I used the Idle Integral from the C6 ZR1 (10 RPM vs 12 RPM) and it smoothed out my idle after the LS9 cam swap (211/230/122.5 .562/.562). I also copied the rest of the idle adaptives and timing from the ZR1 and it drives great. I think the C6 ZR1 is a better tune to copy from when working with a big cam, the stock CTS-V cam is really small. On a side note I have learned the majority of my tuning from you and Matt, thank you!
That is great to hear! And perhaps I will give the ZR1 P/I a shot too. I think no matter what, it is best to use the factor settings. I see too many people attempt to correct idle problems using the P/I controller and they end up causing more problems than they originally had.
Halving these also made my cam sound less lopey and slightly better take off (M6 trans) Doubling them made it lope hard and was kinda a slug taking off. weird
The MBT table is used to calculate the actual timing desired from a given torque value requested. ECM calculates all the max attainable values and compares to this MBT table to calculate % torque loss from spark retard.
He got slammed with work after becoming a famous RUclips tuner! I am happy for him! I am sure he will start posting again once things start to settle down and he gets in a groove.
Unfortunately the PIDs they map for each OS is hit and miss. i was lucky that they got the good ones. You can request them to add it, but expect them to say no. As far as I know they are DONE with anything Gen4 related.
SilverSurfer… going beyond the boundaries, where no man has traveled before… the MBT barrier 😂
Thanks for your time & all the new strategies man!

Just an extra data point. My 08 C6 LS3/TR6060 has 10 RPM as an integral enable value as well.
I have increased my integrals on the right and reduced on the left. Also halfed the Over under spark tables. Idle is stable enough to stay running!

I was a member of Matt''s channel but he quit posting at all. I'm gonna try this on my Gen III truck and see if anything changes.

@@SilverSurfer77 Happy for him too, but he could have at least said something to his paying members. #notbitter😂😂
To get the idle air PI channels, do you just email HPtuners and ask them to add it? I don’t see why those channels wouldn’t be standard.
