Wouldn't be suprised if this gets reported as a UFO sighting
Exactly
Adam sharpe And by a road to ... not a good idea as the roads these days are full of rubber neackers .
Adam sharpe lol, that is exactly what I was thinking too! Very cool stuff!
OMG I literally just came her to post "I would be surprised if noone reported a UFO sighting." I guess great minds think alike.
A brightest UFO i have ever seen.
Almost blind...
this guys end goal is to replace the sun with a giant drone like this lol
MasterTuttoo hahaha
*sets parents time from 1 AM to 8 AM* Hey wake up your all over slept and late for work the suns up you know. lol
Helicopter
MasterTuttoo yea man! i can see that! lmao
Lol. Actually looks like a tech demo for a game engine.
It's amazing how just by having the shadows move with the light source, you can make anything look like a miniature.
Good point. Our brain software works like this.
night surfing with this thing would be incredible
I can't even imagine how many ufo sightings there were that night:)
Do R/C! spaceships and space men arent real
"space ships and space men aren't real", we have both in space right now, they are humans too, and the space men are called astronauts.
they are real
Some people think you can eat sunlight, others think the earth is flat, others think nasa landed on the moon, but there is one thing similar among all these people. They are morons.
@@rich1051414 that's subtle, and creative. Not gonna spoil it for the people who didn't read it right though.
ideal for search n rescue 👍👌
Tether it to a 30m power cable? It could stay up forever and provide lighting for whatever you need to do at night. Just lock it to a GPS position.
Tigerle these are actually used extensively in search and rescue. The real limitation is that searching tends to slow down for the night because of the crew's safety. A system like this would have the ability to scan hundreds of acres a flight though!
SolarWebsite It has to lift the weight of the cable though, and as he said, it uses 1800W, so you would need some very heavy gauge cable, which would weigh hundreds of pounds.
While 1,8kW is quite a lot power indeed, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't need hundreds of pounds of cable. Using as high a voltage as possible reduces the current, and that reduces the required cable diameter. With all the LEDs in series the current would be no higher than 30 amps. If you could live with some voltage drop over the line (just start out with a higher voltage) you wouldn't need all that thick of a wire.
Flying "just" 1 kW of LEDs (which is still insane :-) ), would reduce the cable weight even more.
I think you would find 100ft of any cable capable of high current, or higher voltage loads would weigh more than the batteries would. Even if you were in the best case of 30 amps like you said, it would end up being heavier than the batteries. Plus your limited to 30m, which isn't really a whole lot, it would probably be more economical just to mount a light on a boom truck.
3:58 I don't know why I find this shot so beautiful, scary and relaxing at the same time, love it and I could watch it all night.
beautiful = trees
scary = night
relaxing = snowing
duuuude, this is dream for video makers and photographers
What a bright idea!!
Brilliant!
Airborne Images literally!
Just stop! Lol XDD
Your imagination with words is illuminating
Literally
I'd love to see footage of someone filming it at over a mile away, I bet it looks awesome from a distance too.
Green Silver UFO, right?
Green Silver I bet people from miles away saw it and started to record and called it a ufo
@@leobravo9342 if it flies and you can’t identify it, then it’s a UFO.
it's almost like in 3d modeling you can position a light source in 3d space anywhere on the fly
It's all ideas and consciousness, none of it is based in anything truly tangible. Our lives are drawings in 3d space and 5d probability space, the expression of the great artist within all of us!
liam kelly, da fuq
Some of those shots looked like timelapse shots. You could fake those now in real time! A bit of colour grading added later, voila!
the bear probably thinking "DAMN its day time already"
Those night shots are amazing!
Love the shots using the first drone configuration. The way the shadows shift on the ground cam was oddly satisfying and super dynamic. Like a time lapse but in real time.
One of the things I love about drone footage is the ability to see our wonderful world in different ways, and this sort of thing is truly groundbreaking. And you did it in the snow even! Can't wait to see more of that footage!.
Outstanding work, it's a work of art. So many different applications for it. It creates a cinematic feel with the lighting and the spruce forest behind it.
Fantastic!
Great job man! Fantastic footage, thanks for sharing.
That's dazzlingly beautiful! The way you alter the landscape so drastically is surreal, so much potential...
Reminds me of old GPU demos with the source light being moved around. So cool!!
I do so enjoy the innovative high tech contraptions you produce. Thanks as always for the inspiration. Your video production skill also do not disappoint! God Bless.
beautiful
Dude you totally need to make this into a more focused beam of light and mess with some campers!!
N0ENEMIES honestly if he makes a paper cone or cylinder on the bottom that would be scary 😂
If he puts black duct tape on the paper, then it'll COMPLETELY block off light!
Great, thinking about it more, he'd need a narrow cone...
This is one of those videos I just have a big smile on my face throughout the video.
Been subscribed for a while now, and I never thought you'd top the 1000W led.
Don't know the proper English for this; but you got a good taste for shooting and cutting the right stuff.
Thanks for yet another great video.
As a child of 8 or 9, maybe younger, I have always had this fascination of installing electricity into areas for which you would never expect to find it. The climax of which would be the sudden and unexpected illumination of a dark desolate wooded area. Immediately the dark foreboding wooded area would seem safe so illuminated while the surrounding black unlit areas all around were now the uncertain, uneasy places. Once dark places with disturbing shapes in the moonlight shadows could be oddly shaped trees or just as easily terrifying monsters. But once I brought illumination I controlled what would be what in that little spot of nowhere. I once acquired an old failing 12 volt car battery. I connected it to my dad's battery charger and charged it overnight. I can't remember how but I carried it on my bicycle about a mile or so from my home to a giant cedar tree that grew in a wooded area. With a rope I managed to hoist the battery up to the top of that cedar tree and secured it. Several buddies were with me so I wasn't alone. We all went home, had dinner then waited for the sun to go down. At dusk we got on our bikes and all met under the big tree. Two or three of us climbed up the tree and smoked cigarettes we bought at the SDI market for 50 cents a pack. Odd the computer keyboard has no (Cent Symbol) key. Typewriters always had a cent key. But, oh well. That was 45 years ago and nobody cared about kids buying cigarettes except our parents. When I finally deemed it dark I took an automobile high beam 12V headlight and two pieces of wire and connected it to the battery. UNBELIEVABLE! To us it was as if we had created light. With the light pointed down it made the tree and all its branches seem magical. To say that we were excited was the understatement of the year. After climbing down from the tree we discovered an equally magical and much larger area that we could actually see in the night. We all explored the boundaries excitedly exclaiming over and over, "wow I can see all the way over here, and here, and here."It seemed like all night but in actuality the battery started losing its charge within an hour and the light went from as bright as the sun to that of a candle. Over the years I had the honor of electrifying and illuminating many places where such a thing had never been before. I still get an inkling of that initial excitement whenever put light somewhere it hasn't been before. I would imagine you guys with the futuristic drones, space age batteries and the greatest invention in the last fifty years, the LED get a feeling similar to what I experienced. In this video looking at the snow in the trees and rock cliffs all so magnificently illuminated at night always casts everything into that of the surreal. Beautiful but otherworldly. Keep up the good work. Your path seems to be leading you toward some life saving potential applications with your lights in the sky. Power consumption and battery life are always going to be a nagging problem. I might suggest looking into using laser light from the ground directed to a receptacle on each drone as a possible means to charge while in stationary flight. Could be a way for the drones to stay aloft for hours at a time. I have seen experimental models using laser energy beamed from the ground to propel them upwards. If that can be done then surely simply charging batteries or maybe controlled release capacitors is possible. Or send electricity to the drones using something similar to a Tesla coil. There might be an issue establishing a satisfactory earth connection but I'm sure you guys will figure it out rather quickly. When you do and perfect a safe reliable and effective high power light that can be deployed almost instantly and stay aloft all night then you will all be, what they call, rich. Enjoy the ride. Wish I was there. KPE
WARPHEAD wat
Thats a "comment" section
I read through all of his "comment" *cough essay* now where's my like?
Btw it's about a fetish he has on illuminating things that we normally dark.
This could be an interesting short film in my opinion.
Michiel de Ruyter, I'm def screenshotting this shit.
spectacular, I thought it was a UFO
Amazing shots as always guys!
Wow that looks stunning.
those camera shots gave me chillz
way cooler then I expected!
I mean night time rescues this would be great
The look of the forest and stuff in that lighting is totaly amazing
This is amazing. The snow covered landscape really gives some great visuals.
This video should go viral
If I had this I would film UFO pranks 24/7
Just wow, the effect the light causes is amazing.
THE FUTURE IS HERE. I love this, great work.
Awesome work! I wish I had the resources to build stuff like this.
wow thats really awesome
You nailed it mate. Amazing idea and brilliant execution with top standard cinematography
Incredible light setup. Thanks for sharing
these videos are awesome, and the production level is super professional but I really liked the old style videos. Cool though
This video made me subscribe
Not only is the drone beautiful but the *cinematography* is beautiful too!
Those were some amazing shots! Props on the props!
The Song at 1:10 is Letter Box - Far The Days Come

Thank you!
Thank you.
nope its For cats you are away - by peace time

1 nanolion
IceBlazerGT its 1 nonillion not nanolion
1 Centillion
These shots are stunning! great job!
Nice work and a nice result of it. Congratulations! :) I think it is very good you're using this lighting for movies. It's the obvious (and productive) use of such awesome drone lighting. Keep on the good work and have fun doing it. :)
how is the solar plane coming along?
It looks like he's working on a light source for said solar plane first...
SolarWebsite haha, brilliant!
I was talking to him a little while ago. Apparently he got some new solar cells that are lighter and more powerfull, he wants to set it up so that he can endlessly slope soar
The last time I did something like this (about 2 years ago and not such power) It was just after dusk and I caused a traffic jam on the nearby road. One guy pulled up with 4 people in the car, they all got out to look at what they thought was a UFO and about 15 more cars did likewise. I very quietly landed and crept away. There was nothing in the newspaper the following day and heard no UFO reports :-)
You make the big things small. THAT'S REALY AMAZING. You did a realy realy good job, I am in love with the part that the trees appear.
What's clever about this is the movie industry can surely be interested in this concept of this lighting technique. Simply breathtaking
Going for a walk at night with this lightdrone...
Give it an Infrared camera and This would be perfect for search and rescue.
THAT WAS AWESOME AND POWERFUL.
KEEP UP THE COOL WORK
KEITH
What a great idea! Loved the B/W moving near the woods. Ultra sharp. You should feel very proud of your self. Great job!
Cattle go missing when this thing shows up.
Next time Daniels home and is asked to clear the drive of snow, we now know theres no way a shovel will be involved.
Outstanding footage! Keep up the good work!
Wow.the editing is just as impressive as the flying and the technology
How are you flying it? FPV or LOS?
I think he's flying both multirotors back and forth to do the filming so it seems los with fpv on a screen for filming only
Can you tell us what tune is between 2:45 - 4:50? Dying to blast this alone in my car
EasilyFallsForClickbait have you found it ?
Gaetan Le Singe, unfortunately no. Tried Shazam, mooma.sh which should search most databases. No luck
Not sure if you found it already or care anymore, but one of the other comments found it, the tune is "Shoulder Closures - Gunnar Olsen"
Now that's art just beautiful!
always ahead of the game man great job
*_Instructions not clear enough , reported for U.F.O and C.I.A kidnapped me!!_*
recording drone with drone
These video clips gave me goose bumps...
Excellent for search and rescue! Great video.
*Omg so much UFOs led real life!!!!!!!!*
name of the songs... anyone?
Keep up the GREAT WORK, Your videos are "AWSOME".........................I'm learning a lot just watching them!.Thanks!!
What u have done is just insane....... U are a genius!
Does anyone know the name of the songs?
3:20 rap genius says "happily chattering - various artists" but the only thing i found coincidentally was a tedxvienna talk which used it as intro music vimeo.com/191335268 or /watch?v=_98m4Vod6_8
Letter Box - Far The Days Come
With such bright LEDs how do you judge its orientation?
PAWAN V easy. its the camera that cant keep up :)
PAWAN V drone headless mode I'm guessing
this is literally satisfying to watch
I'm amazed about the earths beauty when it is dark... This videos is so cool

this is so beautiful to look at
That is about the coolest system I have seen you build yet
Brilliant and I don't just mean the light
Keep up the great work
2:50 music please:)
Imagine if cops are out of cash and use this instead of helicopter to spot a criminal😂
Sahil 123 It would probably be more safe.
Helicopters are friggin expensive. $2,000 per hour and up. I have no idea why they are still being used as much as they are with the state of drone tech.
This would make some amazing night skiing shots!
It almost feels like you shot realistic models in a dark room and just moved the light around the subject. It made the rock and the buildings look like a small scale model to me. Great job!
Drone lighting is the secret sauce. Well done, guys.
What a great footage!
My eyes melted from the bright lights, but I still liked the video. Well done!
Super epic shots!
Stoked. Looking forward to seeing some footage.
these shots are so sick
wow, amazing shots !
These look spectacular
awesome! looks like a timelapse with the sun/moon moving!
Such incredible footage :O
