This video is so great. Thank you. I love how clear and comprehensive you are, even giving the oven temperature in Celsius as well as Farenheit. I'm subscribing!
Just subscribed! Thank you very much for your clear video and will try it out as soon as possible! Really glad to be able to make my own healthy version of almond/cashew/peanut butter....! My food processor seems pretty small, hope it works.
+tunisian-in-Germany peaceful Muslim Hello, you can use any nut or combination of nuts that you like, such as hazelnuts, pecan nuts, walnuts and of course, peanuts! Let me know how you get on and thank you for commenting.
Great video and I like the idea of mixing cashews with almonds! my question is, I made an almond butter plain with no salt or and just a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract(liquid), and the taste was not pleasant. it wasn't bad but it just didn't have a delicious sweet taste. Any tips you can offer? Thank you!
Hello 👋what will make this (or any nut butter) go off, is if the oil in the nuts becomes rancid. Heat makes oil become rancid more quickly so as you live in Cario (such an interesting city but one which has always been a tad warm whenever I've visited), I would store the nut butter in the fridge. It should keep for up to 2 months in the cool of the fridge but ours has always been eaten way before that time. Also, make sure you use a sterilised jar and lid. Hope that helps 🙃
Yes, absolutely, it would be delicious! Add the coconut oil to the nuts before you roast them, whilst add the honey at the end of making the nut butter to your taste and sweetness preference, then just pulse the food processor to combine.
It depends ,it can take an hour or 40 mins your mostly spending time scraping and letting the machine rest and cool off so it doesn't burn the engine ,but let me tell you it's worth the wait
Hi I. Made for the first time and it was very sticky I made it in a mixer grinder and grind it for 8-9 min the consistency was same as yours but very sticky what mistake did I make please help thanks for the recipe.
You didn't do anything wrong, homemade nut butter is much thicker than shop-bought nut butter. If you want a looser mix, beat in a little vegetable or nut oil, 1 teaspoon at a time until you achieve the consistency you're looking for. Hope that helps!
+adrianagarayh Hi, this video was made using my KitchenAid Food Processor and I do have to give mine a couple of rests during the processing, but keep watching as I am currently testing a new (to me) blender and will be posting a full review on how it copes with soups, nut butters, green smoothies and vegetable purée.
+Juan Gonzalez yes, absolutely, it would be delicious! Add the honey at the end to your taste and sweetness preference, then just pulse the food processor to combine.

Milly White Cooks thank you for your answer 😊😊 walnuts are good for hair thus is why I want to use it as butter for sets and toasts
😊 best wishes

Anil Ramnath honey and any type of nut oil
Add some honey or sugar ,remember vanilla is not sweet it's a flavoring spice type ingredient
I would try without the skin? It could make it bitter
Will Raisins turn into paste too?... If we simply blend it.
How long can I keep it out of the fridge or inside the fridge
thanks 💐

Milly White Cooks so if kept in a cool dry cupboard it should be fine then? Because i've only store bought nut butters before.

Folks, you want to soak and dehydrate raw nuts first to remove phytic acid.
CmaxEnergi isnt phytic good?
so your telling me - I just need to blend nuts togeather to make peanut butter! :') where did the "Butter" part go -How ironic!
+John McCrudden you "butter" believe it!
It just merges with fat...
Exactly how much time is it gonna take?
It depends ,it can take an hour or 40 mins your mostly spending time scraping and letting the machine rest and cool off so it doesn't burn the engine ,but let me tell you it's worth the wait
