Who won?
Both of them 😇
Loved how both sides showed their moves. Very cool!
WING CHUN all the way! James Franco had no chance 😂☯️🐉🐲
We the one who was watching😂
Both of U did GR8
As a Wing Chun man myself,I think Zen's techniques were awesome. To my way of thinking,it's not about who is better or worse,it's about what works in a real situation. The utmost respect to all styles of martial arts.
Holy crap I didn’t realize I was talking for so long 😂😂
Yes you did😂😂😂
Felt like you were channeling Master Ken there 😆
This being added in voluntarily by Kevin makes me like the both of you ten times more. lol
Lmao 😅
You also looked sleepy sensei, coz probably you were!😂
I wasn't going to comment but after skimming the section I wanted to make this observation: Zen's karate is very technical and looks great. I did Shotokan for 7 years as a kid, so while I am no expert or even a practitioner anymore, I have seen enough instructors/competitors to know when somebody moves well and he definitely does. Okinawan styles have less rigid movement and emphasize the whipping motion more at the end of their techniques. Kevin was great as always, I just wanted to throw a compliment in Zen's way too.
I can’t believe Sensei Seth infiltrated my video! 😟
He interrupted the program for a quick announcement like a breaking newscaster lol
I also have a suspicion he threw in that singing at the end as a sneaky little reference to Jesse. He can’t keep getting away with destroying the barriers between worlds like this.
😂😂😂😂😂
but he sings in the video, I pressed the like button at that very moment 😅👍
😂I thought it was a RUclips commercial!
The real winner is us. We got to see some dope choreography and Sensei Seth sneaking in to talk some smack.
Seth’s collaboration is good to understand from another point of view
Anyone think that Seth looks like Luka Doncic?
@@jfearless3420 Always. 😂😂🤣🤣 Genetics are fascinating.
That karate had some amazing moves you can tell he studies a legit style and is so crisp with everything, I aspire to be as good as him one day.
My 2 cents, from someone who practiced Karate Shito-Ryu for 12 years and Wing Chun for about 20: the difference is in the practitioner. If you only do katas and chi sao, you’re screwed no doubt. If you do sparring and pressure training, you may succeed with any martial art.
People forget that Kevin has skills from other MARTIAL ARTS(Muay Thai, Savate, Eskrima, BJJ, etc...) hidden in his Wing Chun. HE HAS THE POWER.
Timestamps for the Wing chun moves:
1. Haymaker: 1:57
2. Knife stab: 2:20
3. Knife slash: 2:43
4. Shirt grab and punch to the face: 3:08
5. Front tackle: 3:34
6. Headbutt: 5:44
7. Headlock: 6:11
8. Knee to the groin: 6:38
9. Low kick to the leg: 7:05
10. Bearhug from behind: 7:38
Moves that aren't even wing chun, dude had a bland of other styles
@@H3llzrav3n like the kick to the head, it is a wing-chun classic lol
I felt with the knife attacks, the karate moves controlled the knife arm more than the wing chun techniques.
Lol, "That is Karate, you can tell by the way that it is..." I wasn't expecting a Neature Walk reference from Seth.
lol "you took the last one from the ip man movie..." 🤣💯
Wing Chun should have won by one point when you tried to disarm an opponent with a weapon on hand. If you look closely, Wing Chun disarmed an opponent's weapon which you should always go for while karate went for the opponent's body instead of the weapon. Let's not the forget that the weapon was near his neck if you watch the video again.
After seeing you and Jesse Enkamp do similar videos on this it would be great to see a bunch of different martial arts used and compared for these common attacks
I love how Zen's response for #10 was straight-up just Naihanchi
Pleasure to get beat up by these talented Martial Artist and the headgear was much appreciated!
I had fun watching this.I'm asking for more "such" duels. Kudos to the stuntman.
Ameri-Dote is #1
Always restomp
@@kidflash9905 x10 re-stomp that groin
😂
It’s too deadly to test 🤷🏾♂️
Hail Master Ken!!! I think the “Hurticane” may do well in these instances 😂
Given the fact that Wing Chun & Karate are both siblings and have the same parent art (White Crane) I think they're equal & deserve that tie.
Wow! I've never seen Seibukan represented online! His demonstration gave me some serious nostalgia. I was lucky to have trained at the Seibukan dojo in Okinawa many years ago. Shimbakuro!
This video is amazing. I have trained in Seibukan Karate at the Brown Belt level, and I've also practiced a verry bit of Wing Chun from one of your fellow students under Sifu Francis Fong. Thank you for this fantastic video, and I wish you good health.
@@chiphan6729 that’s awesome!!!!
People critiquing this vid are taking it WAY too seriously 😂
Great video! Different techniques, but each one has its own efficiency. Thanks for posting!

Effectiveness & Practicality:
-----------------------------------------------
1. Haymaker: Wing Chun
2. Knife Stab: Wing Chun
3. Knife Slash: Wing Chun
4. Shirt Grab & Face Punch: Wing Chun
5. Front Tackle: Both but Slant to Karate
6. Head Butt: Wing Chun (chain palm strike to the face / Bil Jee Eye jab) or Karate nose palm strike)
7. Head Lock: Karate
8. Knee to Groin: Wing Chun
9. Low kick to leg: Wing Chun
10. Bear Hug: Wing Chun
So happy when I saw that recreated Ip Man scene lol. Great vid.
It’s easy to predict a countermeasure when you know what the attack is going to be
I hope Jesse Enkamp will watch this.
As a Kung fu guy,I was partial to Wing Chun, but the Karate guy was cool too!😎
Okay Kevin, okay Zen, I will judge this fair by not only giving points to Wing Chun or Karate, but by explaining why I would favor the one or the other. Let´s start:
1. Haymaker - point goes to Wing Chun:
Here it´s not so much of importance what you do after you´ve defended the Haymaker attack, because they both have good ideas to follow-up. What is of importance is who of them stopped the force of the haymaker more effective or more economic to then go for a counter offensive. Since both - Wing Chun and Karate - understood that they had to block the opponents swinging arm - due to power management - at his inside of the bend of the elbow (not a the wrist!), Wing Chun did it more effectively by using a Biu Sao motion, where you spear your arm out to meet the attack at the earliest to stop it much further away from you - taking the power out of it. Much like a starting plane which is denied a proper runway. If you combine this thrusting motion with cutting the angle of the attack and wrapping your hand around the opponents arm to utilize a spiral energy, the hook doesn´t have a chance to even develop its full power potential. Karate did use more of an upper block to defend against the Haymaker - again ... on the right spot - but letting the swinging arm getting more closer, which can be dangerous if your adversary just has long arms and his collapsing forearm might connect to you even you blocked it.
2. Knife stab - no points given - Karate and Wing Chun sucks:
Karate - the double cross arm downward block Gedan Juji Uke in combination with your leg placed back into a front stance may safe you from being stabbed to the stomach at first, but leaves your whole face and upper body unprotected. An attacker would simply follow-up-punching you into your face, free his knife and then stab you to death. Or, as soon as his knife hand got blocked, he would turn up the blade to the sky, rake it back and cut your wrists. If he is very good he would also trap your crossed arms with just one arm while pulling the knife back. Furthermore, as you did the arm lock while you brought your opponent to the floor, the knife hand was fully alive and at the end rested onto your neck. If you do not control the knife hand at all times your just dead meat. In process of the arm lock the uncontrolled knife hand can do severe danger to yourself since elbow and wrist is free to move and has enough space to even stab you in the neck area. Your "opponent" was placing the knife hand here very relaxed and motionless onto your shoulder - nice gesture, but reality would kill you.
Wing Chun - what you did great was to step out of the way of the attack! When attacked by a bladed weapon and in a thrusting manner it is more important to avoid it then to block it. What you did next was to simultaneously Pak Sao (slapping hand) and palm strike, then switching to Lap Sao (pulling hand) and Fak Sao (chopping hand or arm strike). Here starts the problem: maybe you can pull this off against an unarmed attacker who wants to punch you, but against a knife thrust it´s very unlikely. See, if you do Pak Sao and palm strike you´ve just one hand in control of the knife hand while you´re palm striking. If the palm strike is not enough to stun your opponent quite well or if the palm strike is blocked, your one-hand-control is not sufficient to manage the knife hand, because your attacker can pull back the knife using not just his arm but his entire body mechanics or simply redirect his knife into another angle of attack. When you did the switching into Lap Sao and Fak Sao things got even more worse, because for an blink of an eye you lost entire control of the knife hand, which is absolute inadequate.
3. Knife slash - point goes to Karate:
Karate applies once again the Juji Uke (cross arm block) but this time at Jodan (high) level. What I liked is the initial evading movement to the outside while applying Juji Uke. Since the knife blade and tip is not pointing downward and the attacker commits to his motion, I would say there is certain probability to survive with your Karate response. What I liked too is that your Juji Uke provided a double hand control on the knife arm with which you guided the attack along its way and down, not obstructing the attackers motion but redirecting it downwards. Then groin kick and shuto (knife hand) chop to the neck - okay. I would have liked it more, if you had maintained the double hand control, kicked and then dragged your opponend down to the floor for ground control and disarmament, but it´s okay. Wing Chun on contrary puts its whole defense on a stopkick, blocking the knife hand attack only afterwards. If your stop kick hasn´t the desired effect, your block wouldn´t be substantial enough to stop the force of the coming down knife hand. Karate keep in mind: I give you this credit only according to this specific attack situation, where we have an attacker who commits to his attack and follows a clear attacking path. Anything else: knife is pointing downwards, angle of attack is not clear to assume, attacker is feinting, attacker is wielding wildly and in a unpredictable way - you would suck with your techniques as much as Wing Chun would.
4. Shirt grab + punch to the face - point goes to Karate:
Karate does what Wing Chun should be famous for - simplicity! As the attacker grabs, Karate instantly went for a direct counter attack to the attackers throat or jaw. That´s what self-defense is meant to be - not playing around, but to counter strike immediately. I would have liked it more, if you had took control over the grabbing hand at the same time you struck your opponent, but the fact that your engaged directly right after being grabbed assured you to win this point. To control the grabbing hand would be the topping to make sure that your opponent doesn´t have the option to disengage and strike you with the grabbing hand. Your counter strike utilized the concept of intercepting or direct counter attacking which is for example in Shito Ryu Karate to be referred as Hangeki - a flower greets the morning sun. This concept of intercepting or direct counter attacking ensures that your attacker is busy defending or gets stunned, while you keep the initiative for more attacks to be followed. So, you instantly counter attack and then attack, attack and attack some more to oversaturate and overcome your opponents reaction or defense. Bonus for Karate: if your initial throat or jaw strike wouldn´t have suceeded, you would have had a good chance to block the incoming punch of the attacker with your attacking arm since your counter strike was same sided as the highly expected punch of your adversary. Wing Chun on contrary focussed first on controlling and manipulating the grabbing hand with two hands, which was unnecessary to do and set a time delay from which the attacker could profit and launch his secondary attack - the punch to the face. This would have put Wing Chun more and more into defense - a place we don´t want to be! Okay, Wing Chun also followed with a Fak Sao (chopping hand or arm strike) to the throat of the attacker and does some more techniques to put him down, but in the initial response Karate was more direct and efficient.
5. Front tackle - point goes to Karate and to Wing Chun - a draw:
Karate and Wing Chun both realized that thay had to step out in a 45 degree angle to avoid meeting the force of the tackle. Karate beautyfully used a Uchi Uke (inner forearm block) as a frame on his opponents neck to put diagnonal pressure on him and his base of stability, while Wing Chun did the same by using a Kwan Sao motion (rotating hand). After that, both - Karate and Wing Chun - used striking to subdue their opponents. Karate used a head control and repeatedly executed punches while Wing Chun used a elbow strike and a takedown. Both did right, both win a point.
6. Headbutt - point goes Karate:
Honestly, the decision was not easy, but I found Karate to be a bit more direct and massively counter offensive as Wing Chun. Karate did something I really like - simultaneously controlling on of the opponents holding arms while striking with a Jodan (high) level Empi Uchi (elbow strike) like an uppercut between arms of the assailant. In this combined motion lies also a very effective pull-push-momentum. When we assume that the attacked intended to headbutt, the elbow strike of Karate right under the forthcoming head of the attacker is a fight ender! Wing Chun did it also good, but in my opinion not simply and crushing like Karate. Wing Chun used the double crossed arms position out of the first form, when the arms are places horizontal to the ground and parallel above each other right before they separate for a simultaneous double arm strike left and right. This crossed arms position was used to stop the headbutt of the attacker and of course to hit him in the face or in both of his temples. Afterwards Wing Chun was dealing with the holding arms. Could work, yes of course. But I believe that the elbow strike of Karate solves the problem once and for all. Wing Chun Bonus: the crossed arms position over the holding arms of the attacker provided a excellent overall control against any possible striking attempt of the arms of the attacker. But if we assume that after the headbutt there would be a striking attempt - Karate has one arm grabbed and due to the elbow strike a very good face cover block build up against a possible secondary hook of the attackers holding arm, which is not under control.
To be continiued ...
This dude here analysing sensei and masters from other side of the screen, i mean who tf r u even , and are u even qualified for this?
Accurately describing mike tyson's quote "everyone has a plan until they are punched in the face"
each style could play out in a real-life situation. Great breakdown of the strengths and weaknesses!
This is great! I love how both sides use different techniques to counter certain situations and noticed how Kevin used plenty of takedowns when he’s up. Both sides used good takedowns. Zen used a sepai move in the knee to groin scenario. Loved the last move Kevin used from the Ip-Man movie.
As a Goju Ryu karateka, I thought of some counters as well:
1) Haymaker: use the first 3 moves of Gekisai 1 or 2
2) Knife stab: use the throw move in Kururunfa
3) Knife slash: rising block to then grab knife hand and break the arm from Seipai
4) Shirt Grab + Punch: 2nd to last move in Seiyunchin
5) Front Tackle: Final three moves in Seipai
6) Headbutt: Uppercut+back fist+downward block as a takedown from Seiyunchin
7) Headlock: Leg pick+ and down toss from Seipai
8) Knee to groin: same as #7
9) Low kick to leg: Lift front leg to Stomp Kick to kicking leg and take down from Sanseru
10) Bear hug from Behind: Cat stance+ back elbow from Seiyunchin combined with open palm strikes from Shisochin
Both of them are great!
Kevin! Your are absolute amazing!
Great vid🤛 Loved the Seth cameo😂
I think to determinate the winner, it must be a spar Kevin vs seth
this feels more like something that goes in your CV so you can get a job in a martial arts movie.
I really loved the video you should keep making videos like this one ❤❤
Very entertaining! I think they’re pretty close in effect but personally I think Wing Chun got it.
the stuntman was awesome!
Great idea, guys
Nice Chum Kiu Form Kevin.
Would have been nice to get an explanation as to why they got the point. I think they were both really good but in a real fight I was like that would work and that wouldn’t work but 🤷♀️ lol
I love how sensei Seth just got prideful and had to make his point🤣🤣
I can see that Shotokan Karate is for long range attack especially weaponed opponent, and Wing tsun quan is for short range especially is grabbed by opponent.
that is true. Practicing on my own also Shorin- Ryu (in my case Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate, lineage Nagamine- Shima- Oshiro), I notice during sparring sessions that I am a little bit confused if a "Shotokan guy" starts from the distance..
but here we have Seibukan (Sakunaihayashi)
WCs longest weapons, are the Front Kick, and the Finger Strike techniques. But you have to remember... in order for the Attacker to be able to Strike you... they NEED to get close enough. As such... the moment the attacker steps towards you... is usually when you Counter + Counterstrike.
Also realize, that there is a large difference between Sparring, and actual Barefist combat. In sparring... fighters often hop around just outside of each others Ranges. However, in the bar / nightclub... when some dude gets aggressive... they charge at you like a Bull... with fists flying rapidly and repeatedly. There is no "Dancing" outside of ranges. In fact, many will often assume that they might eat a punch.. in order to deliver their own.
As a student of wing chun for 40+ years, I find the video authentic.
Both Wing Chun and Karate are effective in a "bar brawl" situation, which is represented here.
Karate, when properly executed, would eliminate the opponent before they got close. In a crowded area, like most bars, Wing Chun, being a close combat art, would be more effective.
This isnt shotokon
@@johndough8115absolutely, learning a bit of wingchun close quarter fighting or Muay Thai clinching is an added skill for 2nd layer protection since most attacks are surprising in nature and we may find our safe distance breached in a real fight situation. Close quarter is like ground BJJ skills but for the stand up fight. 🙌
How can the second move go to karate when the opponent is still holding the knife at the back of your neck?
He's holding the knife hand you silly goose.
Disagree. The karate-ka didn't grab his arm, but the arm was placed outside not to let the opponent have a better position of stabbing; however, an opponent with the knife on hand is still dangerous.
First round should have gone to karate the guy was down and he ran away with the wing chun, second round I'd say they were the same, third I think he did hurt himself so karate, I'm glad the mention at 3:55 brought up the flaw in the scoring.
It was funny how their approach to the front tackle was nearly identical.
Just so you know, Wing Chun is about saving time! Energy preservation, and speed. It's actually not a style. It's really just applying higher IQ in hand to hand fighting. I'd also like to say that every Wing Chun is not the same! People have many different expressions of it. Although based on the same fundamentals, it varies per person. Karate, one strike one kill theory differs in mindset. It was a great comparison. Thanks for the video! Lastly, I know to many the short Wing Chun strikes appear powerless, but I can assure you, from a well trained person short range power can feel like getting hit by a mack truck!
LOL!!! The stunt dude is gettin beat! LOL and he's the one doin the scoring?!? LOL Too good Kev!
I have a personal mantra: black dog, yellow dog; if it retrieves pheasants, then it's a good dog.
Great video!
All those punches to the TOP of the head will hurt Kevin’s hands more Than the attacker
He did that because it was padded. In reality the face would have eaten the blows.
The starting wing chun looked like a dance
This was awesome and had my full attention the whole tim! Next, Wing Chun vs Muay Thai or Taekwondo.
Both systems have a lot to offer, but I think that karate's basics are a lot more powerful and easier to perform and therefore
are more likely to allow a new student to successfully defend themselves in a street encounter.
It was a surprise to see Sensei Seth appear in the video. 😎
Both looked very effective in self defence. It’s looking like it’s better to know both styles. 🤔
I think we should add both practicality & simplicity to the judging categories, because that's exactly what you need in a street fight. While a number of these techniques are effective, a few also seem a bit unnecessarily complicated. Focusing on simplicity & practicality, I gotta rate it:
Haymaker: Karate
Knife Stab: Wing Chun
Knife Slash: Karate
Shirt Grab: Wing Chun
Front Tackle: Karate
Headbutt: Karate
Headlock: Wing Chun
Knee To Groin: Wing Chun
Low Kick: Wing Chun
Bearhug: Karate
RESULT: Still Ends in Tie....damn
I am a Wing Chun woman.... LOVED this video Kevin... proves the art is in the practitioner....every move was impressive and practice makes perfect!... loved Zen's moves but yours were just as awesome, just different. React how you feel you can best deal with attack, regardless of what martial art you practice. I do LOVE Wing Chun though👊👊👊
Thank you Kevin for this video! I love the demonstration on two different styles in a street fight. After seeing your video training with sifu Francis I've been a fan. Keep up the great work you are doing! I hope to find a class soon to train!
I appreciate both athletes and their techniques. But man, how do I love the beauty of those Wing Chun moves!
I had a lot of fun watching your movie. Each one is good at his art. And the stunt man did a good job, too adding some theatre to his play.
These were fun. If I'd been scoring it would have been...
1) Haymaker to Wing Chun -- simpler, faster, more direct
2) Knife Stab to Wing Chun -- got to get off the line...both solutions were Hollywood, but just catching it with an x-block is a little too Hollywood
3) Knife Slash to Karate -- its not so much that I didn't like the Wing Chun solution, but I give karate the nod for getting off the line and for the flashiness of sword handing the brain stem
4) Shirt Grab to Wing Chun -- this is Wing Chun's wheelhouse...love the neck control
5) Front Tackle to Wing Chun -- they're very similar, but I go with Wing Chun because of the elbow strike
6) Headbutt to Karate -- I wanted to give this one to Wing Chun because its at trapping range, but I didn't think the choreography came across as well
7) Headlock to Wing Chun -- the Wing Chun sweep was more efficient than the karate double leg
8) Knee to the Groin to Wing Chun -- again, I think karate thinking its going to stuff a full body knee with an x-block is fantasy land and the karate sequence sort of relies on the attacker leaving his knee there to be captured...whereas the Wing Chun sequence moves off the line and just parries the knee
9) Low Kick to Karate -- the knee kick to ridgehand was nice...I think the attacker really has to telegraph for the Wing Chun counter to work
10) Bearhug to Wing Chun -- i like the Wing Chun groin strike more than karate's magic shrug to make space...also, I like the immediate neck control by wing chun more than karate expecting the guy to stand there and eat a sweep
So I would have scored it 7-3 for Wing Chun. I am biased though.
Also, they're demo choreography so its all just in good fun anyway. We knew it was going to end up tied. lol
That was really interesting, but I would have given it to Kevin because I think he did better with the knife attacks. The first one he disarmed the attacker, the second one he was controlling the weapon hand the whole time.
Styles don’t beat styles. It’s always the fighter who wins and their level of refined skill .
Karate, Kung Fu, both works when needed in certain situations and environments. There's no such thing as a "better system or method." It all depends on the practitioner! Based on my own experiences, it's best to know both thoroughly! Respect!
I heard that some people think that Wing Chun is useless, but personally I think that any martial art can be effective, that depends on the person who practices
"karate is the best... arooouuuunnnnd" 😂👍👍👍
stunt man deserves an oscar for acting
i also do Wing Chun kung fu (i started learning it 8 years ago) and i recognise the moves btw i've noticed that karate has simular moves to Wing Chun and Wing Chun is also using techniques from other martial arts :D
@@thomasthebest7700 💯💯💯
It is the skill of the practitioners and the laws of physics that determines the winner in a fight, not the style of martial arts.
I was surprised by how little the karate guy used his legs
If these guys are so good at fighting, I would love to see them in the octagon against a mma fighter.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That means it s not about the style , but about the philosophy of the fighter , every martial arts can be effective but not all of student aren’t effective in a real fight
Thanks for using a stunt man, a dude very used to getting beat up 😂
this content is great but underrated
In the end Wing Chun won, it is better overall it is cooler and better.
I enjoyed that ! I think both styles are really good, feel sorry for their crash test dummy 😗😉(fun to watch, thanks !!
I've practiced both ! Karate is more direct but it's stiffer and slower and cumbersome! Wingchung is faster requires less energy and it flows and circular
If you could properly blend these two, you'd have what for me would feel like the most natural striking art. But both styles demonstrate that there is one core conceit behind both...Hit someone hard enough and fast enough (sometimes repeatedly just for good measure) in just the right spot and they'll go down.
Damn Kevin's chum kil is smooth af
Didn't know that in street fights the attacker hits once and then stands still. :)
when i think of wing chun
i think of 1p man
That would be different in real world situations because knee kicks and head punches come immediately and not with the swing back and then forth.
You do, Kung Fu or you do, dodo was told to me by my teacher lol I think that all forms of Martial arts are useful in different situations. I see a lot of the techniques used in many other forms that can lead right back to wing chun or could easily be adapted to. Great video
The best way to do this is with kumite, there is no more
Seems as if they both knew what attacks were coming at them. Might have been more impartial if they hadn't.
Both Wing Chun and Karate are very effective for self defense but Wing Chun has more power and speed and fast arm movements so I have to say the winner is Wing Chun.
Depends on where the fight is. If it is in a normal condition (e.g. boxing ring), then karate has the advantage. If it happens in places that has any of these:
1. no / very little place to move around (a public toilet or a narrow alley)
2. A lot of obstacles (a forest)
3. Unstable surface (a floating boat)
4. Armed combat,
then Wing Chun has the advantage
Sparring: ❌
Choreography: ✔
Okinawan. Karate
Is crisp and HARD!!!
❤😂❤
When i was a kid i love karate moves. But when i watch the ipman movie...im loving Wing Chun now.
Personally I don't feel one art is "better" than the other, but rather the person themselves. Being Pentjak Silat myself, I just find Karate more visually appealing and aggressive.
this was a hilarious video and Zen’s new name is Zen Bushido. lol
Karate is used for defense and using their move against them (counters).
Wing chun is used to do as much damage as possible in such little time.
Haha 😂
That looked like so much fun!
Hey Kevin, I’d like to be a dummy in some of your videos 🤕
Wing chun for ever
I was thinking of traditional jiu-jitsu after many of those throws...I think traditional jiu-jitsu would keep control of the hand they've captured.
In reality both of these styles are flying out the window 90%, the more similar to brawling your style is the more efficient it is for real life fights, boxing, muay thai, kick boxing, mma, wrestling are way more effective for street fighting because they are blood sport styles that teach you the aggression, power, and survivability needed to win fights.
😂 your Wing Chun is funny!! When we fight we fight dirty! Your fight style way to clean and appropriate 🤣…My Sifu would shred his opponent in just a few seconds with every move! RIP Sifu Lacey, both twins.
I'm developing my own family system and in it I blend techniques and concepts from both systems as well as from Kali and Pankration!
I love how out of nowhere Seth appears 😂
I aggree with him though on the fact that the judging might have been very subjective... There were a couple of defenses I would have given to the other side, but hey that's life I guess!
Wing chun was better with weapons and counters but Karate was better with takedowns and leverage..both good in their own way.
