You can reasonably expect this to happen after so many opportunities for it to.
For the top 128 onwards, it would be nice if you can include a preview or snippet of the bracket, especially in future rounds to inform the audience who each player defeated to get to this point. Will help create narratives for the audience to follow

This is some sort of state that's like being Sane but the opposite, some sort of state where its opposite or opposed to the norm this is whatever that is
In the last game, there was around a 46% chance for suicune to get two hits through flinch or hit and crit once, and not get crit itself, assuming 1/16 crit chances, and that a crit surf would OHKO. (0.7 * (15/16))^2 *15/16+ 0.7* * (1/16) + 0.3* 0.7 * (15/16)^2 * (1/16)≈0.4590 Suicune xan win on the first tuen if it avoids flinching and and crits, which happens ≈0.0437 of the time. It can win one the second turn if it got a hit off on both turns or if it got one critical hit the second turn after getting flinched once, in both cases it needs to not get critically hit itself on both turns.
@@dietmarachleitner9319 the 0.7 is the 70% chance to not get flinched. That said, I forgot about rock slide accuracy, so it's actually only 27% chance to flinch. 0.73^2 = 0.5329, so a 53% chance to not get flinched. Still pretty much a 50/50
Spoiler alert : . . . . . . . . . . . . In game 3, neisuneiche ran out of Rock resists. This is why Poliwrath is the superior water. I'd pick it 11/10 times over Suicune. Also, Poliwrath's mere presence is enough to dramatically alter the game's rng.

Just realized that I forgot about rockslide missing, which makes aero's chances of winning significantly lower.
Aero has a 0.7584 chance of killing suicine before suicune's 3rd turn.

Aero flinch chance in game 3 was a 50/50. Rock slide has a 30% flinch, 2 chances = 0.7^2 which is 49% to not get flinched.
0.7*0.7 = 0.49% to flinch
