Mini 14, makes me want to smoke a cigar ride in a big black van and love it when a plan comes together.

In restrictive countries, it is very sad that the list of options for even those who hold licenses or required documents to get firearms, That many available aren't even semi Automatic. If you are restricted to manual action firearms, Some sort of pump action, box Magazine fed rifle Would be superior to a bolt action if you wish to use it as a defensive weapon. Although even in some places like Russia Rifled weapons are also placed in restrictive categories. Shotguns usually Have less restriction, and with slug ammunition, it can substitute a rifle if needed. It all depends on what is available and what is needed.

@actionarmoury We can all agree that warfare and violence is the natural state of humanity. We live in very comfortable times at least in first world nations. Conflict, though even in times like this are inevitable. For whatever reason or even non reason is wanted. Man will rise against his brother and his brother against him etc. Modern states with modern technology can do a very decent job of repelling these unsavory things if they want to compared to their ancient Grandfather's. Still
Its main interest is not in the preservation of even its people, but of itself even if it has no people to rule over. all its major resources will be used to defend itself rather than you, the people. as much as things have changed with our new modern powerful states and governments. Ultimately, the individual must still look out for himself and whatever people he cares for.

No. Because everyone is carrying real ak's that have been through 40 or 50 years of war. Run FA Because its an ak and thats what they do everywhere else that has them.
As for the places without any firearms in the public. That is the consequence of humans having no idea what rights are. Which is what is happening here due to the 99.5% that have no clue. Probably including you.

@@kiwiincool609You should study those countries. They all have one common theme. The majority of the people there first have no idea what rights are. Second put breathing above living. Third fear their governments

My list if only three.... that's tough. But would probably go with a service size 9mm pistol, a 12 gauge security model and an AR-15 16" carbine. Like Glock 17, Mossberg 590 Security model and PSA AR-15 in 5.56. I would have a CMMG .22LR conversion kit for the AR to allow it to double as a small game getter or other .22LR use. If you're in a commie state, then substitute an SKS for the AR or maybe a good Lever Action 30-30 Win.

Great video!! In reality it's the guns you have ammo for and train with. Lots of people, at least online, seemingly forget about the training part (I am aware of it, but I keep making excuses). Something that I like to suggest to people is what I call the tri-fecta or tri-force. Side-arm, medium range rifle, shotgun (with 00 or rifled slugs/rifled barrel for slugs). Once you have those, get whatever else you want. Those are my suggested minimums.

That Ruger mini-14 is a great rifle to have I need to buy one. An AR-15 either a Glock or a SIG 9mm handgun. That's all you really need and a bunch of ammo. Cool video

My three at the moment are:
    1. Battle Rifle: M1 Grand or Vz52 rechambered in 7.62/39
    2. Side Arm: vz61
    3. Shotgun: Black Ace 12 gauge bullpup

I'd say my 4 options would be an intermediate to full power battle rifle along with a sidearm. The third option would be a .22lr rifle and I'd also include a bladed weapon, such as a beyonet or battle knife.

There are a lot of components that go into SHTF and everyone has their opinion . Based mostly in what part of the country they live in , and possibly state restrictions , are you urban or rural , plus their idea of what a SHTF is , which I think a lot of people can talk about it , but can they realistically do it & survive . You make your choices and hope you did due diligence

    1. Rifle: Primary Weapons Systems UXR
    2. A 9mm pistol I can carry IWB and still shoot comfortably with.
    3. A 12 gauge shotgun or Springfield XD45 in a chassis system such as in a CAA MCK.

To be honest if I'm in a SHTF doomsday world scenario a crossbow or 10 pump daisy 880 pellet gun wouldn't be a bad idea. I've hunted small game with both and they're both silent alternatives to firearms that are loud and use ammunition that could be limited in availability. I can always reuse my bolts on my crossbow and 177 bbs or pellets are easy to find and you can carry alot of them.

I'd have to go with 4 SHTF firearms.
    1) battle rifle
    2) fighting handgun
    3) shotgun
    4) rimfire rifle

    Top three ?
    1.AK
    2.AK
    3.AK
Here's a theoretical fourth.. an AK that has a dual barrel that is single shot chambered in 12 gauge or 22LR... 😎
