When you remember that Starscream was so dumb that he fell for Hounds holograms in 3 episodes in a row.
OH THATS WHY STARSCREAM KILLED HIM
Megatron: your either lying or your lying or you're stupid

Don’t disrespect Hound’s skills.

Megatron: oh I know, I just wanted to hear you say it

basically anyone killed by a Cosmic powered Starscream is basically expected and part of the meme at this point
"COME ON!!!" lol my exact reaction. Poor hound :P
Cosmic powered starscream is the marvel comics version of transformers the movie
My exact thoughts
What's next? Starscream killed by a cosmically powered starscream
Character: *exists*
A cosmically empowered starscream: I'm about to end this mans whole career
Autobots and decepticons: *chuckles* We’re in danger
I read that in tom kenny's voice
Requirements for any Transformers character:
Neat alternate mode
Endearing personality
Cool power or area of expertise
Killed by a cosmically powered Starscream
Did I miss something? Why is everyone suddenly making a meme out of Cosmically-Empowered Starscream killing everyone?

Also because Cosmically-Empowered Starscream killed a *lot* of bots in the Underbase saga.
Not Optimus and a few others
Now I’m imagining a cosmically powered starscream all alone after killing everyone
@@harrybechtle4333 unfortunately, Starscream would lose control of his power and disintegrate, making him the final victim of a cosmically powered Starscream

Agreed. Bayverse ver. reminded me always about bulkhead.
the bayverse, where subtly goes to dies in flames and explosions.
Will it be Optimus clone or Cosmic Starscream that kills him? Oh, it's both!
Poor guy
I really need to know about cosmically powered Starscream and his staggering kill count
You don't really want to know...you just THINK you do. One of the WORST Marvel/Hasbro cop out storylines EVER, all in an effort to eliminate existing characters from (then) current lines (just like the '86 movie), to make room for the new toyline characters... Even though the series ended shortly thereafter with issue 80.
There was REALLY no justifiable reason to kill all of those characters off. Would have been very simple to phase them out, or push them back into support/background roles, and bring in the new guys for the main gig, BUT they were STUPID about it and so they wasted all of those characters for no real reason at all, other than to "sell" how powerful cosmic powered Starscream was wielding the power of the UNDERBASE... (Really?!) Smh.
That being said, if you're interested in an Underbase powered Starscream figure... Pick up the SIEGE Starscream and you'll have him....except the figure has a MUCH better face, but is not a cosmically oversized Titan class version...
A lot of Autobots, and also himself.
Somebody made a compilation of every time chris mcfeely said “killed by a cosmically powered star scream”
Matrix Animations transformers animated season 4 made that video
Looks like a job for James a jannes
Always wondered where he went after the pilot. Still I think Cosmic powered Starscream might be close to unicron's kill count.
Actually cosmically powered starscream has probably killed more
Depends on how many you count, really. If you add up all the Starscream casualties from that one issue, you get 55 characters (not counting dead combiners). The UK comic adds another seven. And that's not counting the characters who never appeared after that issue and might have died offscreen.
I'm not sure if you added up every named character killed by Unicron, it would equal that number.
@@misterbadguy7325 so confirmed kills:62

@@themostbritishpersonalive868 Someone crazier than me could probably run up that tally. But the most named characters Unicron ever wiped out in a single story was around seventeen, in On The Edge of Extinction.

the irony that G1 Hound's role was meant to be the OG Bumblebee and later in The Last Knight Bumblebee is a green military vehicle during WW2.

@@liljdm5374 um, where did i say G1 and the Bayverse are 'connected'? i knew the G1 universe and the live action universe are not related, what i meant is G1 Hound and Bumblebee is a parallel to the Bayverse versions Hound and Bumblebee, the latter's case their roles seem to reference each other.
@@vustvaleo8068 mmmm? What? So you're saying the roles are the same? Or similar? I don't know because they aren't that similar...
@@liljdm5374 G1 Hound was meant to be the young kid appeal character in the pilot episodes but that role was instead given to Bumblebee probably because a yellow Volkswagen Beetle fits a kid appeal character better than a green military jeep which ironically Bumblebee in The Last Knight also turns into green military vehicle during WW2, which to me is like call back to the G1 pilot episodes of Hound's character in terms of design.
Lol what
Call me crazy, but... I think I kinda have fun with Movie-verse Hound, despite being so different from the original. But I think this video also brought to light that despite his importance in the original pilot, he's really done very little of impact since then. Might be why I'm so entertained with him in the movies, as superficial as it sounds.
I really like him in the movies. John Goodman is just always a good time. The scene in AoE where he just keeps pulling out new guns is one of my favourites
@@EvilLobsterKing he was packing a lot of guns and made very good use of them

The Bayverse is a poor alternate reality version of Transformers. It bears only a tangential relationship to the sacred timeline Transformers.

Shocking pika99 - That should have been Bulkhead, not Hound
I feel like Movie Hound was in all likelihood Bulkhead renamed. His design and alt mode were definitely more representative of this. And there were a few references here and there, particularly having Izabel sitting on his shoulder similar to both Suri and Miko. Thar said his personality was more representative of Walter from Big Lebowski, also played by John Goodman. And there were several lines carried over from the movie as well as bickering with Daytraider played by the same actor that played Donny in Big Lebowski.
For having such a cool power (that intimidated even Devastator), he gets the short stick in every animated incarnation. I do like the AOE version, mostly for one thing: GUNS!

Hound was the very 1st Transformer I owned. My parents were poor, so I got Gobots instead of Transformers. However, one year right after Christmas, my mom and I were in a long line at the Department store to exchange a duplicate Gobot I got as a gift. The lady in front of us was there to exchange a duplicate Hound her son had gotten. They got to talking and agreed to simply trade toys rather than wait in that absurdly long line. To this day Hound is still one of my favorite Autobots.

I honestly kind of had a headcanon explanation for bayverse hound. After the decpticons got duped a few to many times by his holograms, they just stopped caring. They would throw some cannon fodder at the suspected trick, and if it was real all they lost was some dingey drone. If it was fake, they proceded to try and hunt down hound, which led to him carrying a few different guns around just because how much they hated him. And after governments of the world went full genocidal against the cybertronions, he stopped exploring out out of necessity. These two factors started to feed into eachother and eventually led to the fat, armory toting military truck of the movie.
Alternators Hound was one of my favorites of the line. He was perfect.
I was about to pause the video and comment when Marvel Comics Hound was offlined and it was not by the cosmically powered Starscream...only then to see that he was the second time. The Basics own little drinking game continues. It sure will be a sad day for the Basics when there will no longer be a need to talk about the cosmically powered Starscream.
The 2014 hound should of been named bulkhead.
It makes a lot of sense

I always liked Hound. Crazy how they put the flip on him from the Pilot to the Main G1 series.
My favorite has to be Siege, that was my first figure from the line and man is he cool.
Hound was the 1st Transformer I bought back during G1 and he was the 1st for the new siege line which has been blowing me away with what has been coming out for the toy line

Hound was one of my favorites! He's the Autobot's scout so I always imagined he'd be away, "out in the field" relentlessly searching for Decepticon activity and a very adept warrior as well.
Of course Hound, who is a Jeep, has Warn winch....look at you with all that money for a Warn.
Hound had a couple of good scenes in Target: 2006 with Ultra Magnus.
I actually prefer Hound to Bee and wish he'd have stayed the kid-appeal character. However, this begs the question: had this happened, would've future Kid-Appeal characters still be yellow or green instead?
PS: Basics on Deathsaurus?
You could have mentioned that (the second) live-action movie Hound is actually an homage to Bulkhead just with Hound's name slapped onto him. I guess because Hound is way more popular.
I’d Argue Bulkhead is way more popular and it was his popularity especially with Children was what made Hasbro change the name to Hound in the movies. They probably didn’t want kids to see Bulkhead swearing and threatening to shoot allies. Although this is purely my theory on what happened.

The Hound in the movies was inspired by Bulkhead
He basically is Bulkhead.
Design wise, yes in terms of his more popular depiction.
Character wise he fits more with the Energon depiction.

If you really think about it, the movie Hound is more akin to Transformers Prime Bulkhead and I feel like he has more in common with him than the Generation 1 character. Maybe, just maybe, because of Prime's popularity, they wanted to include Bulkhead in the movie, but decided that it was time for another guy from G1 to come back in this way. In my Transformers roleplay, we've reimagined the crew of Animated into the cast of Age of Extinction, with Bulkhead in Hound's place.
