I started using it in 2013 when I met a detailer who Opti-Coated my car and recommended ONR for waterless car wash. It's an amazing product and always recommend it hands-down. I use a battery-powered sprayer to rinse and dry the car panel by panel.

10 or 11 years ago. Tried a few of the newer ones in the smaller sizes "just to see", some smell nice, some are pretty good, some are slick, but I have never ultimately bought a gallon of any of them after trying them out. The King has the advantage of already sitting on the throne, so by the time the competition knocks on the door Dr G has some new tricks up his sleeve and he sends the peasants away scratching their heads. ONR is the Industry Standard

Started using ONR THIS YEAR (2024)! Also using ONR Wash And Wax. Love the products and they are SO easy to use. I wish I had discovered ONR YEARS ago, but nonetheless, I am glad I finally did.

I started using ONR around 2009, when the area I live in went through a drought and was water use restricted. I've never looked back from the hose/soap slavery. I've used the videos from the TRC and Ivan to fine tune my rinseless technique, and always check out the latest video on the subject, one never knows... I was nice to see Dr. G give a prepared comment on his background and ONR history, it needed to be "refreshed" in everyone's minds, with all the new rinseless products on the market. Great video!!!

It will be ten years of being an ONR user.
I haven't bought shampoo since, and I'm almost exclusively using Optimum products.
From the newly revised Hyper Compound V5, which has better cut and finishes mar free, and the famous Hyper Polish, to their Car Wax, Opti Seal, Hyper Seal, and Gloss Coat.
I had been using Meguiar's since 1996, and while they still hold a special place in my heart, Optimum has been a game changer for me, and ONR is the backbone of the entire system.
    Great to see Levi again!
    Thank you guys for this.

I remember those videos with Levi and Yvan and thought I would give it a try. I went back and watched those videos many times. It helped me launch my mobile business and sustained it until I started a new career. ONR washes in freezing temperatures and in blaring sun. Truly a game changer. I still use it on my personal vehicles and home today. Thanks Levi, TRC, Yvan and DR. G

I found the Detailing World forum here in the UK in early 2006 and not long after, ONR. I will always have a bottle in my garage and not only do I swear by it for car cleaning but my wife and I also use it around the house for many tasks. I have a few other rinseless washes but funnily enough when I’m washing rinseless a car that’s a little on the dirtier side, it’s always ONR that I reach for. That says it all. I remember very well Ivan and Levi cleaning the blue Cobra with ONR and their method is what I use exactly as demo’d.

I came from offroad and truck i never cared for the paint. When i bought my first shiny family car, 2016 chevy ss, i wanted to care for the paint but washing at my house would definitely induce scratches since i get granite silt in my water even with a filter. I buy a couple of $1 jugs of distilled water and wash the car with it and still have water left over. ONR is great stuff!

  • @EricRoz

I can attest to the effectiveness of ONR having used versions 3,4 & 5. The encapsulation technology is far ahead of any competitor (even Hero, DIY in my use). Yes ONR may not be the most slick but I have never once scratched paint using it with proper technique and UBS or other wash sponges (releases dirt with sponges, microfibre not so much.) ONR simply works with no annoying gimmicks or drawbacks. Personally I like that the bucket solution remains far cleaner with ONR. With my insanely hard water, it does not leave hard water spots even when left out in the sun, cleans interiors wonderfully, leaves minimal solution and most importantly is safe and economical. Recent tests/comparisons done by truly unbiased parties (not sponsored or have a relationship with certain companies) have shown ONR works effectively without any flash. A lot of products in the marketplace are highly marketed white labeled with a higher price tag that may be “more slick to the touch” but ultimately may not perform as well in areas that I feel are more important. Not trying to say all other products are garbage cause I enjoy using certain others (Hero mainly, DIY has its strengths too). Just tired of all this marketing hype and BS reviews with white labeled products.

I've been thinking about this for a while and think you just nailed it. I've used products that feel nicer, or feel more slick, but the actual cleaning isn't as good.
I think as detailers we get lost in the sauce really easy and need to remember we aren't immune from gimmicks and amazing fragrances, and remember sometimes it's actually about cleaning 😂

What you're showing in the comparesson, is not encapsulation of the dirt.
On the other hand, rinseless is really a great way to go.
I'm using it now for 9 years....it works.

Well, on 1993 the first Rinseless was Quick & Easy Wash started before ONR, so Protect All was before Optimum. I remember that because on 1994 my uncles used it first in Puerto Rico, right the year I had my civil marriage and bought my first house. I imagine Yvan knows about that too.

As much as I like the other rinseless washes you carry (and even some you don't), ONR still is the King. Every other rinseless wash on the market is standing on ONR's shoulders and likely wouldn't have existed without it. It is the benchmark for a reason. While some may cast it aside in favor of some other newcomers, every time I go back to it I fall back in love with those chemical berries. ONR will always have a place in my garage.
Can't wait to see what you guys have to say about FOamNR, it looks like a winner to me so far!

    • @jeffc6832
      @jeffc6832 16 дней назад

@@tt-rs1457it's simply the product I've used the most for the longest...I know exactly how it works and what to expect from it. Prior to when Absolute came out in 2022, no one else could really compete with ONR. Since then, the market has exploded and improved greatly. So even though I like a lot of the new ones, ONR is still a reliable old friend.

It’s crazy to see this video! I remember back in 2017 watching all the old “DeTalks” videos with Yvan, Levi, and the Junkman- those snippets were nostalgic and this videos were what got me into OPT/rinseless, detailing, and more! ONR has helped me grow from an enthusiast trying to take care of my own vehicle to a part time professional installing coatings and paint correction. Last week was 8 years of using ONR- I’ve hated the few times I ever used soap, there is simply no replacement to ONR and can’t fathom using anything else. It’s a staple at home for cleaning and I always carry an 8oz bottle in the car whenever I’m out and about. It truly has been a game changing product. ONRWW is my go to maintenance wash solution, Opti-Coat No Rinse for coating maintenance, and Hyper for pre foaming or a little dash in ONR bucket when the car is particularly oily.

Been using Rinseless washing with ONR since 2016. Use a combination of the Big Red Sponge Big Yellow Sponge and Kamikaze Sponge . Finish with Optiseal with Double Twistress Towel in Summer Optimum Waffle weave towel in Winter.
Discovered ONR via Rag Company video.
Haven't used soap since 2016 . Im a DIY enthusiast. My Garage is a complete Rinseless wash set up.
Tried the others but they are Marketing hype.
    ONR is the King
    Cheers from Sydney Australia

Merry Christmas!! I am a weekend enthusiast that just got back into detailing this past year. I haven’t used ONR, but have 4 other brands on my shelf to use as of right now. So far my Favorite is CLEAN by Pan. I use rinseless only if the cars don’t require a full pre rinse. Would be cool to see how these work on the molecular level to make some of us more comfortable using it on really dirty cars 😀
Enjoying my new complete towel collection by the way…my family laughs but I enjoy 😂

Personally, I use ONR and Soap, depend on the weather outside and how much the car is dirty. The rinseless rabbit hole all started with the 2020 TRC Black Friday sale. It took awhile to convert, but when it happened, traditional car washing became less. I loved it so much that I bought too much of it so it took me a longer than I anticipated before I could try out Absolute, which I find is another versatile product like ONR. For car washing though, ADS Hero has become my favorite. Hopefully soon my bottle of RRW will make it to the detail stage and experience that product!
