- We have a very interesting match between a construction worker and our boxing girl Zhang Meili. The more we look at these matches, the more we see Meili's bad habits come through. I actually missed a hook that landed too. I didn't land at the correct distance so it more pushed Meili. But that's why she dropped to her knees briefly. I was once assaulted by a construction worker who didn't know how to fight. He literally ran into my fist... And then he sued me.

Its always up to the individual and how involved he is with his training, for example the average serious boxer recognizes the importance of running at least 5 miles a day in order to have good stamina and endurance as part of his training, and in doing so he is well aware of this capability and this alone is a huge advantage over any other regardless of style or craft that doesn't put in stamina work (running)

I accidentally uploaded the video on Valentine's Day, so it's normal to think so ;) But I'm glad I uploaded on VDay.
I know men tend to be stronger and faster than women. But this girl is well trained. She is strong and fast and technically proficient. And they are the same weight class. Construction guy had no chance.
Just my opinion, but i think for 90% of the general population could use mauy thai training more than most other forms when it comes to common self defense and practical street fighting. Kenpo can add in some really good defense and blocking too. Sambo is another really good real world fighting style.
Mma fights are a whole different ball of wax.
I think Meili would do well in ONE if she wanted to, though she would probably need a different coach to help her shore up some of her weaknesses.
I don't think so. Maybe she could outstrike some of the women in the UFC. ONE's striking is too good for Meili. Most of ONE's girls would have answered her aggression with crisp powerful counters and stuffed her attack. But yeah, she definitely needs a better coach.
Until she runs into a 15 year old Thai girl who’s been training for 10 years
I agree that she is a total coward. Someone who is trained enough to be a pro fighter, but fighting totally untrained people, is pathetic.

Meili is good at working the angles and head movement but needs to keep her guard up more.

I am born and raised in New York City. I experienced the same thing from Eastern Europeans in the NYC. I took a sambo class in Manhattan in 2014. 🙄 A lot of those guys have crazy egos.

I've sparred a Krav Maga guy at a point where I've only taken a few informal lessons from a former Bouncer who taught Wing Chun and Hung Gar, and a few informal lessons from a platoon mate who trained Muay Thai in Thailand, while he's been taking regular Krav Maga classes.
I didn't even get to use any real technique from my WC, Hung Gar and MT. I just came out on top in every exchange on the outside just with basic fighting fundamentals, and none of his Krav Maga worked against my basic WC frames and fundamentals.
Most Krav Maga guys don't have any real fighting fundamentals. None of his "eyes, throat and groin" attacks could get through the basic Wing Chun tan sao frame that guards the centerline.

Hats off to her she definitely dominated that guy 😊👍. As for the construction worker he has strength in those punches but lacks the technique to keep his head covered everytime he throws a punch. Made him an easy target to her counter punches.... Still I think he did a better job than some of those " kung fu master" 😂.
You can tell she's not that good - she's just trying to out punch or out kick him - no strategy - no trying to set him up.

Construction guy looks like he has some experience or at least watches a lot of fighting because he had good movement. In terms of strength higher workers and landscaping would probably be the strongest

I'm an Ex- Pro Boxer, Kickboxer, Cage Fighter, & Martial Arts, studied 3 different styles Black Belt in one. On a Female, I trained my own Step-daughter for self defense & comfort feeling of protection. As far as ME competing any where on any level, NO FEMALE WILL EVER WHOOP/ BEAT ME
If you were pro and actually did all that, okay. Did you have some reason you needed to assert that you can beat any and every woman? Do you feel better now that you've declared it to everyone who reads these comments?

I could beat the construction worker, but I am literally twice his size and have decades of training and experience fighting behind me.
Meili, I would not fight. There is nothing in it for me. I have fought women at work (almost 5 years in an urban emergency department, we fought every night) and it was never enjoyable. I always felt unsettled afterwards.
What happened in the Urban Emergency Dept? Was it just uncooperative patients?
The labor and delivery floor could be quite fun. Especially when the parents were both the same race and the baby came out mixed.
Some patients have psychotic (in the medical sense of the word) reactions to medication. I remember one person that had surgery involving running a cable from her femoral artery to remove a blood clot in her heart. She had a psychotic reaction to the anesthesia and when she came out of surgery started fighting. She dislodged the catheter in her femoral artery and nearly bled to death. It took four of us to hold her down while a nurse tried to stop the bleeding.
Another time a psych patient grabbed my left testicle and tried to rip it off because I was trying to convince him to take his medicine. I had to pull his hand off and feel my ball squeeze through his fist. I damn near broke his arm for that.

@@FightCommentary they are nothing special honestly that sort of thing happens at emergency departments around the world. It would be easier for you to find guys local to your area that work hospital security.
In the UK where privacy laws are different they had a COPS type show that followed some hospital security types around. There are episodes on RUclips, though I am afraid I cannot remember the name.

Yes woman are naturally weaker than men.. the point is she's defying that strength with actual tactical skills which is awesome to see.. usually even trained woman would lose depending on weight and martial background. Also she was pretty controlled/ composed I'd say despite the difference in strength/ weight.
