- Long story short... Watch the video! I traded my 2024 Mustang GT with Performance Package for another Ford Mustang. Trust me, there is a valid reason for it lol. There still is literally no reason to upgrade to a 2024 if you have a gen 3 until tuning is unlocked. If it ever gets unlocked.

If you haven't done the Steeda adjustable endlinks with those bmr sway bars... It handles better then the factory...now since you don't have magna ride you can equalize the handling on all four corners... I know you will be using the BMR stop the hop stuff. Mine handle great with all the other stuff... Even an aftermarket front strut brace and k member brace... These cars handle well. That takes a lot of the float the cars comes with...changes the steering feel a bit in a good way

Brakes aren't rotational mass. Rotor is, but almost the same size between the two.
If you don't like the grill pony color, but don't want black.....Get the Darkhorse grey pony.

I'm Big fan of those factory Ford rims, but the New rims and tire package improves the performance look. On a positive note. Staying with the New S650 GT allows you to move parts between Mustangs.

Great choice in wheels man! These are by far one of my favorite design up there with their SP2, but the titanium graphite is probably the best wheel color they’ve released! Excited to see what you do with the car. I bought a base GT 10 speed also and opted out of the PP cause I knew I’d spend all that money changing everything as well. So wasn’t worth paying the extra 5K to just change it all.

How would you compare new car ride quality and handling to previous PP car before you modified it? I am curious if PP is worth extra cost.
I just did BMR handling springs and Ford Performance track shocks and struts and BMR sway bars and it’s definitely better than OEM PP

Hell yeah! Big difference from when I saw it in person last. Those choice of wheels were a good call. I think they compliment the car well with the carbon exterior pieces you put on from the red car. I think these wheels actually flow better than the other SVE wheels you had on the red car. Steering wheel looking 👌also. Looking forward to see what you do with the suspension on this one.

I just found out that when you go with the Whipple 3.0 Gen 6 that Whipple just came up with a new tune, (their 2nd version of their tune) and this tune actually improves the smoothness and speed of the
10R80!!!! Derek (DBP Squad) shared this over the weekend. Whipple sent him their second version of the tune.

Steeda recently came out with their Carbon Fiber air tubes which showed 5 RWH & 5 Torque plus up. Remember you also gain 3 & 4 by removing the carbon filters so going from Ford stock to the Steeda CF you get 8 &9 RWH increase.

I feel like the 5.0 is underpowered for the weight of the car. It almost has to be boosted. The performance pack isn't the best car for that. I think you made the right call. Although, I would prefer a manual. Actually, I would prefer an S650 GT350 to be honest.

I have a stage three Roush Mustang that I dearly love and I have a Ford Explorer ST I’m a Ford guy through and through what I hate about Ford is the techs very unprofessional hacks. Most are half asses. All they do is half ass everything that they touch! I recently had my explorer. I gave the service rider $100 tip told him make sure everything is done properly when I got my car home and I want to change the oil. I saw all the missing pieces and parts and hardware under my car flopping in the windwhen I called them back to complain they said they were simply sorry that was this is not the first time this has happened at four I tried four different dealers. They always have some mechanic that doesn’t half ass doesn’t put things back the way they’re supposed to. I’m sick and tired of bored. Now I think I understand why people pay extra for an expensive car.

Pretty sure rotational mass refers to things that actually rotate...last I checked brakes are stationary and don't contribute.
Brake rotors rotate. Calipers don’t. But the rotor size difference is rotational mass to some degree

@Zander13Productions bro I honestly don't know why anyone wants to buy a manual Mustang anymore. The way these 10R80 Mustangs hit are so much faster than the manual trans, especially boosted. It will have to be something really special for me to get rid of my procharged S550. The way it's tuned and how hard it hits changing gears is ridiculous lol
@@11B_GRUNTthe autos are boring, yeah they are quick and make for a nice cruiser but thats about it. Plus the paddle shifters have like a delay so if you try and shift at say 4k rpm it wont shift until 4300-4400. I have a 24 gt with the a10 that i sold my sti for. Every time i drive it i miss shifting my own gears.
@lucian7182 my 10R80 shifts super fast, I also have it tuned too so there's no delay in my shifting when I use the peddle shifters. I had a manual and I traded it in for the 10R80 and Im much more satisfied with it. Definitely faster and for me it's still fun to drive, its procharged

There is NO WAY you saved money buy getting rid of the red car and getting the black car. The performance package doesn't add that much money a month to the cost of the car compared to the money you lose trading in your car every year. Just admit you have an addiction to getting a new car every year and it wouldn't sound so crazy. Listen I was in that same trap. had a 2013, 2015, 2018 etc... I always wanted the new one or a different packaged one it becomes a nasty habit lol.
