Just saw you on Seths channel. I’m very interested in your teaching style. You have a great energy when answering questions. I look forward to going thru your library.
The only way to say this is that I love every single video you put out.!!! You are awesome, and the way you explain everything your intensity is and your energy. It's addictive, thank you very much Shifu Lee!
Man, why are some comments being negative about this? Can’t you just admire the teaching he’s providing, rather than embracing the mindset of “Fighting is the Greatest!!! Combat Sports Superior!!”? Just let people do what they want to do Anyways, good video and explanation man. Hope to do Wing Chun someday
wow your way to explaining wing chun is very good i like that realy I learned wing chun too and i think its the real way for defense and a good martialarts for learning Respekt on you Kevin Lee
Mostly a good presentation of the first 8 moves...9 is ½ wrong...your ending of hyperextending double elbows the left in the 9th move is your clip end palm strike up their right elbow..along with what you present--a hook-cover.-Ernie Moore Jr.. You do 10 where 9 should be and a variation of 9 at 10th move [and you throw-in an 11th ¿?bil?¿--palm down finger poking.-Ernie Moore Jr. Thank you for your overall really good presentation of a section of the routine.-Ernie Moore Jr.
Man I wish I could have done one of these when I was in my karate class those wooden dummy boards are not half bad actually pretty cool for your car right techniques depending on your ability in martial arts for Kung Fu and karate or any other technique as long as you try and move your body more quicker become more powerful 🥋💪😉👍💪
Add some Iron Palm to it. 90 days and you can break cinderblock’s with your bear hands. I have been doing Wing Chun and Iron Palm for over forty years now. Stay Awesome!
Watching your various videos displaying practical applications of so many styles, you are amazing - particularly as not many true experts are able to articulate so well. Thank you. 👌👍🙏🙏🙏
It’s very interesting and I can see how as a system it works, but how does it integrate range? I’ve studied various things and when facing off against Wing Chun I’ve learnt sitting in the pocket is a bad idea… but darting in and out is very effective… no disrespect to the art as I know single opponents in all styles vary in skill and are not representative of their whole fighting style.
I do love Kung Fu and wing Chun ... I am more of a fighter than a firm's person however, the forms were made to remember the style and when you teach and remember the style it's good to have proper form. In wing Chun people sometimes ... And I use some JKD wing Chun and Shaolin in my Kung Fu and I use boxing In wing Chun ... People sometimes stress the drills too much. You don't need contact for instance to do wing Chun. Contact drilling like chi sau is sensitivity drilling for when there is natural contact if you post block or strike and there is natural contact. You are allowed to seek the bridge contact but you don't have to. You can just fight. Fighting has pros and cons ... Sensitivity and moderate positioning versus power ... You shouldn't teach ot just one way teach it in a spectrum of possibilities.
1. You learn proper position during strikes and the footwork, since in wing chun it's minimalistic and focused mostly around controlling the centerline. 2. Efficiency of movement (and precision since your arms have a limited space to move), angle of your arms (for deflection) and conditioning of the parts of your arms that need it. The rest can be practiced without the dummy but you have forms like this one which utilize the wooden dummy, striking it while practicing defense. Wing Chun isn't the best martial art but Kevin Lee is one of the best teachers and practitioners of it.

Actually combat sports are the most inferior, because it isn't real fighting.

Good and meaningful teaching.

nice, thanks you!
Hello Sifu, from Belgium, l'am happy to meet you.
Great basics of the MJ.
This guy knows a bunch of martial arts
This actually was cool to see! But as Mike Tyson once said - Everyone has a plan till they get punched!
And that, is what sparring is for
See that's a lot to remember....

Ya en el segundo movimiento me mareé! Jajaja
Thank you for the lesson!
Whats difference between gan sao and kwan sao?
Great👍
Good form brother.
B 4:I believe it wing lee
You're missing the neck pull, Kevin. You need to reach around a little more. And the horse is wrong too. You need to push horse instead of stepping..
It’s very interesting and I can see how as a system it works, but how does it integrate range?

I do karate, but would this work too if I did it but since I’m planning on doing karate, could it help in karate?
Gak sakit ka itu tangan 😮

Out of curiosity and not judgment, what is the purpose of utilizing this kind of equipment?
1. You learn proper position during strikes and the footwork, since in wing chun it's minimalistic and focused mostly around controlling the centerline.
