We aren’t rich but there is something called karma. Treat other peoples children like your own. No harm done to any child. No matter how rich or poor, weird or not weird, healthy or not, or no matter what race. If everyone did this, then a child about to break down might be saved. This planet earth is large enough for all of us. It’s easier said than done. It is stressful for children growing up especially with all the social media, school shootings, Covid, isolation and etc.

The Puckle Gun patented in 1718... "The Puckle gun firing mechanism is similar to a conventional flintlock musket. After each shot, a crank on the rear of the threaded shaft that runs through the cylinder is turned, allowing the cylinder to be rotated by hand to the next chamber." sounds a bit like the early works of a gatling gun to me....

I’m standing by for all the people of uvalde who lost their children last year. I want my young cousins to be safe in school and if something like this happens that would make me sad and angry.
Then your cousin needs to go to a school high profile actors and elected officials send their kids too, cause no one is shooting up those places.

He got airtime for living somewhere until he was 11. Playing no part in the community until after a tragedy, he's now "speaking out" on processes, ownership, and responsibility he's never dealt with first hand.
Someone with a platform is crucial to the GVP movement since our politicians in Texas refuse to make any sensible changes to our laws. Additionally, Matthew McConaughey has been apart of the GVP movement for a while now. I attended an event in my hometown after a mass shooting occurred and he was present.
What was the event called? 2 sensible changes were made in Texas this year after Uvalde. What additional measures would you like to see enacted?

Personally, I would like to see universal background checks, an age raise to 21 in order to purchase long guns, and mandatory courses for those who wish to carry. HB 1927 completely ignores the importance of training by allowing individuals to carry without a LTC. In my opinion, that isn’t sensible legislation, granted, it was passed in 2021.
@@sarahronda-mendoza2802 it’s sensible when you contextualize that personal gun ownership is limited to pistol, rifle and shotgun. Anything beyond was heavily restricted in 1986. Rifles and shotguns cannot be carried in any state unless unloaded. Age 18 for all things considering that’s what constitutes an adult legally; otherwise, raise the age for military service and all things parallel. Make anyone under 21 a juvenile. Continue private sales since it’s a legitimate industry and any sale prior to a crime is investigated as a coconspirator. Social services created to support courses, permitting and licensing so it’s free for any citizen to receive training for any weapon. Effectively putting all weapons back on the market. Elective courses available earlier with accreditation as part of secondary education and college. Making more people more knowledgeable and more responsible.

I’m with you, guns are for people with a blood lust… if as a gun owner you start out thinking responsibly, you will eventually begin to imagine shooting someone to defend yourself. So every trip to the gun range and pull of the trigger releases adrenaline that feeds the addiction and irrational defense for owning a gun. You become part of a mental and physical feedback loop.

I was referring to grants going to our public schools, so that bureaucrats don’t milk it to their benefit. As far as rights and guns go I got a lot of them and they are not going to hurt anyone that isn’t crazy enough to try to take them.
