I have the similar model of 55015 from Accurascale bought via the Deltic Preservation Society, but mine is only for display. It is certainly an impressive and imposing model and very nicely detailed. But I think models are becoming almost too detailed (and overly fragile) nowadays, plus the eye-watering prices being charged - its all a long way away from those early Wrenn / Triang days of simple models! Thanks for uploading this.
We have missed you mate. Happy New Year! Never saw a Deltic down in Cornwall but Rule 1 applies of course. Hope to see some more videos from you in 2023. Mark
Dear Kevin - wonderful to see you back online, Merry Christmas (belated) and a Happy New Year, I hope that there'll be more videos coming out this year. How is that O Gauge Western coming along?? Best wishes Michael
Great to see you back mate hope you have had a lovely Christmas you and the family did Santa bring you any train stuff?? I do like this loco it looks mean sounds great cheers Paul
Cough... splutter... gasp... A Deltic running on Penwithers 😲 What sort of blasphemy is this? 🧐🤣 Nah, only kidding! It's just that I never took to Deltics at all, thought they sounded like washing machines on their spin cycle, but in fact the Napier engines are a bit of an engineering marvel, so they are certainly interesting locos from that perspective. Bit of an East Coast Mainline icon as well, so I mustn't knock them...Too much... 😉 Good to see Penwithers on RUclips again Kevin!
Hi Kevin, that Deltic sure looks the part on the layout. Wondering if your changing location to the ECML now? Great stuff, and thankyou, best wishes Dave.
Looks good and sounds great , nice to have you back ..........Peter
Thanks Peter
Make a headboard with PENWITHERS RAIL TOURS would look prefect, all the best for 2023
Could do
