I always wondered why you gave up the engraved rehaut for this one with the older movement, but the bracelet issue makes perfect sense. Glad to see the video about this one at last!
Looks pristine, peak Explorer 2! I kinda get why Rolex moved to a 42 dial with a big orange hand for legibility, but this design was perfection. Thanks for the vid!
Got the exact same one absolutely love it 40mm so much nicer don't even know you have it on your wrist, lovely collection, real Shame you guys and timmy aren't speaking anymore 😢
Had this one, loved it to bits, also the 40mm Sea Dweller. But polar was just too small for my wrist and lack of cyclops on SD 40 does not help when you start getting older and squinting to see the date... So I got SD43 and 226570 Polar. The only pre-ceramic I really want now is the Coke, just adore the colour combo. Your one is spectacular. Wear them all in good health man
I'm new to collecting, one yr 12 watches, starting to warm up to that Patek Philippe. Already a fan of Rolex but don't own 1. My best are Omega silver snoopy & Tudor BB Panda. I'll get there 1 day..
Quick question: Is there any reason why you didn’t just consider buying a new bracelet (or even sending it out to the “bracelet magician”)? Is it your preference for “holes” cases?
@@The_RealStarkIndustries a few reasons…I prefer the holes cases aesthetically. They’re actually very different shapes. The no holes cases have more dramatic features in how the lugs are sloped. Secondly, the 3186 Explorer had very strong lume that could be seen during the day (not what I enjoyed seeing with a white dial).
Interesting what you say about the bracelet. I'm currently wearing my 16570 polar Explorer II. It has a Swiss-only polar dial (1999) and a hollow end link bracelet with the same 78790 code as yours. On the 6 o'clock side the bracelet has 4 unscrewed links. Does yours have 3 and an extra screwed link?
Stunning example of the 16570 and wonderful collection! Which dealer do you recommend? I have the 14270 and 16570 that I’m thinking of trading up. Thanks!
it’s a lovely watch Diego. personally i love your Aquanaut and your trio of holes case steel Rolex. if you were to bag another Patek i would let Reverso and Daytonas go rather than these, they’re all classic understated watches.
@@rmagoo57 unfortunately, I can’t go 14060 (the hollow end link bracelets have one less removable link, so it’d never fit me..too big). Also not a huge fan of the Kermit. Perhaps a holes case 16610 with solid end links though!

One thing I didn’t mention was the lume on the 3186 Explorer was extremely strong (took away from the white dial in daylight). Overall I’m very happy.

Enjoy the watch! Appreciate you watching!
Love that you now have three holes case pre-ceramic. I would have done the same sort of thing. Upvoted!!! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching bud!
Beautiful piece!

Wonderful piece...the polar Explorer 2 can be my last and only watch ever.
It’s a great one and done watch!

Congratulations! It's gorgeous You have great taste
Excellent!
Thank you! Cheers!
Another great video! Question: 16700 quick set date vs 16710 independent 24hr hand which one are you choosing?
Oh man..I love the nostalgia of the 16700, but I need solid end link bracelet, so 16710.
Beautiful watch! I am considering a 16570 but on the fence given my small wrists. May I ask what your wrist circumference is?
Get it from a dealer? Anyone you recommend?
Great vid bro

MVV Watches is my go to for pre-ceramics. Be patient as he gets new inventory often (wait for the right piece).
Diego I’m thinking of picking up a Rolex 1600. What are your thoughts? 😊

Very nice! We have similar tastes and watches. Since you have the 16600, maybe go for the 14060 or the 16610LV next??

@@sloaneharris8730 possibly yea. I have a few other pieces I’m interested in consolidating towards.
What will it cost for you to depart with your 16750?
