It's amazing how popular The Ventures are in Japan, instrumental music has no language barriers and they sold millions of records there and also were the only group to win musical awards in Japan that were not from that country. Thanks for posting this gem!!
They are all gone now and there are none to replace them now in America . Japan now its up to you to carry the Mantle . And I see that there are a whole lot of very good guitarist over there .
Bob Bogle (1934-2009) = bass guitar Mel Taylor (1933-1996) = drums Don Wilson (1933-2022) = rhythm guitar Gerry McGee (1937-2019) = lead guitar The Ventures live in Japan in 1990

Long live The Ventures music!
ベンチャーズはノーキーだけでなく、ジェリーの技術のスゴさも評価してほしい‼️
むしろ私はベンチャーズはジェリーさんしか生で見たことないですのでジェリー派です。でもノーキーさんも好き。

@torbenretboll2841....................what about Nokie Edward !!!!! 👈
@jayantaroy1110 Nokie Edwards played with the Ventures, but sometimes he was replaced by Gerry McGee.
These are just beautiful songs and made that way by the Gerry's awesome talent.
輕鬆自在好聽
みんなこの世にいないなんて。さようならベンチャーズ😢
What is the source of this video performance? DVD, Off-air television?
I can answer my own question - The Ventures Live In Japan 1990 (commercial DVD release) - recorded on September 9th at the Matsudo Shiminkaikan Hall.
👏👏👏
Japanese certainly contributed to a lot of their income... Just sayin'...
The Ventures wasa bussiness
Long live the Ventures music!
