I love how you depicit Afton in this- he feels like a cold, heartless monster, but not in an inhuman way. Infact, its the fact that you can SEE Human qualities in him that makes him absolutely terrifying. The fact that he tries to atone- tries to feel bad, but just doesn't in the end makes it clear that he is sick and evil on a deep pathological level, to the point where even he couldn't put himself back together. It doesn't matter if he redeemed himself- put his demons to rest, because in the end, at the final door to the pits of hell? The demon that will always be waiting for him- the one he can't get away from? *is himself.*
In the initial interactions, it's made clear that he didn't feel any emotion from his killing sprees, and that the only thing he felt sad for is that he couldn't appreciate art the same way. I'm not saying it justifies it by any means, but I also understand. Psychopathy is a horrible disease to the brain to have, thinking of other famous examples like Bundy and Dahmer. What strikes me is that Old Man Consequences told William that he was about to make him lose his temper. Think of the millions, if not billions of people Consequences has seen over eternity, how many people he had seen and heard. Out of all of them, it was William and his actions that finally got to him. That’s death himself getting pissed off at one of his “clients”. Insane.
This is really cool interpretation of William's self-destructive path that made him lose his family and closest friend. I love how this is mostly through visual storytelling, and the dialogue we get is through text instead of voice acting. Really adds to the eeriness of film.

What I love the most about this piece of art - an art, no less - is that it puts your perspective to that of an original killer, an original killer... The man behind the slaughter. And the first thing you see through his eyes is not the slaughter, not even the sadness or regret from what he has done. It's... Emptiness. A bleak void in which there is a distant light of hope - a hope for redemption. Yet, he knew that he cannot be redeemed. His whole existence brings the demons from the pit of hell to take him where he belongs. And he willingly abandoned this hope, for even if he could go back in time, there's little he would do differently - just his methods. Maybe, to not create these monsters, to not be trapped inside one of those monsters. He believes that he wasn't even innovative with these technologies so there was little to no point in creating this himself. But he can't go back in time. He refuses the gift from his son that was waiting downstairs for him, that wished he could go with his father. Michael wished to go with William to the Hell yet this wish made him deserve the place in Heaven. What makes this truly unique, setting this apart from any other Fnaf media, is that... Even Cassidy is tired. The decades of hate is too much for a single child, the child who just wants to leave this world with peace, knowing that William will get what he deserves so there's no point in torturing him himself - a very stoic decision. Yet William subconsciously yearned to go to Heaven, to have the eternal peace from all this suffering he brought on others and even himself - "I caused all of this". He worked with Henry and Michael to retrieve the souls back and free them. He fought the demon that was pulling him to the Hell, not just for himself, but for his son as he couldn't just go without making sure his youngest son isn't suffering in this golden costume that ended his life. When he bid farewell to Evan, to Elizabeth, to Michael, to all those broken souls of children, William was left with a wish that he would be a better father, a better person. He accepted his fate and let go. The two white dots in his eyes no longer blinded him, and he could see the eternal damnation. He didn't tell that he was willing to go to Heaven, wanted to extend his hands, wished he could go with everyone and be forgiven at last. That was his only regret, one so small yet just enough to pull him down the lake of blood that he spilled to face the fear of death, a true death that he wished he could experience on that day when a single drop made the spring locks do their job like when Evan's tears made the bear clench his jaw on his happiest day. This is really a tragedy. A Christian tragedy. I was left speechless for an hour. I wish this was a real ending to this story, to this franchise - and to me personally, it is. Thank you. I love you.

William actually says and declares that he is a bad person and doesn’t show any unforgiveness towards others, making him more open to redemption than literally any other character. The main issue with humans, including the one who made this video, is that they think they are good and they don’t need God to redeem them. Here’s the horror story that no one wants to see. God being the one to awaken William’s soul to true redemption as his victims die in rejection simply because they sincerely believed they are better than him and didn’t need God because they didn’t see themselves as evil. They are the wicked that will mock the thief on the cross and be utterly angry at his acceptance into Heaven.

William lamenting it has been a good while since he heard a good lie. Then gets told he was a good dad and his creations were innovative And. Instead of catching on he got told a lie. Basically said he was a bad dad. Or feel guilt at that. He goes to ask if he truly means "he is innovative". That delivery was great
He was indeed "innovative" in a sense, he made machines capable of housing human spirits and was able to expand his own life let alone being able to write his own fate for awhile.
To me he was being self aware. Like, out of the two statements he did treat "you were a good father" as a lie, and "your creations were innocative" at face value
After thinking about it all a bit more thoroughly, I feel like Afton did all of this just to see if he could feel something. He sees himself as incapable of any emotion (something paralleled by his self-admitted inability to enjoy art, ergo, his ability to connect with the most human thing form of expression there is and his willing to do it all over again if given the chance) other than killing and building his machines. The fact that he says he ate the children's hearts just as a way of "experimenting" to see if he could cleanse his soul (maybe thinking it could, again, make him feel something) I think points in this direction as well. I feel like he doesn't even truly care about his family, as indicated by him just plainly telling Michael to "Let go" when the latter tries to stab him, or when Consequences lies to him about being a good father and an innovative builder and William chooses to focus only on the latter, ignoring even the fact that it was meant to be a lie to instead cling into the slightest bit of validation in order to feed his ego. Hell, even the way he caresses Elizabeth's cheek when he first meets her again only to remark the fact that she's broken makes it feel to me like he cares more about the state of his creation rather than seeing his daughter again. No, I feel like his apparent good deed at the end, getting his family to rest and all, given the fact that Consequences reminds him over and over again that there's no redemption for him, is moreso just him trying to see if he can get himself to care about them or if it will make them feel any good rather than a truly careless act. Hell, Charlie even asks what is he going to do now, almost as if she knows he's gonna try something new to see if he feels something. The fact that at the end, before walking into Hell, he tells what's presumably a reflection of his killing impulse he just got bored of it, makes me feel this might be the intended reading. Maybe he just grew bored of immortality too, and he wants to see what the afterlife's like. Haven't seen anyone else bring this up yet. Man, what a fuckin film.
I genuinely think this is a modern horror surrealist masterpiece. Combing elements of liminal and unsettling imagery, to visually tell a story, with analog horror-esque scares to keep people engaged and on edge through the run time is nothing short of phenomenal. Not to mention, I think someone that had no idea about fnaf could watch this film and most likely enjoy it. The fact it was made independently only adds to this fact. Definitely film of the year for me.
I love how william interacts with his kids. Even though he is a monster he still cares about them and they care about him, even Michael. Elizabeth clearly loves him unconditionally even though he is indirectly responsible for her death. With Michael it's more of a love-hate relationship. Michael hates William for what he did, not just to him, but also to the others. But deep down beneath the hate is a remorseful man who wants all of this to end just as bad as his father does. With his youngest is a boy who's scared and confused who just wants to see his family again.
What I love about the ending is that he is sitting there seemly bored out of his mind, and to me it fits his character perfectly, after he accepts his fate and goes to hell he realizes that its his eternity to sit in that room and suffer, knowing that his family is in a better place, knowing that he will never see them again.
To be fair, being trapped in that room for 30 years pretty much was the worst time of his life. Even being burned and reanimated doesn't compare to this.

i like how everyone in this animation is just DONE with william. charlie doesn't even attack him, henry coldly talks to him on a phone or smth, michael tries to stab him but gives up and just goes back into his apartment, old man consequences gets fed up with his unwillingness to change... and cassidy, whose sole character trait in canon is hating william enough to trap him in a personal hell, is so TIRED of hating him that they just. give up. they explain that they're done after learning that their parents died a decade ago, simply tell william to tell his own kid what he did, and leaves without another word. it's poignant. beautiful.
I genuinely feel like i should be paying money to watch this. It took YEARS to make this, and it absolutely shows in EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. I've been seeing comments comparing it to emesis blue, skinamarink and what not, i think they're absolutely right. The constant, but smooth shifts of setting, mood, and emotion was magical. It gives you a feeling of emptiness throughout most of the movie. Which makes absolute sense in Williams case. The ending filled me with dread, fully instilling into my mind the thought of eternal suffering. The idea of forever is a fleeting thought for the mind to grasp, though he deserved it, and knew it as well makes you almost empathetic for him. He never wanted to go to hell, but he knew he was too far past gone. Literally stated by Old Man Consequences: “An evil like yours is hard to come by” (that's probably not 100% accurate but you get my point). This film was a roller coaster of emotions, and i'm glad it strayed a little further from jump scares like most of the FNAF fan films/shorts. It was filled with eerie, morbid mind games, feeling you with a sense of desperation, a sudden loss of hope. Which is how it should feel, in my opinion i think thats how all these events made william feel. I could go on forever, but i'll cap it here. This work of art was INCREDIBLY AWESOME, it gave a satisfying ending to the Aftons. I've been recommending this to multiple people to watch, and i intend on continuing doing so.
I love how William is depicted as a straight up serial killer. He shows no emotion at all when he talks about what he did, and that makes him a truly evil and terrifying character. Great work on this film! You deserve all the credit and more!👍
God damn that "William opening the door to hell" scene is just incredible... it really perfectly gives that feeling of unimaginable pain and hopelessness.

This is maybe the most viscerally Interesting FNaF Fanwork I've ever seen. The idea of William becoming resigned to everything and even helping Mike and Henry end it all is such a wild take compared to everything else we've seen. Fantastic work!
I may be trippin but the Springbonnie at the end could represent the devil itself talking to William, since at that point he is at the lowest and darkest pit in hell.
I feel like it has to be that, Afton was always obsessed with the paranormal, and he probably made a deal with the devil to make his experiments have value.
I interpreted it as the "idea" of William letting hell and taking on a new shape (ie. Pittrap, Glitchtrap, Mimic, etc.) "What didn't he tell me?" ... that he always comes back. One way or the other.
@@ripgasbaron9716 I always wondered if Glitchtrap is actually W. Afton or just some sort of copy. But since Henry at the end of fnaf 5 says "the darkest pits of hell have opened to swallow you whole (...)" your theory would make a lot of sense.
That reminds me about how complicated William Afton character is, I guess sometimes people are forgetting that William is not some sort of a cartoon villain, he is antagonist with terrifying and terrible backstory. Sometimes I think that the story of afton family needs a representation. Just imagine how dark it can be.
Scott needs to see this and this wasn’t an hour long fan film, this was an experience for all fnaf fans who knew exactly what was going on and when this took place.
I have seen a lot of fnaf media, A LOT. There is literally nothing I have ever seen that has topped this. I'd say that NOTHING is ever going to top this. I can literally feel the actual passion put into this project. The amount of dedication that you have to have to keep going and going to create something like this for actual years is impressive. I absolutely love the portrayal of William in this, he is cold, unforgivable, and remorseless killer. As stated several times in this, he would not change a thing if he could and I absolutely love that. I've seen portrayals that try to make him redeemable and they always feel empty and felt like it didn't represent the character, but this is genuinely perfect. Nothing about him is redeeming. The only thing he has is an obligation to care for his kids. I honestly hope that an official fnaf movie can be this passionate and deep. I love how this film is up to a lot of interpretation, especially the box towards the end. I literally do not think I have a single gripe or criticism about this.

This film has made my skin crawl mutliple times. As a person that has been with the FNAF community since its beginning, and of course knowing the lore, it makes it all more terrifying. Also the art style of this film is so HUMAN-like that it actually feels like this is based on a true story with real events. This film also really wants to make you think that Afton will finally adress these murderers and maybe want to atone which obviously is far from the truth. William as a person simply DID NOT CARE. He didn't care about himself nor the victims he had slain. There's no reason for him to feel guilty, regretful, sad or hurt about his actions because he simply didn't care about any of it. He was just an empty shell trying to fill up itself by just doing actions without second guessing or re-thinking them. It's truly just sickening. This is also emphasized by when Golden Freddy asked him if he could turn back time what would he do different to which he responded that he'd do it all again. His goal was NEVER to atone for his sins, his goal was to just do it just to do it. No ulterior motives, no anger, NOTHING just doing what needs to be done in order to HOPEFULLY fill that empty shell that he is as a person. Just empty. (P.S.: I legit have no idea why im yapping so much im just bored and i had this vid on my watch later sooooo i figured why not :) )
This is EXACTLY what reminds me of what Scott was trying to go for in the old games, when everything was so dark are horrific. I have to say this is the BEST fnaf animation I’ve ever seen, I’ve seen a lot of fnaf animations, and I mean A LOT, but this is the best fnaf animated film I’ve ever watched.
@SubZero-hs9xc it 100% was, it mimics his intentions very closely. Fnaf 1 was about child murder and being stuffed into suits (the death screen gore is proof enough), fnaf 2 took a step back from the gore to focus on the lore and the darkness of the story (specifically the MCI), then fnaf 3 harnessed the gore from fnaf 1 and the dark lore of fnaf 2 and combined it while making it darker, then Fnaf 4 too a more psychological horror approach by adding situational horror (the view of a child) and the tragic demise of said child, then Fnaf SL amped it up to 200 by really showing a spotlight on aftons cunning and nihilistic nature by showing us how evil and dark he really is (making animatronics to kidnap kids so he can experiment with remnant) then leading to the fall of his daughter, then fnaf 6 giving us further proof by showing how deranged and dark he is (the missing dog minigame and the Jr's. Minigame), then UCN gave us cutscenes which explained how he killed them all. After that it took a step back tone wise because he wanted to cater to children more and less of the dark era. This animation is a perfect end to the story and it's where fnaf should have ended, it's Scott's true vision and everything after UCN is mainly SW's vision. The darkness lives on in the books and the side games like Into the Pit.

Right now the horror element is slowly fading, the newer games are still horror just.. not the type of horror game it used to be
Something that I wasn't expecting and at the same time absolutely love, was William being portrayed as simply tired really. Michael literally stabs him, and he's just like..."yep, I deserve that." In the end, he's still an ego maniac, but a tired ego maniac. One that literally willingly walks into hell because he's accepted the consequences of his horrible actions that he doesn't regret.

I love all the little details in this like at 26:48 where you can see the fabric of the suit moving over the corpse of William. This is a true masterpiece, the fnaf movie we deserve.
i think what was in the box was williams will to keep killing or to continue to be the person is, so when william throws the box off the edge at 58:19 and it ends up in the lake, OMC sees it as some gift, and i think that sort of confuses OMC because the whole time william told him that he’d never change anything, so when he sees that gift he thinks on it wonders what william never told him, and i think that william never told OMC that he’d lost interest and who he was and what he did was no longer special to him
Seeing William sort of humanized by interacting with his family and being subjected to his own horrors was really neat! I felt like rooting for him during the film. You've done an amazing job with the visuals, I've never seen something FNAF related be so realistic, surreal, and creepy! Thanks for your hard work on this project.
Additionally, it was so cool to see Old Man Consequences depicted like this. He's one of my favorite characters in the series with how mysterious and spiritual he is.

The ending is... quite disturbing in its implications. If the timeline is correct, these are the moments leading up to Ultimate Custom Night. This is him entering his eternal punishment, having finally tied up every loose end. Here he is, his own body twisted into a stationary prison with him nestled in the middle, surrounded by teeth and scabs. And deep within, he's stuck living the same six hours over and over and over again. Dying, waking up, winning, dying, waking up, winning, and then dying. Forever...
i don't think so. Cassidy's the one causing william's nightmare/personal hell and immortality (seemingly) sometime between fnaf 3 and fnaf 6, and they were shown moving on/giving up at the end, causing Will to die (i think). that's not Cassidy's hell he's going into, that's HELL hell he's going to. "unfathomable horror, eternal suffering and complete detachment from God" hell.

Since I’m assuming the priest came to Henry and William during the Fredbear era, it was likely either A: a vision into the future or B: Henry and William named the animatronics after the children, to honor the then dead priest.

The most harrowing scene for me is the one in which the spring suit is slowly killing him 9:10, each excruciating sound visceral and apparent, even when offscreen.
I dont know who told you to cook ....... But you absolutely did. And made one of the best dishes ive ever seen in my life. In my heart, this will be considered the best interpretation of both Fnaf in itself and the Afton family as a whole. Absolutely phenomenal brother.
I very much like the idea that the cursed Aftons are spared hell so William alone goes to face his punishment. They were roped into what he did, after all, and deserve to be spared. He knows this. He knows he alone should rot and that's why that is exactly what he goes to do. Beautifully done. Wow.

Basically william is being haunted and hunted by the manifestation of all the horror and agony he caused while also tracking down his child to free him from this nightmare, but he knows there isn't forgiveness, he knows there is no hope for him, he is doing this because he thinks that this will finally kill him and free him at last

The fact that William called old man consequences a crocodile makes me think that it is the only way he had to describe to his daughter a being whose mere existence is difficult to understand, and yes I know that in the FNAF saga, he looks literally like a crocodile fishing, but this is what I interpret seeing that in this film it has another possible meaning
In a fucked up morbid way, I find it kinda wholesome how Michael refused to pass on until his siblings and the other children did. Notice how he was the very last one to disappear
24:55 I absolutely love this brief scene of him peeking around the corner. A perfect example of my favorite aspect of this film, is the insistence to capture all the rendering qualities, visual gags, and signature style of the original games. The way the models and environments and models are rendered, with the noise and lighting closely resembling the charm of the old clickteam game's rendering and visual artstyle while still playing with higher quality visuals. The sound design perfectly emulates the usually very quiet movements and environments of the old games, with footsteps faithfully muffled like in the games. All to reach that scene of him peeking a corner just like in the third game. This animator knew what they were doing.

Such an interesting way of telling his story. Even if does regret it partially at the end, it doesn't' change a single thing of what he does. He doesn't fight going to hell, he just accepts it cause he knew he was fucked no matter what.
This is undoubtably the most beautifully crafted pieces of fnaf media i've ever watched in the last 10 years old being a fan. the animation was smooth, the story telling was fantastic and the cinematography was nothing short of incredibly produced. i also adored the choice of having them not speak but instead read subtitles, giving more attention to the sound design and the quiet/morbid nature of the film, which was brilliantly executed in the design and portrayal of the characters. this was just so awesome dude you did such a great job on producing this!!

the stares. the flesh counterpart. the *detail*. ive been with fnaf for ten years. ive seen and heard and done near everything a person can within the fandom. ive seen the vhs tapes, ive played the fangames, ive watched every single matpat and dawko and markiplier and fusionzgamer video. this franchise was my childhood, and as i turn twenty, i am once again blown away by the sheer creativity and flexibility and talent that this community has. when the title screen comes on, people probably think they're in for something similar to the vhs tapes, just another one of those 'meta' takes on fnaf and the story. what hooked me was at 2:44. the stare from lefty proves that entire mindset wrong. it shows people that this is something truly amazing, and the story theyre about to witness is unlike much else theyve ever heard. and if they werent hooked at 2:44, then what got them next was the entire dialogue scene in the theater. that was something special. this entire FILM was special. it takes a much darker turn than most, if not all, vhs tapes. we're looking in as an outsider, but with the clarity that this is not about his crimes. its about what his crimes *caused*. how we watch this man descend into this horrid chimerical unreality is something so well done i almost thought i was going insane. the ART?? the painstaking art of the flesh freddy head, those melting animatronics during his pizzeria flashback, the other flesh being? i was, for lack of a better work, starstruck. this must have taken YEARS to complete, film, set up and sculpt. i simply am out of words to express just how impressive this truly is. this is not a horror film. this is a documentary about the causation of a man's actions thirty years ago, and how it affects him to the end. i will not spoil the ending for those just scrolling and reading comments before watching the video (i do the same), but after watching this, the ending is something thought-out. i LOVED this. from beginning to end i enjoyed every moment, and while i don't get scared very easy, i did get freaked out. (this is the longest comment ive ever written)
Possibly the best fanfilm I’ve ever seen, the story, the animation, the lighting, it really does make you think and feel for William. He deserved what was coming to him, but the fact he might’ve regretted even a little bit what he had done, makes it painful to watch. And that’s the best kind of film making, Well done.
By far, probably the best most solid well crafted piece of fnaf fan content ever. It was surreal, pretty, haunting, and so so much more, this is a beautiful William Character study and it tackles the more weird and out there elements of FNAF with so much care and makes it feel so damn coherent.

This is an absolute gem. The story felt so liminal and empty, like depression made into a video, but fnaf style. Fnaf is one of my most favorite things, so I’m so happy someone did this. I’ve wanted for so long someone to dive into Ultimate Custom Night as it’s one of my FAVORITE parts of fnaf lore and there’s so much to do with it. The legitimate storytelling, atmosphere and animation is beyond insane. And don’t get me started with the models, Mikes was soooo good. You worked so hard and deserve a,l the views you can get. My heart literally melted when Afton and lizzy were hugging 😭.

This is my favorite incarnation of Afton (outside of DsAF), but mostly because of how HUMAN he is. Hes a monster yes, but hes not a boring face of evil. Hes a man. Ive never been able to see William as more than an antagonist. No nuance at all. This perfectly sums up his character. No regret, no remorse, but no more hatred. He got what he deserved, on top of everything he felt he deserved
I have never felt so much existential dread watching a video before. It gives me the vibes of “The House that Jack Built” and I mean this in the best way possible. This video is such a hellish experience that absolutely shows the love and dedication put into this project. It’s like a fever dream. Also the absence of any voice acting/ loud and intense music really pieces everything so beautifully. A waking dream within the grasps of limbo, the purgatory for the irredeemable. Tbh, I planned to write something similar called "Pizza Massacre", written like some old classic horror slasher movie based on the MCI incident. I love the fact that there's a chance that people would make a movie out of it.
You can't help but root for him, beg him to show remorse, to say he would have never killed anyone. But ultimately he can't admit that, but at the same time he doesn't feel joy over it either. Even after conquering UCN, even if he finds redemption and puts his demons to rest, he's still stuck. He'll never escape from the consequences of his actions.
This is the best FNaF fan film I have ever seen. I'm actually speechless, but I'll try to muster up something because I feel guilty not leaving a comment. This reminds me of those weird stopmotion/surreal films I would seldom come across on tv while changing channels when I was little. They were eerie, melancholic, weirdly nostalgic, and at times disturbing, but ever so beautiful and captivating. That's how I felt while watching this. I absolutely adore your interpretation of William here, he's cold, heartless, and a husk of his former self; you can feel the emptiness behind his eyes. But even then, he's still human; he feels real. He acts like an actual psychopath, he doesn't feel guilt for what he's done, not because he enjoyed it, but because he's literally unable to. William's interactions with his kids are something I love so much. Even though he's a sick individual, and he indirectly caused the deaths of Mike, Lizzie and Dave. He still cares about them, to the point that he'll go out of his way to bring them peace. Lizzie and Dave loving their father unconditionally like most kids would, and Mike having this love-hate relationship with his dad is so perfect. Man, William's interactions with Elizabeth are just so wholesome and tender but in such a sad way. William doesn't deserve any sort of redemption, but I can't avoid to feel for him in this. Just tragic. The flesh-Springtrap and flesh-Freddy are just so disturbing; Old Man Consequences design is brilliant; and the Scraptrap model is top notch. I like that there's no voice acting in this, it fits the vibe 100%. This film *oozes* passion; the detail, the dialogue, the movement, the backgrounds, everything is absolutely *phenomenal*. Hell, at one point I got all choked up. This truly is a work of art, a masterpiece, just fantastic. I don't think I'll ever come across another fnaf fan film that tops this. Outstanding job God
I rarely comment but this is so amazing. The animations, the quality, you can clearly see the hard work behind this. It felt so immersive too, I loves the fact we could see William's hallucinations and the fact they were more distorted rather than normal models chasing him, I think it was exactly like this for him. This is fucking incredible. You really did an amazing job reincorporating aesthetic elements from the franchise (static, phone ringing, silence, etc) in really cool ways that gave me skinamarink vibes for sure. Really something special.
i've never seen a fan project of this quality. this *transcends* a fan project. this is genuinely not just an incredible fnaf film, but an incredible film in general. this managed to keep my focus for an entire hour without ever getting boring. every little detail, every bit of dialogue never felt out of place. the characters all feel genuine and nuanced, while still maintaining who they are in the games. this is seriously a masterpiece of art/surrealist horror. i look forward to any future projects you make, since i'll certainly be watching those too.
This is genuinely really, REALLY impressive. While the dialogue is sometimes a bit off, this is far, FAR outweighed by the amazing visuals and scenes. Genuinely a really cool take on Williams death and "hell".
I love this to death. The designs, the imagery, and especially the metaphors. There is no "handholding" when it comes to storytelling. It's all metaphorical, leaving the viewer to decipher what the imagery means based on the events in the lore of the FNaF universe. The film is so cryptic, vague and anomalous. It leaves you unsatisfied. There’s no real explanation except for your own imagination and visuals. It makes you wants to watch through again. The film is very disturbing. It genuinely makes me sick, and that is what the creator intended. He intended for it to be unsatisfactory, to be cryptic, gross, and fever-dreamish, and they damn-well nailed it. I genuinely want to know more about the film and it’s creator. What was the inspiration? What was the direction? Why did the creator design the characters and entities the way they did? Bravo!

Absolutely outstanding work. I’m a little slow, so I didn’t really understand a lot of the crazier symbolism and stuff despite being a fnaf lore-head, but this is genuinely a work of art. I adore the visuals and aesthetic, the characterizations in the dialogue and the amazing cinematography and sound design. I haven’t felt so positive about a fnaf fan work in forever, you and everyone involved deserve to stand proud with this years long labor of love. I don’t know if you ever plan on doing something like this, but I’d love a directors commentary of sorts over this one day. Hearing how this was made and such with the people involved would be a dream.

I love for starters, the ScrapTrap redesign: how the skeleton is MUCH better and how he doesn’t have that weird visible skull in the mask, and it’s just flesh now. But what I love MORE is how you handled Afton and his family, most fanworks depict Afton as either despising or just tolerating his family, but this one’s a lot better. Sure, yeah- Aftons a heartless monster who doesn’t care nor regret the fact he killed 5+ children, yet he still cares about his own. Makes him feel atleast a BIT more human.

I love how you depicit Afton in this- he feels like a cold, heartless monster, but not in an inhuman way. Infact, its the fact that you can SEE Human qualities in him that makes him absolutely terrifying. The fact that he tries to atone- tries to feel bad, but just doesn't in the end makes it clear that he is sick and evil on a deep pathological level, to the point where even he couldn't put himself back together.
It doesn't matter if he redeemed himself- put his demons to rest, because in the end, at the final door to the pits of hell?

In the initial interactions, it's made clear that he didn't feel any emotion from his killing sprees, and that the only thing he felt sad for is that he couldn't appreciate art the same way. I'm not saying it justifies it by any means, but I also understand. Psychopathy is a horrible disease to the brain to have, thinking of other famous examples like Bundy and Dahmer. You've summed it perfectly.

What strikes me is that Old Man Consequences told William that he was about to make him lose his temper. Think of the millions, if not billions of people Consequences has seen over eternity, how many people he had seen and heard. Out of all of them, it was William and his actions that finally got to him. That’s death himself getting pissed off at one of his “clients”. Insane.

This is really cool interpretation of William's self-destructive path that made him lose his family and closest friend. I love how this is mostly through visual storytelling, and the dialogue we get is through text instead of voice acting. Really adds to the eeriness of film.

What I love the most about this piece of art - an art, no less - is that it puts your perspective to that of an original killer, an original killer... The man behind the slaughter. And the first thing you see through his eyes is not the slaughter, not even the sadness or regret from what he has done. It's... Emptiness. A bleak void in which there is a distant light of hope - a hope for redemption. Yet, he knew that he cannot be redeemed. His whole existence brings the demons from the pit of hell to take him where he belongs. And he willingly abandoned this hope, for even if he could go back in time, there's little he would do differently - just his methods. Maybe, to not create these monsters, to not be trapped inside one of those monsters. He believes that he wasn't even innovative with these technologies so there was little to no point in creating this himself. But he can't go back in time. He refuses the gift from his son that was waiting downstairs for him, that wished he could go with his father. Michael wished to go with William to the Hell yet this wish made him deserve the place in Heaven.
What makes this truly unique, setting this apart from any other Fnaf media, is that... Even Cassidy is tired. The decades of hate is too much for a single child, the child who just wants to leave this world with peace, knowing that William will get what he deserves so there's no point in torturing him himself - a very stoic decision.
Yet William subconsciously yearned to go to Heaven, to have the eternal peace from all this suffering he brought on others and even himself - "I caused all of this". He worked with Henry and Michael to retrieve the souls back and free them. He fought the demon that was pulling him to the Hell, not just for himself, but for his son as he couldn't just go without making sure his youngest son isn't suffering in this golden costume that ended his life. When he bid farewell to Evan, to Elizabeth, to Michael, to all those broken souls of children, William was left with a wish that he would be a better father, a better person. He accepted his fate and let go. The two white dots in his eyes no longer blinded him, and he could see the eternal damnation. He didn't tell that he was willing to go to Heaven, wanted to extend his hands, wished he could go with everyone and be forgiven at last. That was his only regret, one so small yet just enough to pull him down the lake of blood that he spilled to face the fear of death, a true death that he wished he could experience on that day when a single drop made the spring locks do their job like when Evan's tears made the bear clench his jaw on his happiest day.
This is really a tragedy. A Christian tragedy. I was left speechless for an hour. I wish this was a real ending to this story, to this franchise - and to me personally, it is. Thank you. I love you.

William actually says and declares that he is a bad person and doesn’t show any unforgiveness towards others, making him more open to redemption than literally any other character. The main issue with humans, including the one who made this video, is that they think they are good and they don’t need God to redeem them.
Here’s the horror story that no one wants to see. God being the one to awaken William’s soul to true redemption as his victims die in rejection simply because they sincerely believed they are better than him and didn’t need God because they didn’t see themselves as evil. They are the wicked that will mock the thief on the cross and be utterly angry at his acceptance into Heaven.

He was indeed "innovative" in a sense, he made machines capable of housing human spirits and was able to expand his own life let alone being able to write his own fate for awhile.
To me he was being self aware. Like, out of the two statements he did treat "you were a good father" as a lie, and "your creations were innocative" at face value
After thinking about it all a bit more thoroughly, I feel like Afton did all of this just to see if he could feel something. He sees himself as incapable of any emotion (something paralleled by his self-admitted inability to enjoy art, ergo, his ability to connect with the most human thing form of expression there is and his willing to do it all over again if given the chance) other than killing and building his machines. The fact that he says he ate the children's hearts just as a way of "experimenting" to see if he could cleanse his soul (maybe thinking it could, again, make him feel something) I think points in this direction as well. I feel like he doesn't even truly care about his family, as indicated by him just plainly telling Michael to "Let go" when the latter tries to stab him, or when Consequences lies to him about being a good father and an innovative builder and William chooses to focus only on the latter, ignoring even the fact that it was meant to be a lie to instead cling into the slightest bit of validation in order to feed his ego. Hell, even the way he caresses Elizabeth's cheek when he first meets her again only to remark the fact that she's broken makes it feel to me like he cares more about the state of his creation rather than seeing his daughter again.
No, I feel like his apparent good deed at the end, getting his family to rest and all, given the fact that Consequences reminds him over and over again that there's no redemption for him, is moreso just him trying to see if he can get himself to care about them or if it will make them feel any good rather than a truly careless act. Hell, Charlie even asks what is he going to do now, almost as if she knows he's gonna try something new to see if he feels something. The fact that at the end, before walking into Hell, he tells what's presumably a reflection of his killing impulse he just got bored of it, makes me feel this might be the intended reading. Maybe he just grew bored of immortality too, and he wants to see what the afterlife's like. Haven't seen anyone else bring this up yet. Man, what a fuckin film.

I genuinely think this is a modern horror surrealist masterpiece. Combing elements of liminal and unsettling imagery, to visually tell a story, with analog horror-esque scares to keep people engaged and on edge through the run time is nothing short of phenomenal. Not to mention, I think someone that had no idea about fnaf could watch this film and most likely enjoy it. The fact it was made independently only adds to this fact. Definitely film of the year for me.

I love how william interacts with his kids. Even though he is a monster he still cares about them and they care about him, even Michael. Elizabeth clearly loves him unconditionally even though he is indirectly responsible for her death. With Michael it's more of a love-hate relationship. Michael hates William for what he did, not just to him, but also to the others. But deep down beneath the hate is a remorseful man who wants all of this to end just as bad as his father does. With his youngest is a boy who's scared and confused who just wants to see his family again.
What I love about the ending is that he is sitting there seemly bored out of his mind, and to me it fits his character perfectly, after he accepts his fate and goes to hell he realizes that its his eternity to sit in that room and suffer, knowing that his family is in a better place, knowing that he will never see them again.
To be fair, being trapped in that room for 30 years pretty much was the worst time of his life. Even being burned and reanimated doesn't compare to this.

i like how everyone in this animation is just DONE with william. charlie doesn't even attack him, henry coldly talks to him on a phone or smth, michael tries to stab him but gives up and just goes back into his apartment, old man consequences gets fed up with his unwillingness to change...
and cassidy, whose sole character trait in canon is hating william enough to trap him in a personal hell, is so TIRED of hating him that they just. give up. they explain that they're done after learning that their parents died a decade ago, simply tell william to tell his own kid what he did, and leaves without another word. it's poignant. beautiful.

I genuinely feel like i should be paying money to watch this. It took YEARS to make this, and it absolutely shows in EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. I've been seeing comments comparing it to emesis blue, skinamarink and what not, i think they're absolutely right. The constant, but smooth shifts of setting, mood, and emotion was magical. It gives you a feeling of emptiness throughout most of the movie. Which makes absolute sense in Williams case.
The ending filled me with dread, fully instilling into my mind the thought of eternal suffering. The idea of forever is a fleeting thought for the mind to grasp, though he deserved it, and knew it as well makes you almost empathetic for him. He never wanted to go to hell, but he knew he was too far past gone. Literally stated by Old Man Consequences: “An evil like yours is hard to come by” (that's probably not 100% accurate but you get my point).
This film was a roller coaster of emotions, and i'm glad it strayed a little further from jump scares like most of the FNAF fan films/shorts. It was filled with eerie, morbid mind games, feeling you with a sense of desperation, a sudden loss of hope. Which is how it should feel, in my opinion i think thats how all these events made william feel. I could go on forever, but i'll cap it here. This work of art was INCREDIBLY AWESOME, it gave a satisfying ending to the Aftons. I've been recommending this to multiple people to watch, and i intend on continuing doing so.

I may be trippin but the Springbonnie at the end could represent the devil itself talking to William, since at that point he is at the lowest and darkest pit in hell.
I feel like it has to be that, Afton was always obsessed with the paranormal, and he probably made a deal with the devil to make his experiments have value.

That reminds me about how complicated William Afton character is, I guess sometimes people are forgetting that William is not some sort of a cartoon villain, he is antagonist with terrifying and terrible backstory. Sometimes I think that the story of afton family needs a representation. Just imagine how dark it can be.

I can literally feel the actual passion put into this project. The amount of dedication that you have to have to keep going and going to create something like this for actual years is impressive.
I absolutely love the portrayal of William in this, he is cold, unforgivable, and remorseless killer. As stated several times in this, he would not change a thing if he could and I absolutely love that. I've seen portrayals that try to make him redeemable and they always feel empty and felt like it didn't represent the character, but this is genuinely perfect. Nothing about him is redeeming. The only thing he has is an obligation to care for his kids.
I honestly hope that an official fnaf movie can be this passionate and deep. I love how this film is up to a lot of interpretation, especially the box towards the end. I literally do not think I have a single gripe or criticism about this.

This film has made my skin crawl mutliple times. As a person that has been with the FNAF community since its beginning, and of course knowing the lore, it makes it all more terrifying. Also the art style of this film is so HUMAN-like that it actually feels like this is based on a true story with real events. This film also really wants to make you think that Afton will finally adress these murderers and maybe want to atone which obviously is far from the truth. William as a person simply DID NOT CARE. He didn't care about himself nor the victims he had slain. There's no reason for him to feel guilty, regretful, sad or hurt about his actions because he simply didn't care about any of it. He was just an empty shell trying to fill up itself by just doing actions without second guessing or re-thinking them. It's truly just sickening. This is also emphasized by when Golden Freddy asked him if he could turn back time what would he do different to which he responded that he'd do it all again. His goal was NEVER to atone for his sins, his goal was to just do it just to do it. No ulterior motives, no anger, NOTHING just doing what needs to be done in order to HOPEFULLY fill that empty shell that he is as a person. Just empty.

This is EXACTLY what reminds me of what Scott was trying to go for in the old games, when everything was so dark are horrific. I have to say this is the BEST fnaf animation I’ve ever seen, I’ve seen a lot of fnaf animations, and I mean A LOT, but this is the best fnaf animated film I’ve ever watched.

Fnaf 1 was about child murder and being stuffed into suits (the death screen gore is proof enough), fnaf 2 took a step back from the gore to focus on the lore and the darkness of the story (specifically the MCI), then fnaf 3 harnessed the gore from fnaf 1 and the dark lore of fnaf 2 and combined it while making it darker, then Fnaf 4 too a more psychological horror approach by adding situational horror (the view of a child) and the tragic demise of said child, then Fnaf SL amped it up to 200 by really showing a spotlight on aftons cunning and nihilistic nature by showing us how evil and dark he really is (making animatronics to kidnap kids so he can experiment with remnant) then leading to the fall of his daughter, then fnaf 6 giving us further proof by showing how deranged and dark he is (the missing dog minigame and the Jr's. Minigame), then UCN gave us cutscenes which explained how he killed them all. After that it took a step back tone wise because he wanted to cater to children more and less of the dark era. This animation is a perfect end to the story and it's where fnaf should have ended, it's Scott's true vision and everything after UCN is mainly SW's vision. The darkness lives on in the books and the side games like Into the Pit.

Something that I wasn't expecting and at the same time absolutely love, was William being portrayed as simply tired really. Michael literally stabs him, and he's just like..."yep, I deserve that." In the end, he's still an ego maniac, but a tired ego maniac. One that literally willingly walks into hell because he's accepted the consequences of his horrible actions that he doesn't regret.

i think what was in the box was williams will to keep killing or to continue to be the person is, so when william throws the box off the edge at 58:19 and it ends up in the lake, OMC sees it as some gift, and i think that sort of confuses OMC because the whole time william told him that he’d never change anything, so when he sees that gift he thinks on it wonders what william never told him, and i think that william never told OMC that he’d lost interest and who he was and what he did was no longer special to him

The ending is... quite disturbing in its implications. If the timeline is correct, these are the moments leading up to Ultimate Custom Night. This is him entering his eternal punishment, having finally tied up every loose end. Here he is, his own body twisted into a stationary prison with him nestled in the middle, surrounded by teeth and scabs. And deep within, he's stuck living the same six hours over and over and over again. Dying, waking up, winning, dying, waking up, winning, and then dying.

Cassidy's the one causing william's nightmare/personal hell and immortality (seemingly) sometime between fnaf 3 and fnaf 6, and they were shown moving on/giving up at the end, causing Will to die (i think). that's not Cassidy's hell he's going into, that's HELL hell he's going to. "unfathomable horror, eternal suffering and complete detachment from God" hell.

Basically william is being haunted and hunted by the manifestation of all the horror and agony he caused while also tracking down his child to free him from this nightmare, but he knows there isn't forgiveness, he knows there is no hope for him, he is doing this because he thinks that this will finally kill him and free him at last

The fact that William called old man consequences a crocodile makes me think that it is the only way he had to describe to his daughter a being whose mere existence is difficult to understand, and yes I know that in the FNAF saga, he looks literally like a crocodile fishing, but this is what I interpret seeing that in this film it has another possible meaning

I absolutely love this brief scene of him peeking around the corner. A perfect example of my favorite aspect of this film, is the insistence to capture all the rendering qualities, visual gags, and signature style of the original games. The way the models and environments and models are rendered, with the noise and lighting closely resembling the charm of the old clickteam game's rendering and visual artstyle while still playing with higher quality visuals. The sound design perfectly emulates the usually very quiet movements and environments of the old games, with footsteps faithfully muffled like in the games. All to reach that scene of him peeking a corner just like in the third game. This animator knew what they were doing.

This is undoubtably the most beautifully crafted pieces of fnaf media i've ever watched in the last 10 years old being a fan. the animation was smooth, the story telling was fantastic and the cinematography was nothing short of incredibly produced. i also adored the choice of having them not speak but instead read subtitles, giving more attention to the sound design and the quiet/morbid nature of the film, which was brilliantly executed in the design and portrayal of the characters. this was just so awesome dude you did such a great job on producing this!!

ive been with fnaf for ten years. ive seen and heard and done near everything a person can within the fandom. ive seen the vhs tapes, ive played the fangames, ive watched every single matpat and dawko and markiplier and fusionzgamer video. this franchise was my childhood, and as i turn twenty, i am once again blown away by the sheer creativity and flexibility and talent that this community has.
when the title screen comes on, people probably think they're in for something similar to the vhs tapes, just another one of those 'meta' takes on fnaf and the story. what hooked me was at 2:44. the stare from lefty proves that entire mindset wrong. it shows people that this is something truly amazing, and the story theyre about to witness is unlike much else theyve ever heard. and if they werent hooked at 2:44, then what got them next was the entire dialogue scene in the theater. that was something special. this entire FILM was special. it takes a much darker turn than most, if not all, vhs tapes. we're looking in as an outsider, but with the clarity that this is not about his crimes. its about what his crimes *caused*. how we watch this man descend into this horrid chimerical unreality is something so well done i almost thought i was going insane.
the ART?? the painstaking art of the flesh freddy head, those melting animatronics during his pizzeria flashback, the other flesh being? i was, for lack of a better work, starstruck. this must have taken YEARS to complete, film, set up and sculpt. i simply am out of words to express just how impressive this truly is.
this is not a horror film. this is a documentary about the causation of a man's actions thirty years ago, and how it affects him to the end. i will not spoil the ending for those just scrolling and reading comments before watching the video (i do the same), but after watching this, the ending is something thought-out.
i LOVED this. from beginning to end i enjoyed every moment, and while i don't get scared very easy, i did get freaked out. (this is the longest comment ive ever written)

Possibly the best fanfilm I’ve ever seen, the story, the animation, the lighting, it really does make you think and feel for William. He deserved what was coming to him, but the fact he might’ve regretted even a little bit what he had done, makes it painful to watch. And that’s the best kind of film making, Well done.
By far, probably the best most solid well crafted piece of fnaf fan content ever. It was surreal, pretty, haunting, and so so much more, this is a beautiful William Character study and it tackles the more weird and out there elements of FNAF with so much care and makes it feel so damn coherent.
Scott walked so indie creators could run! I was in shock the whole time. This is so well done, and so insanely unsettling.

This is an absolute gem. The story felt so liminal and empty, like depression made into a video, but fnaf style. Fnaf is one of my most favorite things, so I’m so happy someone did this. I’ve wanted for so long someone to dive into Ultimate Custom Night as it’s one of my FAVORITE parts of fnaf lore and there’s so much to do with it. The legitimate storytelling, atmosphere and animation is beyond insane. And don’t get me started with the models, Mikes was soooo good. You worked so hard and deserve a,l the views you can get. My heart literally melted when Afton and lizzy were hugging 😭.

I have never felt so much existential dread watching a video before. It gives me the vibes of “The House that Jack Built” and I mean this in the best way possible. This video is such a hellish experience that absolutely shows the love and dedication put into this project. It’s like a fever dream. Also the absence of any voice acting/ loud and intense music really pieces everything so beautifully. A waking dream within the grasps of limbo, the purgatory for the irredeemable. I look forward to seeing this in my nightmares tonight

You can't help but root for him, beg him to show remorse, to say he would have never killed anyone. But ultimately he can't admit that, but at the same time he doesn't feel joy over it either. Even after conquering UCN, even if he finds redemption and puts his demons to rest, he's still stuck. He'll never escape from the consequences of his actions.

This reminds me of those weird stopmotion/surreal films I would seldom come across on tv while changing channels when I was little. They were eerie, melancholic, weirdly nostalgic, and at times disturbing, but ever so beautiful and captivating. That's how I felt while watching this.
I absolutely adore your interpretation of William here, he's cold, heartless, and a husk of his former self; you can feel the emptiness behind his eyes. But even then, he's still human; he feels real.
He acts like an actual psychopath, he doesn't feel guilt for what he's done, not because he enjoyed it, but because he's literally unable to.
William's interactions with his kids are something I love so much. Even though he's a sick individual, and he indirectly caused the deaths of Mike, Lizzie and Dave. He still cares about them, to the point that he'll go out of his way to bring them peace.
Lizzie and Dave loving their father unconditionally like most kids would, and Mike having this love-hate relationship with his dad is so perfect.
Man, William's interactions with Elizabeth are just so wholesome and tender but in such a sad way.
William doesn't deserve any sort of redemption, but I can't avoid to feel for him in this. Just tragic.
The flesh-Springtrap and flesh-Freddy are just so disturbing; Old Man Consequences design is brilliant; and the Scraptrap model is top notch. I like that there's no voice acting in this, it fits the vibe 100%.
This film *oozes* passion; the detail, the dialogue, the movement, the backgrounds, everything is absolutely *phenomenal*. Hell, at one point I got all choked up.

I rarely comment but this is so amazing. The animations, the quality, you can clearly see the hard work behind this. It felt so immersive too, I loves the fact we could see William's hallucinations and the fact they were more distorted rather than normal models chasing him, I think it was exactly like this for him. This is fucking incredible. You really did an amazing job reincorporating aesthetic elements from the franchise (static, phone ringing, silence, etc) in really cool ways that gave me skinamarink vibes for sure. Really something special.
i've never seen a fan project of this quality. this *transcends* a fan project. this is genuinely not just an incredible fnaf film, but an incredible film in general. this managed to keep my focus for an entire hour without ever getting boring. every little detail, every bit of dialogue never felt out of place. the characters all feel genuine and nuanced, while still maintaining who they are in the games.
this is seriously a masterpiece of art/surrealist horror. i look forward to any future projects you make, since i'll certainly be watching those too.
This is genuinely really, REALLY impressive. While the dialogue is sometimes a bit off, this is far, FAR outweighed by the amazing visuals and scenes. Genuinely a really cool take on Williams death and "hell".
I love this to death. The designs, the imagery, and especially the metaphors. There is no "handholding" when it comes to storytelling. It's all metaphorical, leaving the viewer to decipher what the imagery means based on the events in the lore of the FNaF universe.
The film is so cryptic, vague and anomalous. It leaves you unsatisfied. There’s no real explanation except for your own imagination and visuals. It makes you wants to watch through again. The film is very disturbing. It genuinely makes me sick, and that is what the creator intended. He intended for it to be unsatisfactory, to be cryptic, gross, and fever-dreamish, and they damn-well nailed it.
I genuinely want to know more about the film and it’s creator. What was the inspiration? What was the direction? Why did the creator design the characters and entities the way they did?

Absolutely outstanding work. I’m a little slow, so I didn’t really understand a lot of the crazier symbolism and stuff despite being a fnaf lore-head, but this is genuinely a work of art. I adore the visuals and aesthetic, the characterizations in the dialogue and the amazing cinematography and sound design. I haven’t felt so positive about a fnaf fan work in forever, you and everyone involved deserve to stand proud with this years long labor of love. I don’t know if you ever plan on doing something like this, but I’d love a directors commentary of sorts over this one day. Hearing how this was made and such with the people involved would be a dream.

I love for starters, the ScrapTrap redesign: how the skeleton is MUCH better and how he doesn’t have that weird visible skull in the mask, and it’s just flesh now.
But what I love MORE is how you handled Afton and his family, most fanworks depict Afton as either despising or just tolerating his family, but this one’s a lot better. Sure, yeah- Aftons a heartless monster who doesn’t care nor regret the fact he killed 5+ children, yet he still cares about his own. Makes him feel atleast a BIT more human.
