What jeep should I paint next? SAS Jeep or US 82nd Armored Jeep 😉 Also I made a mistake in my intro. It's a 181st Airlanding Ambulance Jeep ... not 101st 😅

Hahaha no Lidl in Western Australia unfortunately BUT my LGS sells them for a very fair price so I always end up with a kit. I've got another 4/5 boxsets to build yet which will feature in other videos 🤣 Thanks mate!
A really nice job, I think that Airfix should make some conversion boxes for its Jeep, such as one for the SAS version or the Para 's one, with add ons & figures, probabilly these sets would sell well. P.s. didn't these jeeps had a metal bar on the front, to rip off cables placed in middle of the streets ?
Thanks a lot mate 👍 🤩 I completely agree, I wonder why they didn't release more variants of the jeep 🤔 they have the base so it really wouldn't have been difficult. I don't believe the 1st Airborne had those metal bars but I could be wrong. I guess being Airborne and having the element of surprise the risk of the enemy having time to place cables along roads would've have been likely? I'll double check to confirm though!

Sorry for the delayed reply, for some reason YT held the comment for review. Thanks for the information, it's really helpful and interested.
The AB minis really compliment those fine looking jeeps.
I couldn't agree more 🤩
Thanks for the shout out, awesome painting/building, a level to strive for.
Any time! Thanks again for supplying me the parts to get these done. I really appreciate it 🤩
Good to see your painting technique!
Thank you! 😊
Superb work Kris 👏 👌 👍 So glad that you connected with Dan, he is a top bloke.
Thanks a lot mate, I love seeing your comments 🤩 he is bloody awesome isn't he? What an awesome bloke for the community!
Airborne of any nation is always welcome !
Haha OK, I'm on it 😅
enjoying this. got more in the stash. I used SHQ IIRC figures and stowage on mine
That's awesome mate 🤩 I wanted to try some SHQ jeeps but I've had 0 luck getting in contact with Grubby 😔
Very nice mate, keep these coming!
Thanks as always buddy, plenty more coming 🤩
Hmmm, three sets of the Jeep kit? Think someone's been to Lidl....!
Nice builds 😊

@@paintingpanzers Obviously thrown by the accent - the absence of rain lashing the windows should have been clue I suppose....!
Haha well in fairness my accent is a mix of English and Australian - I moved from Leicester in 2006 when I was 14!
@@paintingpanzers Surely you mean "escaped" ?!!!! Lol
@jeffholt9437 lol definitely mate. What's happening to the the UK?!
Great to see how well the AB Figures fit into these 1/72nd scale models.
They're a lovely fit with these jeeps 😍
More an aircraft modeller but I bought this a few weeks ago so will definitely use your video for inspiration.
Fantastic stuff mate 👏 I'm chuffed you've found this video useful and I look forward to seeing how yours turn out!
0:24 seconds in. The driver. That's Anthony Hopkins that is. So got The Bridge too far vibe. Lovely stuff dude!
Haha thanks mate, you're not the first one to say that 🤩
Love it. Pretty cool
Thanks! I'm glad you like it 🤩
Always very good tutorials very easy to follow and your results are excellent great work my friend
That really does mean a lot, thank you mate 🤩
Such a great tutorial mate
Thanks a lot mate. I really enjoyed putting this one together!
Great result.
Is it just my imagination or did I read that at least some Jeeps for the british were made reight stearing?
Thanks a lot buddy 🤩 I'm not sure about that, it sounds very plausible...

I think you mentioned brushes in the video. do you use a particular set/brand?
Yes mate :) I have a video on the paint brush I use but it's a Rosemary and Co Kolinsky Sable size 0 :)
Can you please advise were you got the figures from - they make an excellent addition to the jeeps.
Hi 👋 I mentioned it around 2/3 minute mark but they're from AB Figures 🤩 link in the description 🙌
I done 2 of the kits so far, but the most disappointing is no driver included 😪😪😪
Yeah, the lack of crew is frustrating but the AB Figures welll and truly make up for it 🤩
