2 things I didn’t mention in the video, ASBL dimming and input lag.
    1) ASBL I didn’t see a being a factor in HDR I did a 7 minute dimming test in game mode and I didn’t notice a change in UI brightness. In SDR it does gradually decrease brightness but it isn’t too noticeable unless you go looking or your sensitive to this. I don’t see ASBL being any different than other QD OLED tv’s in the past for HDR.
    2) Input lag is not a problem yes numbers are higher but unless you’re a competitive pro gamer on the pro circuit I wouldn’t even bother being concerned about it. It’s 16 ms in 60 about 8-9 in 120 this is fine for gaming latency, it’s not going to feel any different than any other TV realistically, I’ve tested it back with the A80J vs C1 and came to the same conclusion.
    Hope these answers help.

KG Remeber to let users know of the auto dimming issue in gaming for Sony tvs. This is something that should be addressed for any gamer buying Sony tvs. Sony still does not include a turn off option for the logo auto dimming which affects any games with health bars or icons. You can't go wrong with the S90C as well. I have both the A80J plus S95B and love them off. I'm not looking to upgrade these until next year or two as I want TV tech to mature a little more to invest in a big purchase again.

Of course this TV is great for Gaming as well. :P I think it is overblown to split "Pro" and "Casual" only because of some numbers on paper or some "Enhancers" which hurts the picture quality. The biggest advantage on the Sony is the much mre accurate Picture in Game Mode out of the box, which makes a way bigger difference imo. Because you see the Game how it was created. Which can make a difference in puzzles, details and so on.
Imo Sony goes in the right direction with SDR Game Mode. Many people don´t "like" HDR and find it too dim, because they never saw a good picture. And they have no no idea what dynamic range is. They got used to wrong and overblown colors and brightness (at the end a flat picture). Sony stays in the SDR range for SDR. On top of that you avoid Burn In problems over long term. It only takes some time for our brain and eyes to get used to an accurate image.

Hey H2O, unfortunately the Sony TVs don't have low latency motion interpolation options you have to be outside of game mode to use motion settings (aside from BFI) and when your outside game mode using the motion interpolation this adds massive input latency. Your best bet for this is Samsung game motion plus as it is currently the only way to truly get low latency along with motion interpolation from consumer TVs, hope this helps!

Its 16 ms in 60hz and 8 in 120hz I didn't talk about it because I don't think many will notice or feel a difference between a Samsung and LG with lower input latency & to me its an overblown concern that only really competitive gamers should be worried about. I tested two TVs side by side switching between deaths and I didn't feel like the lower input latency was helping me and when slowing video footage down theres no noticeable frame difference either.

A95L can't do Black Frame Insertion at 120hz. Also most OLEDs lose a lot of brightness when enabling BFI. But my X95K and likely X95L only loses about 50 nit when enabling Clearness 1 aka BFI which is almost imperceptible, AND they can do 120hz or 100hz BFI depending on the desktop refresh rate, also X95L supposedly can also do 60hz BFI which is good. I LOVE playing all types of side scrolling games on my PC now as long as the run at 120fps which is easy on my RTX 4090 because they remain sharp in panning motion thanks to the BFI. Also it's equally bright in SDR as in HDR. While I would live to have the local pixel contrast that OLED offers, I want my BFI and SDR without brightness drop. I guess we'll have to wait another couple of years before moving on from my 85" miniLED.
