older models locking mecahnism wass far better. they called as gsr 10.8 but they are technically has same voltage. its just a naming trick. 10.8 versions bit lock was push out not push in. so holding the bit with your palm and pull lock with your finger and bit was off. but now you have to push the lock ring inward and pull the bit outward to remove the bit which is absurd. also on 10.8 just pushing bit will lock it in withoud pulling the lock ring. but on 12v models you have to push lock ring to put bit in or else it wont gona get in.
What market is this model available in? Like Americas or Europe? Is it the same as the 300HX?
