Bruins fan since the sixties here. I say shame on the veteran players here. Get out there and play yer asses off! Go out and earn your money! We see a team playing like shit, then we see them in pregame tunnel laughing and playing around. When you're winning it's fun to watch. But when you suck, we'd like to see a bunch of pissed off, focused guys getting ready to get out there and kick some ass! This team is soft and I can't blame this coach! Thanks Monty! You're a helluva man and good luck to you going forward!
100% From years of watching hockey the coaches are always the scapegoats but like Brian said above shame on the players you're PAID to play so play. We all work or have worked with supervisors we don't like on certain days or etc.. Most of us still showed up did our job and did what we were paid to do!! I don't see the change of coach temporarily fixing what the issue is.
One less excuse to be used. Shoulda' been Sweeney imo. Maybe 3 out of 4 lines will have to prove it isn't them. Good luck and respect to Monty. Go Bruins.

While I understand coaches are the easy target when a team plays poorly there is plenty of blame to go around. Management put this team together. They missed the mark. The players should be embarrassed. Did they just forget how to play in the Bruin system ? Most have been here throughout Monty’s tenure. They cost a good man his livelihood. Watching them play is painful at best. No passion. Many look to be just going through the motions. In the real world many would get fired ,but in the world of professional sports it doesn’t happen and they go on collecting their large checks for poor performances.
Cam and Don are hiding behind the "ex-player" persona and that needs to go. They did not pay players that helped Monty be successful and then don't give him anything in return this year. Bench the so called leaders whom are doing nothing. Jacobs family acting like Krafts clueless on what is going on with the team and uses the coach as an escapegoat.
Isn't Sacco been coaching the PP? How will this improve if he has been responsible for coaching the PP all along. He has been on staff right along, no new "voice in the room.". Doesn't add up. Just saying.
And Sweeny lives. Why??? Personnel has declined and the draft picks leave a lot to be desired. Fans scream about BB draft picks>. Sweeny's have been putred. And he has a job. As Leo Durocher said-Good guys finish last. Sweeny must be a good guy? Did he approach it that I gave the coach players and it is upon him to make them perform. Don Sweeney should be next and cam Neely if you’re gonna keep giving coaches chain change and do this all the time and you get you don’t get rid of your GM and your president. You’re never gonna win a selling cover again. You guys explain to me that.
If we were getting rid of Monty I was hoping they were bringing in coach Q, but idk what’s going on with this move, but I mean teams not a great great team but there still a playoff roster lol, management coaching players they all have a piece in this but I hate that we are replacing Monty with the guy who runs our PP and PK and both are ass, i think the biggest thing is Monty lost the lockeroom and idk if him snd 63 exactly got along
