- Range Day! Training in firearms proficiency is key. It is in fact, a diminishing skill, as proven in the video. Running my SHTF/night vision pistol, the mk18, and a gen 3 Glock 19. Overview of my full kit as well (Plate carrier, battle belt, night vision & helmet setup)

You should do a video on the Designateir-v. Not many videos on that product and I need sum affirmation I didnt buy a crap product 😂.

Long story short, my vis and IR laser were not co aligned.
Called 3eir and they took care of it no questions asked. Got it back within a week.
Another 800 rounds since then, and it’s been solid.
Btw the sun can still damage your nods through a pinhole cover/iris, be careful where you point it whilst stowed
Learned that the hard way! But got lucky and black boxed it and it went away 🤙🏼.

Mk18 a5 h1 still
Yup, runs great. Ejects 4 o’clock with 223 and 3:30 with 556.
Doesn’t lock open w/ steel case though.

Is yours a 2016 or newer mk18?
The older ones have a larger gas port.
And short guns are just kind of snappy.
I actually found putting in a heavier buffer made the recoil feel more punchy. The heavier buffer bouncing back and forth maybe.
Try the h1. I’ve found it to be perfect
