Does this people even listen to what he's saying? He said he wants to give you a little history about his playing and who he is, so stop fucking commenting that he needs to shut up and play because he was clear at the beginning of the video on what he was gonna do first. Thank you. Chris... Such a great person/musician.

Chris came to my band's Megadeth tribute night in Cork, Ireland recently. I literally shat my pants when I saw him, but what's more is that I had to get up on stage and play most of the lead parts that he was gonna be playing the night afterwards haha. Then on top of that, while we were playing, the rest of Megadeth arrived. Talk about pressure!!!

... so nice to see a guitarist that is not full of himself, and did not change doing what he likes ... the greatest thing about Chris is his character, and is what you ideally try to achieve in your career, and many never realize that's more important than being a big hot shot in the music field :) so, with such healthy character it does not matter what you will be doing, it will be always great :)

He truly loves the guitar, you can tell from his desire to master anything associated with it, be it classical/metal/everything in between. There are a lot more people who simply love a single stilted portion of an artistic discipline, rather than the discipline itself, and everything under it. I admire and sympathize with his love of skill.

in my book, Boderick is one of those rare 7-string players who use it right in metal music. down tuning 7th string to low A just to get big chucks out of it is so not my thing.

It's a nice coincidence that Malmsteen's rise to fame was at the same period that he was into classical music to kind of to be able to interconnect his both passions. Apart from that, I can relate to all Broderick's talking about and I'm happy that he replaced Drover in Megadeth. He loves music and guitars against all those genre-lovers and I appreciate that a lot!
