Biodiversity of Jalthal Forest

This documentary highlights the ecological and social significance of Jalthal forest. Jalthal forest is a fragment of once lush, dense and continuous forest of southern lowland of Nepal known as Charkoshe jhadi. ForestAction Nepal is implementing a project aimed at restoring the forest and conserving biodiversity by engaging local people. The Darwin Initiative UK supported project is being implemented in collaboration with Federation of Community Forest User Groups Nepal (FECOFUN), Kathmandu Forestry College (KAFCOL) and Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) UK.
