- Live from outside the American Hospital in Beirut. Lebanese state media and security officials say dozens of people have been injured in Beirut’s suburbs after their handheld pagers exploded.
Dozens of members of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah have been seriously wounded after pagers they use to communicate exploded, security officials say.
A Hezbollah official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters news agency the detonation of the pagers was the "biggest security breach" the group has faced in nearly a year of war with Israel.

Hezbollah has restricted the use of mobile phones to avoid Israeli communication interception and instead relied on other communication devices, which have reportedly been destroyed in an explosion. In response to this, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the incident as an "Israeli cyberattack," and Hezbollah has declared its intention to retaliate.

😖😭😭 no the li-ion batteries were not used as explosive components, the pagers were apparently fitted with them to be location triggers. 😫😖 I’m not going to explain details despite my knowledge of easily knowing how to do such things, I keep a self proclaimed oath to be a good person and not to do, or teach bad things 🥺🥺
