How about you jump into excitement seeing new K70 RAPIDFIRE RGB.. then by for some reason, your old K70 is on the ground and you stepped on it for maybe 10 times without noticing it.

Also, lesson learned.. get the best Keyboard when it has Cherry Switches.
yeah, if I ever would buy a mech keyboard, I will not get anything else than MX brown switches. Reds are too light to press, and blues are freaking loud!
Crumbusto oh yeah my bad. it does only come with reds.(im getting k70) I dont see why anyone would go for the k65 since its the same as k70.. aside from lack of numpad. is there any other difference?

Can you comment on the many problems that Corsair keyboards always have, I have multiple friends who have had loads of LEDs die (possibly fixed in this model) and the key sticking issue that all Corsair keyboards have, maybe have someone at Lunis Media Group game on it for a month or so and see how it goes
I'll be using the k70 RGB as my daily driver going forward so I'll let you know. So far I can say it's more stable on USB2 but I assumed that from the outset... Almost everything is... No other real long term comments so far.

+H.W.Y.M I bought my Strafe RGB for that same reason. I had a K95 RGB (MX brown), but I spilled liquid on it, and it broke. I replaced it with a Strafe RGB with blues, because they discontinued the blues on the K70 RGB for some reason. I also love the white back plate.
Any long term reviews of the K70 RGB? All great first impressions but no one has a follow up review. Still working any changes? Burnt out LED's ect?? Anyone??
Corsair has fixed almost a of the issues with the software, including slow boot times and I think led freezing, do your good to go if you want to buy one!
+SeaRanger311 I've had my k70 RGB with brown switches for months now. At first it used to 'crash' and the LEDS just froze but the keys still registered. I had the 'special edition' I believe off scan which has the sails logo instead of the yucky one. Its a beautiful keyboard and am 100.1% happy with the purchase. So for the last couple of weeks i'm planning to build a game pc and literally everthing i didn't known i searched on the internet and you would explain it to me. Thanks for that, keep it going.
I have a Corsair K70 and I absolutely love it. Great for gaming, keys are extremely sensitive and responsive, while providing crisp and reliable feedback on each press. The software provided has gotten better, but still is cumbersome at times. I definitely recommend this keyboard for gamers and computer enthusiasts alike. I have not had any problems with LED's dying or with keys losing their responsiveness. Biggest Pro: Responsiveness Biggest Con: Cumbersome and complicated software interface
the lighting is awesome - it'll be a year before other keyboard companies can use Cherry MX switches with this RGB lighting, in my opinion it's probably worth waiting until companies that produce 'better' keyboards get hold of this. you could put some Vortex PBT backlighting-compatible keycaps on this but it'd still have the lame logo, annoying buttons at the top right of the case, and a non-detachable wrist-rest
I am DEFINATELY 100% with you Linus when you got that OMG expression on your face about the size of that manual. You defined a speachless version of the OMG thing, congrats!
Zadius895 so they should go back to old logo if they want some extra money isn't?. But for players who want to saving some money they may get this or go to other products LOL
No...it's supply and demand. If they only made the RGB keyboards with the classic keyboard then they would all have to be sold at regular price. Since the "old logo" is more rare now, it can be sold for more money.
Aesthetically this keybo looks great. But why the ugly batch? Look at how CM Storm does it; a simple gray logo that doesn't staand out. Looks way more elegant. Btw, not sure about the US, but Antec never had a dominating position in the power supply market here in Europe.
LinusTechTips Cases, certainly. And maybe in combination with their cases, that Antec was putting out so many PSU's? I remember that with the popular Sonata-series you got a pretty decent power supply that could run a high end gaming system. But for loose PSU, it were the likes of CoolerMaster, be Quiet and Zalman. But again, maybe it was different in northern America which is a huge market and has an effect on worldwide sales. By the way, did Antec design the PSU's themselves? I know Seasonic made/makes them?
my first mechanical keyboard. bought it preloved a few days ago but still under warranty. mine has a red switch and boy i am in love with this keyboard. got the corsair gaming logo though but i don't give a crap. still loving it!
I've had the K70 for a few years and it's awesome - best keyboard I have ever used. Just bought the M65 Pro RGB mouse to go with it - they are a good combo!
BoggWeasel why be such a bitch about it? you know what makes the word so offensive in the first place? people not using it, because that empowers the word. gives it that ¨horrible meaning¨ so why not just say whatever the fuck without giving a fuck
Just bought mine. I actually spent an hour toying with the software and would safely say I have gotten the generic hang of it. I love this keyboard to death and so far have zero regret. 10/10 would buy again
picked up a razer blackwidow chroma recently only for it straight out the box to have broken switches. gonna go get a k70 and refund this piece of shit. fuck razer!
HeroicVisions the lighting system is amazing and the keys themselves are pretty good its the lack of consistency on the quality of their products that will probably mean I won't buy from their online store again
HeroicVisions Hope yours hold up which i'm sure they will. Just hope you never have to use their support cause having been using it over the last 2 weeks it is AWFUL.
Laurence Pimentel Damn, I heard from a different source that the Corsair Gaming K70 RGB would be available in Cherry MX Blue Switches in February, but if an actual Corsair Member of Staff has announced the discontinuity of this product then it must be legit. Which is really sad because I was really looking forward to purchasing it myself. The other switches don't really appeal to me, so I'll probably just go with the other K70 keyboard without RGB lights in Cherry MX Blue Switches... Thanks for the information Laurence. Much appreciated, as I was confused as to why I couldn't find the K70 RGB Cherry MX Blues anywhere.
Yeah no problem. I did a lot of research looking for the K70 RGB with the blues and even contacted Corsair. I'm disappointed because they have no future plans at this point in time with releasing it with the mx blues.
Laurence Pimentel Yeah, from what I read on that forum thread it looks like it's a grim future for the K70 RGB in Cherry MX Blues which is really disappointing. I just hope that when I buy another keyboard Corsair don't decide to resume production of the K70 RGB with Cherry MX Blues because then I'll feel really frustrated that I didn't wait longer to buy it.
I just bought the regular k70 cherry mx red with red led lighting. It's pretty good. I wanted the RGB to match my dark core rgb but its whatever the RGB was like 40 more bucks.
I guess I'm one of the lucky few that has a basic corsair logo on this keyboard. It really isn't any different logo doesn't mean much to me. but now I'm stuck with the K70 :P
got this keyboard thinking it was gonna be trash since it retailed for only 100$ and guess what? my razer black widow was soon ditched for this outstanding keyboard
Got mine in the mail today and I LOVE this thing. It's also my first ever mechanical keyboard, and typing on this thing is so satisfying, it's really the only reason I'm writing this comment, haha. I got the MX Brown switches and they're fantastic!
Thank you for putting supreme commander in here. I've been using my k70 since before i even knew about your channel and I have to say I did not realize the extra usb plug was only for usb 2.0. Still shoveling out useful info 7 years later linus, thank you and keep playing supreme commander (UEF best faction change my mind).
I bought the K95 RGB instead because I wanted the macros too, and so far it has been the right choice! Within the software, there is a menu for your macros and i loOve the shortcut option. I can now open my WoT, LoL, Minecraft etc. by just pressing a single button, not even having to touch the mouse:D
who gives a fuck about the logo for one and its $170 for a reason, they must have spent a while to set up the software for that keyboard. Also the cost to manufacture and the research and science behind designing it.
TheDigitalRealm more than you will ever know, its not as simple as taking the k70 PCB and sticking RGB LEDs on it, there was a lot of RnD but you can chose to be ignorant to it because you are just a consumer
Yeh, I bought mine a week ago, and gotta say: IT'S AMAZING, the software is not bad, although a bit confusing at first. But as it's my first keyboard, and I'm not a pc gamer (yet), so I use it mor for typing. but intend to buy a gaming pc soon.
@@gustavovrbarros Where did you get it from? I've been looking for the K70 RGB, but it seems impossible to find these days. Might be just because I'm in Canada.
I really couldn't care. The scimitars actually look kinda cool to me, but I really don't care. My K95 has the ship, but my M65 has the "Tramp Stamp" (It's not even tribal). I really couldn't give a toss what the logo was, I'd still buy it if the logo sucked. It's a damn good mouse, so I'm not gonna let the logo get in the way of that. Anyone who says "I'm not buying it because of the logo" is a whiney, self entitled bitch.
just because you can't get the hang of the software doesn't mean it's bad. the software is sophisticated. It's like learning a new programming language. It's easy to download an app from the internet use it, but understanding a language makes you capable of making any app you want.
I literally found this exact model in the trash. Backspace wasn’t working. All it took was a short burst of electronic contact cleaner to get it working.
I still have my K70 since it came out and the thing still works as if it's brand new. Never had an issue with this keyboard and I'm so glad they made a Mk. 2 with shittier font lol
There's nothing particularly "gaming" about a Filco... Unless you just mean the colour scheme... Many other mechanical keyboards with similar build quality and more gaming optimized feature sets from the likes of Gamdias, Tesoro, Corsair, Logitech and Razer to name a few.
LinusTechTips Hijacking this comment chain for visibility. The problems with that keyboard in particular are the 1x keys on the bottom row, the absence of macro keys (how is that gamer then ? the colours aren't made for gamers, they're made for people that like flashy hardware, which isn't bad, it's just not gamer specific), the new Corsair logo, and the very fact it's a backlit keyboard reduces it's lifespan. It isn't the ultimate backlit keyboard Corsair could have made, they fucked up details and it's too bad.
What the fuck? What's with that *awful* rebranding? The original Corsair logo is so much more appealing. I can't believe they'd make such a stupid move on a major product like this. I really hope they don't slap this shit on their future cases.
hell yea im buying one. i eat while gaming and some of my food get under the keys and i cant get it out but now i can with the corsair k70 rgb. thank you corsair!!!!
Fish Stickington they're only exclusive to corsair at first. I dont know what the time frame is, but I'd guess a year at most.. Corsair must have paid big bucks for that.
I've had this keyboard for a couple months now. I was considering the Razer Chroma and G910 as well, but after watching Linus's review on the G910 and other reviews for the Razer Chroma, I went with the K70. Yes, the new logo sucks, but the software works perfectly for me. The backlight is awesome (not as good as the Razer Chroma in my opinon) but the switches and build quality make up for it. The wrist stand is nice, and the keyboard top is made of aluminium. Very nice touch. The media keys are nice, and the Cherry MX Red switches I use are just incredibly nice to type and game with. Can't live without this keyboard now. The only downside now is that it sucks typing with other keyboards or on laptops.
***** I have only used the brown and red myself. If you need quick response time and lots of frequent button pressing (mostly for fast paced games or FPS) then you'd most likely want the cherry red switches. Most people distinguish the three popular switches (blue, brown and red) in this way. Red: Very light switch, best for people who mostly game. The switch is very linear, so every part a stroke is pretty much identical. There is no particular click you hear when slowly pressing down on the switch. Perhaps 70% gaming, 30% typing, or if gaming performance is most important to you. Blue: Much heavier switches, with a tactile click to it. There is a clear indicator of when you press the switch down and up. Best for typing, so 70% typing, 30% gaming. Brown: A sort of hybrid of the two. Still has a bit of the tactile click, so you know when you press down the switch, but is much less than the blues. 50% typing 50% gaming.
I was very close to choosing this keyboard for my next build... until I thought about the software. I'm a big Logitech fan, have been for a while, no other product line has impressed me as much as theirs. When I found the G810, an RGB keyboard with similar specs, price, was minimalist but full 104, and worked with Logitech Gaming Software, I was sold on that idea.
I think my unemployment money may be able to get my rent by, but after that I think I can pawn a few things for you. I'll let you know. ~Sent from my 2k dollar computer~
Jessica Because is that a smart idea? I mean you don't even know this person, for all you know they could have the money and just say they don't. Although if they don't it's still very nice of you to do something like this
+Mike litoris well i heard that in the past razer sucked Bad but they have gotten better overtime according to many people, in fact a friend of mine has a blackwidow chroma and says that it's a really good keyboard
Linus, not only is your channel literally the only place I check for new hardware, but you always crack me up. Thanks for making this channel man, it brightens my day :)
I currently have the G910 and it is kind of a let down. It cannot handle the color wave...hiccups so much that way. I am getting rid of it and getting one of these. I loved my old K95
I don't know if it is just the way the camera picks up the light, but the lights seem extremely inconsistent and flash brighter and darker extremely fast. It is really bothering me, and I was wondering if it actually does that. I also checked other reviews, and in all the videos I saw the same flashing light and dark inconsistency in the lights. So can someone who has it tell me if it actually does this? If you don't know what I am talking about, go to 2:31 when he takes off the keycap.
I have to say, I enjoyed Linus' review. Yes he didn't actually demo the keyboard (-1 point for that Linus. Oh, did I mention this is the review of your review?) but he speaks his mind, clearly and succinctly. Loved the expressions too, the ecstasy of the keyboards arrival, the gawking at the HUGE manual download. He has energy and enthusiasm. Good job Linus. Just, make sure you demo the keyboard next time.
I am very happy with my K70 RGB keyboard from Corsair! The ability to edit almost every button in many ways possible is just amazing! It's true that you need some time to learn to use the program, but soon you will be testing it and trying new ways of making your own profile setting to your taste. Also the light edit flexibility is great to have and not many keyboards offer that! If you turn off the lights of your keyboard it's still easy to see whats on the button key Also the weight of this keyboard is just what i wanted, it's made of aluminum wich gives a solid hard metal feel and i find that awesome! Also if you ever clean your keyboard it's possible to remove the keycap to easily clean it. Overal i really like this keyboard and for everyone who likes gaming, this is it. There is also the K95 RGB version wich add's additional keys on the left side. And the price between the K70 and the K95 is not much!
Can you do an update on this product? It's still very expensive and I'd like to know if the software issues have been resolved and how it compares to similar keyboards and newer models offered by corsair
I`ve had a Logitech G11 now since it came out in whatever year, can`t remember. And now I bought this keyboard, getting it this Friday. If it holds for as many years as the logitech one, I`ll be happy. I have a Corsair PSU from the same year as I bought the G11, and I still have it, and it works fine. So I`m expecting great things from this keyboard!
Wow, I'm 6 years late showing up to the party but it's because I only started gaming when COVID hit 🤣🤣 I'm doing research and my budget is $250 for a mechanical gaming keyboard, I want this keyboard but does it still kick ass or should I go with the K95?
@@EpicDrew15 Curious what are your thoughts on the K100, is it over kill? I might go with that keyboard.. I also do photography and videography and the multi-purpose dial would be a game changer when I'm editing.
Am I the only one watching these keyboards for professional use and not only gaming? That singular key different light thing must be amazing for After effects and Adobe products. Not to mention 3Ds Max and other 3D applications.
I have never watched this video until today and I bought a Corsair K70 RGB about 1 week ago because it looked awseome and I have used one and had corsair products before and I liked them. BUT I BOUGHT THE SAME KEYBOARD AS LINUS FOR THE EXACT SAME REASON HE DID. ITS A FRICKIN AMAZING KEYBOARD. EndRant Quick review though, amazing keyboard, switches feel amazing, keyboard has a very solid construction with its burshed metal that suits in perfectly with the rest of my setup. Also I find that the keys feel better than the razer chroma keyboard, also the RGB LED's are really bright!
The keyboard looks so smooth. All of my friends is telling me to buy the Razer blackwidow Chroma because it's the best but i'm not too sure.Corsair K70 RGB:+ wrist rest+ better quality on switches+ smoother layout+ media buttons+ Brushed metal +/- A bit complicated software but there are a bunch of more options than razer Synapse.- darker lightning compared to blackwidow chromaRazer Blackwidow Chroma:+ Brighter lightning effects+ A less complicated software- Chinese switches (bad quality)- Loud switches (green and blue)- no wrist rest- no media buttons - bad layout- plastic- ugly as hell- Lesser options in the software
Necromancer here. May I ask Sir Plouffe to review the new Corsair K70 MAX keyboard with magnetic switches? And overall era of hall effect switches in mech keyboards.
Linus, since the CUE update I have not seen you publish any videos relevant to the newer, more updated software from corsair. Would you be willing to create a newer, updated video on the topic?
I just receive my Cherry Red K65 RGB few days ago . Feels so weird , this is my first ever mechanical keyboard . LED's good , Build Quality good , and the wrist rest included . I'm gonna post something if anything goes wrong [LED's going off , another]
I personally would go for the Corsair K70 over the strafe or razor chroma. In terms of colour, there's really no point to even consider the razor since the strafe has the same if not better colour output. Now in regards to the Strafe vs. the K70 I would go with the K70 for the build quality and amazing design. Sure the lights on the strafe are nicer, but realistically you dont want your lights full blast while gaming, its like blue switches, they're nice for awhile, but annoying in the long run. Having awesome colour effects does not improve the performance of your gaming or typing, however having a solid build and badass looking keyboard is always a plus. Sure the K70 doesnt have a usb port which is a downer but besides that, it has dedicated media keys, the sexiest design I have seen so far for a keyboard and most importantly (and this is why I choose it over the strafe) it looks good with OR without LED's this means 7-8 years from now when some of the LED's will inevitably die, I can simply not use the LED function and the keyboard will still feel and look amazing. This is basically like getting a keyboard at the same build quality as the the Das keyboard that's not only cheaper but also provides RGB, and the software after the updates is descent, on top of that I hear a lot of people whining about how complicated the software is which is true, that's why you go to the forums and import profiles others have spent tones of hours on...honestly people.

I have not had any problems with LED's dying or with keys losing their responsiveness.
Biggest Pro: Responsiveness
Biggest Con: Cumbersome and complicated software interface
how long have you been using it?
About 5 months now Renan Poersch
the lighting is awesome - it'll be a year before other keyboard companies can use Cherry MX switches with this RGB lighting, in my opinion it's probably worth waiting until companies that produce 'better' keyboards get hold of this.
you could put some Vortex PBT backlighting-compatible keycaps on this but it'd still have the lame logo, annoying buttons at the top right of the case, and a non-detachable wrist-rest
I am DEFINATELY 100% with you Linus when you got that OMG expression on your face about the size of that manual. You defined a speachless version of the OMG thing, congrats!
Be jelly, I pre-ordered the keyboard as soon as I could and I got one with the old logo :) AMAZING
Flat4Buggy how new logo is cheaper ?
Dieu Tran Quang Because no one wants garbage.
The old logo is still available on newegg
Aesthetically this keybo looks great. But why the ugly batch? Look at how CM Storm does it; a simple gray logo that doesn't staand out. Looks way more elegant.
Btw, not sure about the US, but Antec never had a dominating position in the power supply market here in Europe.
***** Worldwid in the mid 2000s Antec was an incredibly dominant player in PSUs and cases.
+LinusTechTips worldwid? Don't you mean worldwide? ;p
superdoorknob22 xD
superdoorknob22 **Sigh** Congrats, well done.
my first mechanical keyboard. bought it preloved a few days ago but still under warranty. mine has a red switch and boy i am in love with this keyboard. got the corsair gaming logo though but i don't give a crap. still loving it!
RGB LED to the PCB. That's really fun to say.
My K70 RGB is not the same as that. There are a few versions? My logo at the top is just a black Corsair itching.
They changed the logo very recently
You lucky dog!
I bet you can sell that thing on ebay for alot....
mine also has the black logo, i found that quite strange
*****
yo man i got one ill ship to you for $2000
I've had the K70 for a few years and it's awesome - best keyboard I have ever used. Just bought the M65 Pro RGB mouse to go with it - they are a good combo!

1imit Because in current society it is considered something fucktards like you say
Just bought mine. I actually spent an hour toying with the software and would safely say I have gotten the generic hang of it. I love this keyboard to death and so far have zero regret. 10/10 would buy again
picked up a razer blackwidow chroma recently only for it straight out the box to have broken switches. gonna go get a k70 and refund this piece of shit. fuck razer!
Jordan Davies well said
Jordan Davies I personally like the blackwidow :)
HeroicVisions the lighting system is amazing and the keys themselves are pretty good its the lack of consistency on the quality of their products that will probably mean I won't buy from their online store again
Jordan Davies True. I have a Razer mouse and keyboard. They are pretty good quality products, but I see your point.
HeroicVisions Hope yours hold up which i'm sure they will. Just hope you never have to use their support cause having been using it over the last 2 weeks it is AWFUL.

I can't find the Corsair Gaming K70 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard In Cherry MX Blue ANYWHERE?
Is it discontinued or just out of stock everywhere?
forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=751211 Unfortunately, they're discontinued... I really wanted this keyboard with the blues. ):
Did they discontinue them in brown too? Only third parties are selling them ATM.

I like my Logitech G19S and hope it lasts a long time. So far so good

Fuck corsair.

08point7 not corsair's fault.
Reach but it is.
JΛIKΣ they do have blue switches but they sell out quickly.
*edit i lied, they did discontinue it :(
***** No it's not corsair's fault. Cherry MX makes the switches...
Oreo1298PvP Cherry didn't stop making the switches, corsair just stopped making a keyboard with the switches.
CORSAIR WE ALL WANT THE OLD LOGO THUMPS UP SO THEY CAN CEE
I bought the K95 RGB instead because I wanted the macros too, and so far it has been the right choice! Within the software, there is a menu for your macros and i loOve the shortcut option. I can now open my WoT, LoL, Minecraft etc. by just pressing a single button, not even having to touch the mouse:D
The new logo is so trashy, ugly, and overall disgusting.
Robotic Pineapple Just signed it thanks for posting that
definitely agreed, its horrible
Robotic Pineapple Just signed it i can't stand the new logo...
Almost vomit-worthy
1. Stupid logo
2. $170 keyboard
I've just spray painted that ugly retarded logo
who gives a fuck about the logo for one and its $170 for a reason, they must have spent a while to set up the software for that keyboard. Also the cost to manufacture and the research and science behind designing it.
Ferzhq The science behind putting an LED on a motherboard PCB you mean? Yeah, a lot of RnD money must have gone into that....
TheDigitalRealm more than you will ever know, its not as simple as taking the k70 PCB and sticking RGB LEDs on it, there was a lot of RnD but you can chose to be ignorant to it because you are just a consumer
Matt McP Wow okay, while you may have a point about RnD, seriously fuck off with that attitude.
Just gonna say thanks for talking like a normal people. It allows me to watch your videos with captions without it going completely insane.
2020 anyone?
Yeh, do you think it's still good to use?
Yeh, I bought mine a week ago, and gotta say: IT'S AMAZING, the software is not bad, although a bit confusing at first.
But as it's my first keyboard, and I'm not a pc gamer (yet), so I use it mor for typing. but intend to buy a gaming pc soon.
@@gustavovrbarros Where did you get it from? I've been looking for the K70 RGB, but it seems impossible to find these days. Might be just because I'm in Canada.

Am I the only person that doesn't really give a shit about an irrelevant logo on the top of my keyboard?
I dont really care either.
Idk, I like compact keyboards without any unnecessary stuff (SteelSeries Apex M500, etc)
Amazon wants me to pay £50 more for the updated logo? Yeah, fuck that. I give 0 fucks about the logo.
Josh Stirling ikr I would paint over it.
just because you can't get the hang of the software doesn't mean it's bad. the software is sophisticated. It's like learning a new programming language. It's easy to download an app from the internet use it, but understanding a language makes you capable of making any app you want.

The best gaming keyboard ever made? hah. Get a Filco.
There's nothing particularly "gaming" about a Filco... Unless you just mean the colour scheme... Many other mechanical keyboards with similar build quality and more gaming optimized feature sets from the likes of Gamdias, Tesoro, Corsair, Logitech and Razer to name a few.
LinusTechTips Aaron Dragg #rekt
or a ducky ;)
LinusTechTips Hijacking this comment chain for visibility.
The problems with that keyboard in particular are the 1x keys on the bottom row, the absence of macro keys (how is that gamer then ? the colours aren't made for gamers, they're made for people that like flashy hardware, which isn't bad, it's just not gamer specific), the new Corsair logo, and the very fact it's a backlit keyboard reduces it's lifespan. It isn't the ultimate backlit keyboard Corsair could have made, they fucked up details and it's too bad.
LinusTechTips And Razer quality is not even close to Filco, Leopold or any other premium keyboard brand.
What the fuck? What's with that *awful* rebranding? The original Corsair logo is so much more appealing. I can't believe they'd make such a stupid move on a major product like this. I really hope they don't slap this shit on their future cases.
maybe they are trying to appeal to the razer crowd
yea i wanted to buy this but this new logo....
Jussi Nurkkala your going to not buy a product because of a logo?
***** yep, corsair lost out on my k95 rgb and rgb m65 buy because that damned hideous tramp stamp

DComm15 I'm might get the K70 because I don't need macros. I want the K65, but it's not available in Canada. I'll also be getting red switches.

I"ll be your friend. I live in Minnesota, we're practically brothers.
***** That will probably be a WHILE considering they are kinda supposed to be EXCLUSIVE to corsair, but that would be interesting
***** No problem. Good to hear you were able to make a choice. I have the reds as well. You wont be disappointed.
all of r/mk is screaming
Razer keyboards are for 9 year old who play mine craft.
And have rich parents
+urawesome2 uh they're around the same price as the corsair ones

+Juice Box razer is giant shit xD I bought a razer naga hex and only last 6 months wtf
If you don't use a Razer keyboard, you should be able to type Minecraft correctly.
I was very close to choosing this keyboard for my next build... until I thought about the software. I'm a big Logitech fan, have been for a while, no other product line has impressed me as much as theirs.
When I found the G810, an RGB keyboard with similar specs, price, was minimalist but full 104, and worked with Logitech Gaming Software, I was sold on that idea.
seriously.... why do people not include key sounds in their videos??????
there are many videos showing this, they are just standard cherry mx keys (this comes in red and brown, blue discontinued)

Damn I just bought a k70 and searching this brought me from Linus installing a projector in his house in 2022 straight to this old school shit
***** Alright thanks for clearing that up ;)
+Oliwolf78 It's like that for monitors too.
I pre-ordered this and got the old Corsair logo on the board. Looks GREAT.
Just bought one. I'm sure I'll be happy with the purchase.
ive been having the non-rgb one for the fifth year now. still works well. sure you'll enjoy the rgb one.
Linus forgot to say about the lighting freezing problem when a lock button is pressed repeatedly, as well the software problems when gaming with steam
bought the keyboard back in 2014 after watching this video. still using that same one today :)
same here bro
And the price between the K70 and the K95 is not much!
omg so i had the k70 rapidfire for almost 3 years and i just found out you don't need to plug the second cable. thanks linus for the free usb port.
Wow, I'm 6 years late showing up to the party but it's because I only started gaming when COVID hit 🤣🤣
I'm doing research and my budget is $250 for a mechanical gaming keyboard, I want this keyboard but does it still kick ass or should I go with the K95?
@@EpicDrew15 Curious what are your thoughts on the K100, is it over kill? I might go with that keyboard.. I also do photography and videography and the multi-purpose dial would be a game changer when I'm editing.
Am I the only one watching these keyboards for professional use and not only gaming? That singular key different light thing must be amazing for After effects and Adobe products. Not to mention 3Ds Max and other 3D applications.
I like how you do reviews in the most interesting looking locations, like your kitchen.
3 months later and I have had 2 teplacements both have failed. RIP

I'm gonna post something if anything goes wrong [LED's going off , another]
+Fajar FJ everything is fine i guess? Got used to the typing? :D
everything's fine till now , have no dead LED till now , and my typing just go faster :) [based on typing test]
K70 Has USB port, by the way.
This video was great man. You're a great salesman. This is why you're successful.
3 years later...
Can you actually just pull out the switch in order to change them or do you have to solder them out of the keyboard?
I have enjoyed your videos for along time, this one is by far my favorite, keep up the great work!
