Valid ID issued by the state? That is a poll tax here buddy! All you have to tell them is your name and sign by your name, if you are already registered. In this country we must be very careful with placing obstacles in front of people, especially monetary ones. There were others like guessing the number of jelly beans in a jar correctly. Those are too obvious now so they attempt to place monetary burdens on the targeted groups. Perhaps now that the courts deemed racism is over and they repealed the voting rights act we will go back to those days.
