at the oil & gas reserves that have been discovered under the Gaza area. The US and Israel do not want to divide those riches with the Palestinians .. who are in the way. 10/7 was used to justify going after the people of Gaza .. in the same way as 9/11 was used to slaughter a million innocent men, women, and children in Iraq .. and many other places .. I started criticising Israel on Facebook during their murderous Operation Cast Lead in 2008. After a number of years it slowly dawned on me, and my friends, that i had been blacklisted in the corporate world.
It worked like this. Every very positive job interview process would suddenly and inexplicably come to an end when HR were at the final security check stage. In other words, they consulted their lists of blacklisted names.
McCarthyism is alive and very, very well in our digital age. It's never been easier. No explanation, no transparency, no recourse.
The result of this for me was going through a number of very difficult years raising my children, before my inability to pay my mortgage meant we were forced out of our home of 14 years.
Very sorry to hear this. It’s shocking and disgusting and this censorship and blacklisting now has been intensified. Thankfully we have this show and others. We have to all amplify people like Chris Hedges, to spread truth.

You have not thought for yourself if you are focused only on the external form of the internal dichotomy.
American workers do not carry with them a consciousness of their existence in commodity production. If they did the economic system would have been no more a long time ago. Fish are not conscious they swim in water as natural as we work in and through air in the atmosphere. Its the same with commodity production and capitalism. Producing commodities for sale is a social relation workers in every country, rich and poor, create as a power over them. Ultimately, students become the replacements of the workers of their generation. They become the creators of the power that dominates them. Never ends. Workers are taken under subjectively and bow to their own creation objectively is hardly conscious and critical thought! When the youth stop becoming the future workforce for commodity production and push to become the producers for the sake of production because that is the relation humanity has with the natural world for the majority of its time is when they have transitioned thought into Being. Who cares what we think its about what we are that is at bottom the meaning of life and all existence.
Considering that many of these “student protesters” were actively vilifying and attacking (arbitrarily) anything that they considered “white supremacy” back in 2020, I have no sympathy for them. US defamation law is too fuzzy to make that easy, as while false, defamatory public statements are slander or libel, expressions of opinion are not treated in case law as such factual claims.

honestly, when a collage or campus of a diffrent country have the students and some staff descriminating against a group of people, that is a problem, descrimination over what is happening in another country is the same as descimination against people of color, or as lately trending, white people.

So if you don't agree with a billionaires position, then you can encourage people to boycott them economically but that billionaire can't refuse to hire you because of your view. Please make this make sense either you believe that free-speech should not come with consequences or you do but they should be the same for everyone. If you can boycott, then certainly they can refuse to platform you or hire you because why should they let you use their technology or their company, and thereby enable you to harm them.

I just saw a Veshi show on msnbc that said it like it is, so it’s not everyone and every media. But the individual attacks on students are another problem. It’s pure harassment and it’s illegal.
This boycott is happening in other places around the world as well. I was just in Indonesia a few days ago, people also started boycotting certain consumer products related to US and Jewish products. Kinda feel bad for businesses that don't actually have anything to do with Israel.
I've been boycotting Israeli products for years. We need more people on board with BDS movement.
Looking at what happened in 2022 in Russia, when western companies boycotted Russia, which "weirdly" many of which major contributors to israel funding, and how Russia copped with it.
I see it as a rise of Russian economic sovereignity, where reliance toward western companies is reduced, and domestic economic power is strengthen.
That should be a good thing to happen in Indonesia when the biggest economic is not from foreign investment, but domestic SMEs.
