I really like it, but I'm disappointed even the linear one is too loud, since I needed it for work. Edit: Just got to the part you mentioned being able to buy silent switches. Might not have to return it.
The problem with this keyboard is the pricing (at least in Australia) where the K95 Platinum XT is only 9 AUD more (~5 USD). The K95 had better/plushier wrist rest, USB pass-through, extra programable keys on the left and extra RGB strip on top. The only pros for this are more switches, 8kHz polling, and the gimmicky Tournament mode.
Compared to K70 mk2, the difference is in pbt keycaps and 8000hz technology but not too different 1000hz, the rest is the same. I think we should buy the K70 mk2 because it's cheap, with the price range of the K70 pro, we should buy the K95
it subjective so expecting an answer from a stranger is kinda nonsense. write down points and make a list. what you like about it and what you dont. also take into account your financial situation. its not even about can i afford it as much as does it go in line with the purchases i can allow myself to do on a regular? if not is the keyboard something thats important enough for me to spend more than i usually do?
@@dumbass7055 Do you find yourself accidentally actuating keys while gaming? I've heard several testimonials about that. "I keep jumping/sprinting just because my hand is resting on the WASD keys" or whatever. Hesitant to try OPX after reading these things. lol
Finally a decent key board worth buying thank you for your review! Keep up the good work !
Routing the mouse cable
The X route is for your headphone cable to keep it out of the way of your mouse.
I saw another comment about it on another video but the cable routing someone said could be for headphones/usb hubs/mouse
Is it worth it in 2024 ??
