  • We demonstrate how to assemble the EZ Flow Ramp Flume. A ramp flume, like other flumes, is used to measure the rate of flow in a water channel, and is typically used for irrigation flow measurement.

We have to of the EZ-Flume (Nu-way) flumes in our ditches of the 7 CFS size for ditches with 3 CFS and 2 CFS water rights that are working well. We have another location that is a 1/2 CFS water right - do you have any suggestions?
We have switched from the ditch approach to pumping with a collection of ram pumps at the above location. Pump meters are expensive and probably won't work with our low pressure low volume pumps anyway. The only thing I've been able to dream up is to first measure the output from the stream with a flume and then drop the water into the drive pipes for the pumps. There are a lot of ditch water rights in Colorado less than 1 CFS and measuring devices are being required on all ditches - any suggestions?
