I have the black strider with the safety and it is my first every pro tech, but sure not the last! Already in love with it and it snaps out craazy fast

I like Protech too I have owned many, I took a brend and a monty carlo appart because they both had the same problem ,severe crunching and they will just barely open, the button had the same burr on both knives .One knife was made 10 years ago and one made winter of 18.So aparently they have ignored the problem as it is still a problem. I dont think they have quality control. Both knives had rust .
Microtech made a knife called the MTX like the pro tech magic whiskers it had a hidden bolster and could be opened with the thumb stud...now they are discontinued and cost alot to get one..that is if you can find one

I just bought a protec godson in purple handle I would so 100time love it if it came with black coated blade but it still work's I can't wait to start adding to my edc will it replace my para military????????? I don't know yet time will only tell

pavlos S. I'm guessing you're really really new because an American made knife for under $200 AND auto is a pretty good deal, but if you don't care where they're made and you want some really cheap high quality knives check out ganzo. They make amazing knives for the price
Is that a Benchmade Ben busts out at the 3:54 mark? All those knives at his disposal, and he carries the Benchmade. While heaping praise on the Protech. Says a lot. Unless he just carries a different knife every day, or carries them for evaluation purposes.

There knives are awesome but there customer service is pretty bad I've sent a knife in for repair in may and now it's almost July. Still no word. :(
Most repairs take over a month, and if you sent it in June they were busy getting ready for Blade in Atlanta
