Reebok Classic Nylon is my favorite. So comfortable, light weight, some nice cushion, flexible upper, flexible sole and breathable. I like the Adidas Superstar alot too (have tons of superstar and wore them so much in my clubbing days) but they are quite heavy, not as flexible in the sole and upper and less breathable than the Reebok. Good with slides. I have the adidas ultraboost and pureboost too. Never went dancing in them but I actually like using my pureboost with boxing. This is a video every dancer needs. Only other dance shoe video I know of is Poppin John's one. You guys really should have included a category for "grip" because when poppers need to do footwork like a Wiggle Walk, Glide, etc. they need not grippy shoes. BTW all vans are good for dance because they're thick soled and flat so they aren't very grippy but VERY durable. Also where the hell are Hush Puppies?

I prefer training toprocks ad footworks in much heavier skate shoes like Osiris Protocol, Globe Tilt or DC Pure SE. The reason is that they are harder to ruin cause off the high quality materials, they look dope and the most important part is that they are heavy and bulky which provides a bit more challenging training session. When I started training, it was really hard because of the weight, but after sometime I got used to them and not even feeling tired. When it's battle time, I wear Puma Suede Classic Bboy which are really light and my movement is getting way faster in them. You should try that out!
I can’t moonwalk on sneakers for the life of me. My movements are too jerky and sluggish since I can’t seem to get smooth traction with the floor. Obviously, I don’t expect to have smooth traction like I do in socks but I can’t get an even slightly smooth traction.
It’s the technique and timing of sliding your foot and switching to the other. That’s the most important focus in the moonwalk or glide. Also, it’s an illusion, your sliding foot should be barely on the ground enough to look like it’s actually sliding. But really all of your weight is on the foot in place and you’re just moving the the other foot away. Hope this helps some.
Aight but which shoe is the best for toespins? While also being good for spinning on the side of your foot, an ankle spin we can call it. I’d love to do these things without the shoe getting ripped as that have happened to me before. For me it stands between the Air Force 1 and the Air Jordan 1, but if y’all have better suggestions that is much appreciated.

I have verryyy weak ankles and pretty wide feet and I really like the puma X ray game shoes. There a bit squeeky but at least I won't break my ankle
I just bought Taygra Corrida and i tried them at school today Salsa and Bachata. I was really losing the grip on the floor and i didn't feel comfortable with that
I've always had problems with dance shoes. I've tried several of those I've seen other dancers wear but they grip the floor like glue. There's less friction dancing on asphalt or concrete for me.
hi!steezy..could u please suggest some important workout before every dance class
Great suggestion! We might have something cooking right now... 👨🍳
