I generally try to limit myself to 6 volumes a month but that never happens lol. Especially, when I start reading something different and I know more volumes are out there calling to me

Being a manga and anime fan from india, It's really hard to collect manga. There are just around 10-15 shops throught india with limited manga!! I collected manga from amazon and other websites! I have around 30 now! There are some times I got pirated versions( tokyo ghoul vol 1 and uzumaki) which I realised after 6 months of purchase😂😂😂!

I normally buy a few volumes at a time, and then wait until I’ve finished those before I buy any more. That could be a few weeks, could be a few months depending on how busy I’ve been
that's a good rule to go by for buying more manga!

When I get manga, the amount I usually get a month changes based on how often I go the the book store, how many books I buy at said book store, and if I buy any online.
Everytime I go to the store I get between 2-4 volumes (though I wish I could get more, it currently isn't possible) and online I'll only get 1 or 2 at a time
Let's say I go two times this month, I'll probably only get between 4-8 overall
Now if I buy any, it'll only be 2 at most.

Riser is a good way to organize mangas but I always find it sad that the mangas on the back are like, 70% covered by the front. Then I saw some japanese youtuber putting their collection BOTH at the back and front just so the collection are not completely covered. Ex: vol 1-10 at the back, 11-20 at the front. Maybe you can try that!
I used to go manga shopping three times a month and every trip I picked up like 6-9 volumes so yeah... But now I only go once a month and only pick up like 4-5 volumes so I got from 25+ volumes to only 4-5 volumes a month so I would say I'm doing well 😂😂

I usually pick up 20 volumes a month but I'm starting to run out of space so I should probably tone it down even though I know it can't be done😅😅
i usually buy 2 volume minimal with the my on-going read list, but you know when i bought the 2 volume that i want or visiting the book store. sometimes i add extra other title as well, lol

I've put the limit on myself of about $50 a month max from my own pocket to spend on manga unless I get like a bonus at work or it's like a holiday and I have a little extra spending money or I've sold something to cover the additional spending. So what I am able to pick up varies depending on what I'm getting and what kind of deal I can get on it.

i try to get around $100 AUD but i find that im buying a boxset every week now that one piece is in stock again
How ever much I can afford after bills but generally way to much 😂like within the last few months I have grown my collection by about triple what I had and I have stuff on back order so I get manga packages almost weekly even some that were placed months ago

Got up to volume 26th of mha and i also got my first funko pop pin of himiko toga.
Also I get a lot of manga in spread out periods so I average like 0-5 volumes per month
Between 5 to 10 volumes a month
I buy 20 or 30 a month and read one a day for the month

I'd say i buy 4 volumes per month on average
Probably like 5 or 6 a month. But one month I read like 10.
Monthly sadly isn't much I try to get a few maybe 5 or 6 but sometimes none cause money 😂

I don’t really buy manga monthly. I usually only buy manga like twice a year and get like 20 volumes at a time

Yes! I've been using libib to track my collection for around 3 years now. I've never even thought of using anything else, its an elite way to track everything. The visual aspect is amazing, and it makes data entry incredibly easy.

I purchase anywhere from 25-200 volumes a month(depending on how much I make during the month as my main form of income is pretty inconsistent
for me it depends on how much i have at the time, if i get my usual of 600 a month then maybe 20 to 30 volumes (UK prices) but if i'm wanting to collect a series then i'll just get that for the month which is about 13 to 18 volumes. speaking of which i got to see if the rest of horimiya is able to be bought
Here, in Brasil, mangá is very expensive. I finaly started my colection and only could buy 2 mangás per month. But I'm very happy, indeed!
The amount of books i get a month really varies a lot, but i'd say around 10-15 + used complete series i buy every now and then. My collection just hit 1,150 volumes last month, so I guess it adds up XD

It depends on which series' volums I buy. If it is omnibus or box sets I restrict myself to small hauls. When it is singles though I buy at leadt 10 to 12 volums in one month

I look for the deals. I saw Beastars for $8 per volume on right Stuf and couldn’t say no so I bought 13-22 chainsaw man same deal 2 weeks later bought 4-11 now I have so much manga to read I’m content for a few months. I’m focusing on finishing collecting series. So no volume 1’s this year.

A couple per month, since I collect figures,statues,dvds,comics so I get a little bit of everything makes the shelf’s look cooler aswell

I just wanted to add libib has an app and if you install it you can scan barcodes through there no need for a scanner ( I have an android device not sure about apple)
For anyone curious: the Libib app on Mobile allows you to scan barcodes with your phone in case you can't get the barcode scanner 🙏🏿

I usually will buy 5 vols(doesnt matter if it is a big vol or small one) per month. Sometimes more depending on if I see multiple things I like.
I limit myself to only collecting dragon ball and berserk in physical books, so I’ll buy a a manga from those series every couple of months so I don’t completely ruin my money situation lmao
Typically 5 manga or so a month. But with deals I find in store or online,l and hard to find manga appearing out of nowhere…it’s tough to adhere to that 5 a month 😂

I actually found an app that does the same thing as the scanner! It’s very helpful for me to have it on an app on my phone because if im shopping in store I can just scan the book on my phone to see if I already have the volume! It also took me over an hour to scan all my books😅😅
It also made me a little sad to see you wanted to sell the solo leveling light novels because I absolutely love them and have been reading the volumes as they come out lol

On a normal month I find myself picking up 2-4 volumes. I'm busy with college and don't get the energy to read sometimes.. If there's a sale I might get wild and buy a big stack of manga 🥴

On another note... I personally don't like double stacking bc every spine in the collection deserves to be fully displayed.
