when SHTF legally owned anything wont matter, what ever land and objects you can get to and protect will be yours. Spend the money on training, knowledge making friends and any of the stuff needed for survival, ammunition guns water filtration, ways to keep food edible. mostly knowledge of where and when to go and how to go. I know where my first place is going to be, it has spring water drinkable from the source and fish deer lots of animals of all kinds. and good people in the area so wont need to fight it out with neighbors.
@@Impossibly-Possible and when shtf never happens,, all of that legally owned property is going to be really useful But you never know shtf could be about 2 weeks away
IDK man... as someone with tens of thousands of hours of DayZ under their belt, in a real SHTF situation I'd be very tempted to take my suppressed Ruger Mark IV, and fill my pockets with several hundred rounds...lol Silence and stealth is far more important than stopping power unless you are actively looking for a gunfight at every turn.
Dude, remember DayZ in 2013? Spawning on with a Makorov and red flares at night with the tense music. Ahhh the good ol days. I would take suppressed anything at this point. My deprived of freedom ass would take it over everything 😂 Thanks for watching dude!
A man of culture I see… Nothing wrong with either of those! Whatever you shoot best! But if you haven’t shot a 2011 yet, you really need to! Their amazing. Thanks for watching!
Sig 226 Elite for me, same reason! I actually sold a Prodigy and bought the Elite with it. The Prodigy was a bitch to clean and it was heavy as hell for an all day carry gun.
I don't think any pistol is worth 3500 dollars, nothing in the making of it costs anywhere near that unless its made of precious metals. I cant see spending more than 1500 dollars for a duty pistol, unless its a investment that will go up in value I don't think a pistol is worth 3500 dollars, it would have to come with a sight suppressor and custom top notch everything else.
Have you got to handle a $2,000+ 2011? You for sure can feel the difference in quality, fit/finish, and materials . However, 3500 for one gun is ridiculous when you think about how much other quality gear that could buy you. Thanks for watching!
Another epic intro, lol just a little tab of advice not that my channel is as epic yet but if you take like every 5-10 videos and combine all the intros into just one video and drop I think that would be great ! Getting a Glock with an optic, light, holster, belt, pouches, magazines, ammo, spare parts, and maybe an aftermarket trigger for less than the cost of just a 2011 that comes with a few mags is going to the better option for most people
While I agree for the most part, you can get a functional 2011 for $1500, add an optic. Your into It 2 grand maybe? And you get get used Springfield prodigy’s for 1200, a used Acro, and be out the door for 1550. Not much more than your typical “Gucci Glock”
100% agree. Just like a said in the video. Regular maintenance and parts inspection is a must. They for sure help enhance your capability, but at the potential cost of reliability. Glocks you can use as a fuckin shovel and shove it back in your holster and your good. Thanks for watching
They've done studies you know. 60% of the time, it works every time! Back in the days I carried a Beretta 92fs with the Police Dept, 92f with the Army, Sig P226 and Glock 17 with the Sheriffs Office and a Glock 26 as a back up. My everyday carry now is the Glock 19x. I stick with what I've trained and comfortable with along with the dependability and reliability of the Glock. But, I will not hesitate to add another toy to my collection. Great video! Keep it going.
That’s the one thing about 2011s, they need a more routine cleaning scheduled and like to be lubed. Glocks give zero fucks and keep chugging! But 2011s give you the edge in capability. Thanks for watching dude!
I have put one mag through one, which needs to change. They just “approved” them for the California handgun roster. Might pick one up soon for review. Thanks for watching dude!
@@LARPeratorsAnonymous Np. . i have two sheild plus performance centers both 4 inch barrel and two 2.0s. one compact 4 inch barrel one fullsize 4.25... The fullsize is the only one that has not had one single issue. Granted the others were likely caused by tight springs in the S&W mags which seems to be more of an issue with the smaller frames. But the full size is perfect. I even shot old corroded ammo I was trying to hurry up and dump and probably 2k rounds rn and it's flawless
Here is the truth. 1. Do not carry an expensive pistol. Ever. If you have to pull and fire you will lose your gun for at least a year. If you are found in non-compliance or guilty of any criminal charge, including jaywalking during the encounter you lose your weapon forever. Even if cleared, you must file paperwork with the DA and the court to return the property. No guarantee you'll get it. 2. Carry the pistol you train with and know intimately. I carry an S&W M&P 2.0 10mm. I use either Hallowpoint or RIP ammo. In general. a 10 mm will put the threat down even on an off-center hit. The RIP will shred the body and stop within that body. Know your target path. 3. Can you kill a human? Can you control yourself when you are facing someone who is shooting at you or coming at you with a bat? They talk guns and play Rambo for entertainment, but no one trains you on how to face the sudden and overwhelming adrenaline rush you will feel when tSHtF. Could you think? Could you REACT? Could you recognize what is happening and take immediate action? 4. KISS. Keep it Simple Stupid. I don't carry a dot, I don't use a light. I train to fight. not flight. KISS. 5. Who am I? I am a nobody. I don't exist. I have been shooting for 50 years. I carry 3 Master's degrees and a PhD. I teach and train individuals who do not exist in mental and emotional control of their body-mind in high-stress environments. You put 2 and 2 together. I am nobody.
If you train the safety really well, yes. Better trigger, angle, and lack of recoil will make you more accurate and less likely to inflict shooter error. The saying, "that a really nice gun can't make you a better shooter" is BS. I've had new people try g19 gen 5 vs BUL SAS II Viper. Night and day difference. Both with red dot. 509t on g19 and RMSC with BUL.
Dope video! I would take a 2011 into a SHFT situation especially if the 2011 is tuned. I’m personally more accurate and faster on that platform. Make more content!!!
Are you sure about those rounds per year numbers? I only shoot one day every two weeks and with an average of 200 per trip that's 4800 rounds by itself.
Nice dude! You get more range time in than most dudes. My range days are typically 6-8 hours, and shoot at least 350 per caliber. Typically shoot every 3 weeks. Taking at least 3 training classes a year that I shoot 500-1000 in each. Thanks for watching!
Bought a glock because everyone always said "get a glock" for my first gun. Bought a 19x and liked it but didn't love it. Then I tried a canik and loved the trigger. Then people would tell me, "you need to try a 1911 for the best trigger". Afew weeks later I tried the 1911/2011 platform for the first time... I NEVER went back to glock lmao by God, I will die with a 1911 in my hand
I sold my Glock after shooting my first 1911 and have been stuck on hammer fired guns since. I still have 2 striker fired guns, but they’re not stock. Having said that, I’m still faster and more consistent with my 2011/DS1911’s
@BigChiefWiggles lmao it's never jammed or failed. I keep it well taken care of. Glocks however, I've seen jam and fail several times. They're not as indestructible as people make them out to be man. They're the "iPhone" of guns. Literally the same thing over and over again with minor changes because of the reputation they have along with loyal buyers that don't try other things. Trust me, try a 1911/2011 in 9mm. You'll see what I mean.
@@unknown360123 You are funny. Hey, dont let me stop you from running a pistol designed around the same time as a Ford Model T. Im sure its reliable. Lol.
I know the next comment might not be liked, but here is goes. A dig p320 slightly customized with a 4.7 inch barrel. Three classes where it was run hard and not one problem. Well over 3000 rounds. It is my nightstand gun. Yes, I have a light mounted on it.
No flame, just don’t AD the gun into your nutsack 😂 Kidding. The 320 is a great gun. I’ve run an m18 quit a bit and it’s run flawless. Thanks for watching!
I just came from 320’s to Stsccato’s. I have 2 320’s that have both exceeded 15k rds. Both ran through almost 2yrs of training and USPSA. Both are now comp’d.. beat hard and never had an issue.
P320 fanboy here or, as we say in northern eyetalian, il P320 e la bomba beatches! I've got a safe full of'em, two built from scratch with nothing but CEKs and the others all stock off the shelf and .... I love'em almost as much as I love my dags. God Bless SIG. Listen, 21 rounders are butter in a P320 full size anything and you just can't do that in a 2011. But I do love a good 2011 .... but the weight, yo dude, pulls my pants down when I'm trying to run the stage in front of the fine women folk. I ain't wearin' these stretchy britches for nuthin' bruh.
@@GalloPazzescowas that supposed to be English? 😂 My p320 spectre comp with a x300 and 507 comp isn’t much lighter than my staccato heritage P limited edition. You should be wearing a belt 😂
lol stop it. Fully support PSA and their mission to arm as many people possible. Their guns works to an extent. And the QC just isn’t there. If you’re shooting 500 rounds a year, slow rates of fire, from a bench they’re fine. You can get a used prodigy and make it decent for $1500. The new Tisas DS 9 or the MAC 9 are $750 - $1000 for a decent 2011. Don’t need 4k to get into the game. Thanks for watching!
The Stealth Arms Platypus is a 2011 style that take Glock mags. Runs about the same price at the Prodigy. $1600 isn’t a Staccato, but they tend to still be very good.
I’ve heard a ton of good things about the platypus and would love to get my hands on one! Just stupid CA guns laws make it difficult to come by. I saw admin results video a while back and wanted one immediately 😂 Thanks for watching!
A 1911/2011 trigger makes everyone a better shooter. Many many many years ago, at range shooting an M9 with a senior squid officer that wears a green onesie. His group was easily 20 plus inches…after a few mags… I handed him a Colt 1911 and his group magically became 2 to 3 inches with the first 8 round mag! 🤔
lol thanks man! dirty-kid.com/collections/all?page=2 Currently it’s not in stock. Follow them on IG to know when they do their next drop! Thanks for watching!
I grew up on 1911s and Glocks. I have shot both in pistol classes and USPSA (I am currently an A class shooter). I know the Glock VS 1911 debate can cause a stir but sometimes you are at work on the can and don't want to get back to the computer right away so here I am. I shoot about 15k+ a year of 9mm. That being said I will say this 2011s have very nice trigger and the price points are coming down which is good for everyone. The triggers in a 2011 will always be better than a Glock which is a huge advatage over the Glock. If you maintain a 2011 and are willing to stick to the mantinence program it works well. The glock you can abuse and use mostly and has so many upgrades. So at the end of it I still think it is users choice and how much you train and shoot. I wouldn't feel mad with either if in a SHTF. I love the vids and hope the best for you and everyone here
Agreed. But a trained shoot with an excellent gun takes you to the next level. Not saying you can buy skill, but every shooter I’ve handed a 2011 to has shot better. Thanks for watching!
Your videos keep getting better and better, love the DGAF attitude with comedic spin. I’m telling you this channel has potential to be huge. Come up with some catchy cool hoodies and shirts/ merch I’d totally rock a larperators anonymous hoodie but you have to have 3 and 4 xl for us red meat eaters. Anyway, stick with it. Best of luck
I still keep my sig m18 as my primary. As for 2011 I am looking at the Kimber KDS9C I have seen nothing but great results and reviews with this gun and they have a rebate going on as well.
The m18 is a great gun. I’ve had a decent amount of trigger time on a friend of mines (maybe 500-600 rounds) and it’s been dope. I haven’t heard much about the KDS9C. But I Know the community kind of shits on Kimbers reliability. Sounds like you’ve done your research though 🤙🏼 Thanks for watching!
@@LARPeratorsAnonymous yes I do a lot of research on a gun before I buy it. The kimber is awesome but I am also looking at the Springfield prodigy since it’s about on par with the staccato.
The one I had for the video did have an additional $500 worth of upgrades including a trigger. It was excellent. For the price, I think it’s a solid choice. Look into the MAC 9DS and the new Tisas. For the money, they look super solid.
@@LARPeratorsAnonymous I will look into that one for sure I seen a few videos around on that gun and it looks promising. But I really wanna invest in a .300 blackout and a 12gage
If you already have a pistol for concealed carry, I’d get an AR next. Preferably .556/223 but 300 black works if you have the budget to Stack ammo deep. Shotgun would be my last firearm. They are useful, but a center fire rifle with higher capacity shits on them IMO.
SHTF Combat pistols? That's easy. HK USP full size regardless of caliber, SIG P226 9MM, Berreta M9. Although I've never handled/fired it I probably would also pick an FN FNX-45 Tac. Don't @ me about price/availability. If you're prepping for SHTF then that isn't an issue.
I just picked up a Prodigy 4.25 at the gun show last weekend. Not sure about the HEX optic it came with as I don't know much about them. It seems ok but may swap it out later. Just ran across you channel and love the video. Subscribed!

The maintenance level for a 2011 is kind of a pain. For me to confidently carry it, Id have to clean it every time after I shot it, and clean it every 30 days from lent, sweat, dust, etc. My Glock I use as a fuckin shovel, after shooting a 1000 rounds and throw it back into my AIWB holster and not worry. But damn do I love the accuracy and quick follow up shots its provides me. Thanks for watching man!
Just curious if you’ve shot a 2011…. They are reliable if you maintain them. You 100% without a doubt will shoot any 2011 better than a Hellcat. Not saying the Hellcat is a bad gun, it’s great. But a 2011 for sure increases your capability. Thanks for watching!
Bro I can’t afford it 😂. Just kidding, I’ve been very fortunate with my financial situation to some extent. The Tisas 2011 is $750. Heard great things about it for the price!
You're overrated! JK. But honestly, I dk how anyone can say they are overrated once you put them against any striker fired gun a shootability sense. Overpriced? Maybe. That is in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for watching!
Recently switched from custom 320’s and 365’s to Stsccato. XL for USPSA limited optics, CS for EDC, Limited Edition Heritage P19 for duty.. some others.. don’t want to shoot anything else now 😂

I use to go to the range once or twice a month just because I owe and carry lots of glocks and s&w’s so going to the range to practice was a chore but now after getting my staccato p I go to the range every weekend, sometimes Saturdays and Sundays! I got the staccato p 3 weeks ago and I’ve put 1500 rounds of 9mm down range lol I can’t stop and my 9mm reserve keeps dwindling lol but anyways I never saw a malfunction and I haven’t cleaned it yet… soo very reliable.

when SHTF legally owned anything wont matter, what ever land and objects you can get to and protect will be yours.
@@Impossibly-Possible and when shtf never happens,, all of that legally owned property is going to be really useful
But you never know shtf could be about 2 weeks away
Owning property matters for SHTF?
omg that fkn intro had me in tears lmao when the music dropped !!!!
Thanks my dude!!
Lmao, as a black man, I concur with the intro
IDK man... as someone with tens of thousands of hours of DayZ under their belt, in a real SHTF situation I'd be very tempted to take my suppressed Ruger Mark IV, and fill my pockets with several hundred rounds...lol
Silence and stealth is far more important than stopping power unless you are actively looking for a gunfight at every turn.
Dude, remember DayZ in 2013? Spawning on with a Makorov and red flares at night with the tense music. Ahhh the good ol days.
I would take suppressed anything at this point. My deprived of freedom ass would take it over everything 😂
Thanks for watching dude!
I love the mk 4 in there. What I have learned from Dayz is, become a cannibal.
It's a nice looking pistol...but for SHTF?.....I'm taking a P226 Mk25 or a USP Tactical in 9mm.
A man of culture I see…
Nothing wrong with either of those! Whatever you shoot best!
But if you haven’t shot a 2011 yet, you really need to! Their amazing.
Thanks for watching!
Sig 226 for me. Proven way proven

Love me some double/single action.
Thanks for watching dude!
226 Legion RXP for me
😍🥵 NICE!
Sig 226 Elite for me, same reason! I actually sold a Prodigy and bought the Elite with it. The Prodigy was a bitch to clean and it was heavy as hell for an all day carry gun.
Sig Sauer P226 Legion: Romeo X Pro/Streamlight TLR1-HL.
That’s a completely fair assessment, but have purchased 3500 2011, and I wouldn’t trade it for a Glock - Any Day of the week.
Straight out of Compton intro got you a sub!

Another epic intro, lol just a little tab of advice not that my channel is as epic yet but if you take like every 5-10 videos and combine all the intros into just one video and drop I think that would be great ! Seems like something that would get shared out a lot! More great work!
Your into
It 2 grand maybe?
And you get get used Springfield prodigy’s for 1200, a used Acro, and be out the door for 1550.
Not much more than your typical “Gucci Glock”
I absolutely love 2011s. But they have to be well maintained to remain reliable. Glocks don’t give a shit.
The only shtf pistol for me is the M&P 2.0 full size #pewpew

They just “approved” them for the California handgun roster. Might pick one up soon for review.

Just found your channel and I fucking love it dude!

Train, train, train!
Thanks for watching!
Oh yeah. 2011s are hard to beat. It makes experiences and inexperience shooters, shoot better.
Thanks for watching!
Dope video! I would take a 2011 into a SHFT situation especially if the 2011 is tuned. I’m personally more accurate and faster on that platform. Make more content!!!

Thanks for watching dude
Are you sure about those rounds per year numbers? I only shoot one day every two weeks and with an average of 200 per trip that's 4800 rounds by itself.
Nice dude! You get more range time in than most dudes.
My range days are typically 6-8 hours, and shoot at least 350 per caliber.
Typically shoot every 3 weeks.
Taking at least 3 training classes a year that I shoot 500-1000 in each.

Kidding…I carry a 365x macro w/ spectre comp. Switched from my g19 to it for a reason 🤙🏼
Hahaha I see you are a man of culture, welcome!
Geartardation is fun, but keeps you poor 😂.
Thanks for watching!
I sold my Glock after shooting my first 1911 and have been stuck on hammer fired guns since. I still have 2 striker fired guns, but they’re not stock. Having said that, I’m still faster and more consistent with my 2011/DS1911’s
You will, because that thing WILL jam or fail on you.
Lol.

4k for a pistol is ridiculous .. psa for the win
lol stop it.

The Stealth Arms Platypus is a 2011 style that take Glock mags. Runs about the same price at the Prodigy. $1600 isn’t a Staccato, but they tend to still be very good.

A 1911/2011 trigger makes everyone a better shooter. Many many many years ago, at range shooting an M9 with a senior squid officer that wears a green onesie. I love the vids and hope the best for you and everyone here
Thanks for the solid info and kind words dude!

The m18 is a great gun. I’ve had a decent amount of trigger time on a friend of mines (maybe 500-600 rounds) and it’s been dope.
I haven’t heard much about the KDS9C. But I

@@LARPeratorsAnonymous yes I do a lot of research on a gun before I buy it. The kimber is awesome but I am also looking at the Springfield prodigy since it’s about on par with the staccato.

$500 worth of upgrades including a trigger.
Preferably .556/223 but
300 black works if you have the budget to
Stack ammo deep.

So, I have a Prodigy with the internals done by a local gunsmith that is known for working on these guns...I would say that the 2011 is definitely a wicked platform. I still like Glock, Sig, Walther, CZ, etc.
Love the 2011 platform, clearly 😂
Same, Glocks, sigs, etc have their place and I will continue to buy and carry them.
Your prodigy has been solid as well then?
