Thank you for putting more time into editing small little bits into the video. It makes it such a joy to watch & not the same monotonous shopping vlog!
The reason why I started appreciating the artstyle of manga is Claymore, it's my first and will always be one of my favourites! Such a good series that I can re-read it 🥰
The thinner, multicolor ranma volumes are only printed up to volume 21! So you won't be able to get a full collection unless you get the omnis or the blue singles
ah man, those hajime no ippo volumes look so nice at 10:56 . This is one of the series I wish would get printed in english. Would definitely buy in a heartbeat!
Another thing that I have to say about these blogs of yours is the amount of edits it has, from the chibi versions of you saying Ahhhhh to the voice note kind of thing when you speak, this are the things that I enjoy. Oh I picked up finally one pf the mangas that made me cry, A silent Voice, in the special editions.
One piece box set was the first manga I ever read in my life, I ordered it when I was really drunk one night and that’s how my manga journey started (I haven’t regret it yet)
I think the first manga I ever bought was Love Hina or Ranma 1/2 like 10 years ago or even more, crazy how long manga has been a big part of my life. Still love it as much as the first day I discovered it ^^
My first manga was Nisekoi. I was so hooked I binged it all in a single weekend back in high school digitally. The fact that i've never even seen a physical copy of it gets me really hyped to start collecting the series someday. Great video as always boogie snacks!
Being in a Book Off would be a dream and a nightmare combined - I know I'm going to love everything they have but can't afford much. xD edit: 18:21 Of course I made it this far! I'm always watching 'til the end. I would love to be able to visit Japan myself. I hope you're going to do vlogs?
Awesome video as always, Boogie! I think my first ever manga that I read was "Kaichou wa maid-sama", as I loved the anime. The first one I ever bought was a volume of "kamisama kiss".
I'm looking for more mangas to read so I love that I stumbled on your page! My first manga I read was last year and it's the three hard cover volumes of The Drifting Classroom: Perfect Edition by Kazuo Umezu and I loved it! I didn't like reading the voice of the kids but I couldn't see any other age group working in this! I loved the social structure issues, environmental messages and sci-fi aspect! I would gander that you have a Pokemon tatt. Idk!
Boy i wish you The best on the next year, enjoy Japan🎉🎉🎉, thanks for everything, every blog every travel, every recomendation, it was a pleasure to listened to you on this year best manga of 2022 list of Roger, you pushed me plus ultra style to seek a new pleasure, buying books. Felices fiestas
your video's always make me so happy! My first manga was tokyo ghoul too and somehow I still only have 9 volumes.. oops! I saw a lot of series I hope to start collecting too like spic and wolf and yona. Your video's always have such a cosy vibe that I love. Keep it up!
my first manga is going to be vampire knight! I already saw the anime and I have to read the mangas so I bought them! In Germany we have the "newer version" (new book cover, they have more chapter in 1 book) it's called 'Vampire Knight Pearls' but you can also buy the older versions of it.
my first manga ever collected was Fairy Tail I had the entire series but when i moved I had to sell my complete set one day I hope I'll be able to have it all again as it still is one of my favorite animes & mangas out there.
My first manga was Faeries Landing. I randomly found it on the floor at school.. it was soo ecchi that i fell in love with manga. After that i also randomly found Samurai Deeper Kyo
First manga was definitely ranma 1/2 decades ago as a kid. i didn't read more than a volume or two at my cousins house. if i include what got me into reading manga was in highschool reading one piece weekly, around the end of enies lobby/thriller bark.
Do you think you could put links to the stores you go to in the description because id like to check some of them out but sometimes I can't find them. Also my first manga was My hero academia volume 1 BUT it was the scholastic exclusive variant with a alternate cover. I got it at our local little free library (the little things people put outside their house basically just a book trading box)
links to stores (unless it's like Barnes & Noble) are always in description and in this vlog i even state the exact store name and location i got to. Happy holidays!
There's a BookOff location like 10 minutes from the neighborhood where I grew up, and I never got to go😡 I will ABSOLUTELY be checking it out next time I'm home visiting lol.
First volume I ever read was from a series called Mars from 2002. First series I collected is one im doing now called Rurouni Kenshin. I always would check out from the library but they didnt have Rurouni Kenshin. I found 1-20 for less than 5 dollars each plus a 15% discount cause it was my first time in the Book Nook near me
Was I the only one who noticed the instrumental jinglebells bells at 4:55 😂😂 Edit: I didn’t know this was uploaded on Dec 22nd when I posted this lol :)
The first manga I ever read was ether Promise Neverland or toilet bound Hanako-kun, some random kid at finals was letting us read their manga it was fun! And it got me into collecting
The first manga that I read was Dragon ball z Vizbig Vol 1. It was a nice read and I enjoy my time since it was my first series in general to get me into anime.
The first manga I've ever read was demon slayer! It made me cry,my family was worried😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 But the series I'm currently reading right now is Komi can't communicate,Tamon's B-Side,and Toilet bound hanako kun I really like Shoujo manga, and basically most manga read by teenagers! Btw,lovely video!💗💗💗💗💗💗
I've been to all at least once except Costa Mesa. That is actually the one I recommend if you are in the OC. That's because Costa Mesa is part of the original trio of Bookoffs in the area before they really expanded. There should be vids of people shopping there on youtube so you can get an idea of what that Bookoff looks like. Tsukki Notes has a vid of going to all of them. Funny enough, her top 3 was the original trio - Costa Mesa, Gardena and Torrance (relocated from Rolling Hills). While I haven't been to Costa Mesa, Gardena & Torrance are probably better than Lakewood & Westminster because of the JP community that lives in those cities and unhauls their stuff at those branches.
Got dragon ball super volume 17 volume 4 of let this grieving soul retire, assassins creed blade of shao jum and volumes 4,5,6,16,17 and 18 of one piece otw . And on the 1st im ordering one piece volumes 22,23,24 and on the 5th when i get my gst ill be ordering 25,26,27 of one piece and maybe volumes 28,29,30 of one piece. Also ended up ordering volumes 1 and 2 of chained soldier.
My first manga was my hero academia. And my collection is still growing to this day. I think I have a problem. 718 in this collection. And it's still going.
Why do your bookstores have baskets? They should have like wheeled baskets. In our bookstores, they have baskets with wheels so you wont have to carry heavy books. Very hoarder/hauler friendly ehehe
Sir I am the biggest fan of yours and I have just started to collect manga (parasyte 1 and 2 , aot 1,2,3 ) can you please give me some recommendations of manga which are short and cheap . I know I am asking for too much , but please . By the way big fan
The first manga i ever read was One Punch Man. My dad introduced the anime to me and i got the manga. I think you have got a pokémon tattoo not sure tho fingers crossed 🤞
