In this video I just wanted to give you some tips to choose the best dance shoes for you. If you dance Latin or Standard, if you are a teacher or a dancer, if you need more support or more flexibility from your shoes. All this aspects are important when it comes to choose the right shoes.

@@planet_69 hi! Well, if you use normal shoes, maybe sneakers, with rubber sole, for sure you will find difficult to spin. Dance shoes have this leather sole that helps to find the perfect balance grip

Для вас конечно это большая тема, не так легко сделать видео 😂 контур, слим, клёш, поменьше, побольше, носок узкий или круглый, с резинкой, со шнуром 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

What brands would you recommend to find the solid sole, air mesh or canvas with the rubber cushion in the heel? I cant seem to find one with all of those features in one shoe.
Thank you, Travis! BD Dance has a model in catalogue with all those features. The heel is always cushioned, and they have both, half sole or rigid sole. Other brands, I can think of International, I believe they have a model that suits your needs, as well as Supadance, ADS+, but to be honest, every manufacturer can produce the model you want, custom made. So, just contact them)
international is the only one of those brands that has ever came up on my bing or google searches🤔
also, custom isnt something I've ever been told you could do, so I am very grateful for this information.
I have been wearing an airmesh split sole dance sneaker for 3 years because have been solely focused on west coast swing, with alot of outdoor events on concrete. But this will only be my 2nd pair of ballroom shoes, as the 1st got donated to the studio for 1st time 1st day dancers after I went full WCS. But my wife wants me to branch back into V waltz, so new shoes are needed. lol

If I’m doing ballroom and latin is there a pair that’s good for both?
@@Parkero918 Hi! Well, if you have to choose one pair only, then you should go for the low heel. The reason is because you can dance latin with a low heel, instead it’s very uncomfortable to dance ballroom with the high one (and it looks terrible 😂)
