Are you kidding, 90% of the cast don't have a ridiculous throw as powerful as ness' where you can just die at like 70 even with good DI.
I still praise him to this day. Reason why I used Ryu in smash 4 and ultimate.
Same here man! IMO the best Ryu to have done it. Maybe not placement wise etc. But when Trela was on he was neigh unstoppable.
Btw, is has Trela won any major competitions with Ryu?
I would like to see him or Hooded go up against ZeRo's Shiek.
I play Ryu also and while I was on For Glory, this Shiek player gave me a very hard time.. but maybe that was because I was on 3ds and wifi input lag. Im not as good as Trela or Hooded with Ryu, but given the chance I own a WiiU I think I could whip up a small storm :D

I would really love to learn Ryu but I cannot find any resources on how to REALLY learn Ryu. Like suggested control scheme, how people do Down tilt to true Shoryuken so fast and instant. Which version of true shoryuken do they use and how? Please, I would be thankful if anyone would point me to where I may find resources like this. Thank you!

Do Ryu players even have a special button mapped?
logmouth Usually they have C stick put to tilts. True inputting any of Ryu's commands doesn't require the special button, you can use the regular attack button too.
