As I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed less hair on my head I wouldn’t call it balding but relocation as it seems I’ve gotten hair everywhere else

Loosing my hair has been the worst thing that ever happened in my life, the reality is that not every guy looks good bald, if you don’t have a good bone structure, head shape you don’t look good with a shaved head. I don’t have a social life any more, I’ve been so depressed for the last 10 years it’s hard to get up every morning.
Have you considered alternative options such as SMP, or a toupee?

Baldness only suits certain people. I'm pale, with a weirdly angular head, so I'll never suit it. I can't wait for an androgens alopecia cure, just for peace of mind.

You don't have to shave it all off. Just trim it down as short as possible and keep it clean

Peter :P A head that doesn't have excess skin on the nape of neck. Also a skull with a higher vertex, giving the egg head shape apperance. Even a head that is square is horrid. The best shape for bald is arguably an oval shaped head.

As a 26 year old guy, I made the decision to finally start shaving my head at 22. I started shaving noticing it at 19. That was a rough 3 years. Going chrome was the best decision I've ever made.
I love Becky, she is just an awesome role model for any women struggling with hair loss issues. My mom has been fighting her thinning hair for years now but if that gets passed onto me I plan to just have my head and go with it

I was balding since i was 17 and it was devastating . then i went to the completely shaved head look when i got to 21 & that’s 10 years ago .. i have so much confidence and i’ll never try to get any kind of hair up there ;)

I'm a 39 year old male Christian man, 6"2, decent looking (I got 7-8.5 on photofeeler), well travelled, level headed, down to earth etc but I am brown skinned. This is something many will not admit to but race plays a crucial factor. White women generally are not into brown or dark skin. People prefer their own race and that's just how it is. I have to accept that sadly but this is the major reason as to why I'm single.
It may not be too late to meet someone but I haven't even come close to being in a relationship for years now. I rarely even meet someone I want to pursue. The few I do aren't into me and the ones that are, I'm not into. There always seems to be something missing. I very rarely get a mutual match on hinge and other dating apps. Meanwhile, people around me are getting together slowly and although there are others in my situation, I am worried about being left on the shelf and being alone for the rest of my life. I don't want to continue living if that's the case. I've tried to lower my standards but that's the worst possible strategy, pretending and forcing yourself to like someone you know you're not into.
With no one to share my life with, my existence is very lonely and empty. I have full time work but it's not fulfilling at all. I have my own home which is nice and I'm grateful for this but I struggle to see hope in the future at this point.

All of those people that say or think that baldness is dominant, or good looking or sexy, I wish all of them, their family members, and their loveones lose their hair, so they would have the dominant , sexy, and good look with their lost hair, so they would enjoy themselves with their dominant, sexy, and good look with their lost hair.

I was literally thinking about going bald today. Starting losing my hair at 20 too.
I like guys who are completely bald. Make me think of athletes and police officers. My dad was also bald since my childhood and he worked in the sheriff's department so that may also play a role.
I'm bald and I know how losing my hair has affected my attractiveness and that in turn my overall confidence. I used to be quite good looking with hair. I was fairly successful online but now as a bald guy I get nowhere near the same level of interest. The interest I do get are from 3s and 4s. Very rarely get interest from 7s or 8s and I find that this is the case in reality. It's unusual to see bald guys with attractive women. It's rare.
Looks do matter. It's not everything but it is what attracts us to someone at least initially.
Skyclasp-absolutely man, you’re right. For some people it might be okay, but for some others, it really matters for your looks; it can really alter the shape of your face. If you’re one of those that really become less attractive, I would do anything I can to keep hair. If you lost too much, just go for a hair system; it does wonders for many.
Thanks for this... I'm 31 and my hairline just started thinning last year. It's not completely bald just very thin and I've been very insecure about it. I've been getting really low fades which only last for a week or two. This is an encouraging video because I know sooner then later I'm going to have to go fully bald.

Ever since i became bald, my sex life diminished totally. I'm doing hair transplatation in summer. A guy with no sex life creates angry and bitter individuals....i have an attractive Face (the girls say), shave my head and wear caps all the time. When i take off my cap they automatically reject me since there is no shadow on top. It really sucks man....

I sincerely hope they find a definitive cure for baldness. At this point, telling ourselves that we "are awesome" being bald, is only coping with the situation. I like how a full head of hair keeps you from having a shiny round head. Also, if being bald was such a good thing, then more women would shave their heads, but that's not gonna happen.
If being bald was so awesome, you'd see many bald men with decent/or better women. But there's a good reason why women run away from bald men, with some exceptions.

As a bald and brown skinned man, I know it is limiting my dating options. I used to be good looking with hair in my 20s but now at 37, I have this shiny bald head, I get nowhere near the same level of interest. Well that is apart from women over the age of around 35. I get a ton of matches for this age group but women around 28-33 aren't that keen. That's been my experience. I'm interested in finding out what other bald guys experiences have been before I get the usual oh but look at world famous, filthy rich, movie stars like Jason statham and the Rock etc.
Do you dress well? Are you on good shape? Are you short? It sounds like you’re insecure about it so I’m guessing you are putting that negative energy out there and people can totally pick up on it.. if you start acting like it’s no big deal than it will become no big deal. You need to start talking to woman out in public more as well. Dating apps can be difficult at times..
@@DoubleDash28 Thanks for the reply. Yes. Yes and No. I dress well, I have decent style. I'm slim but not buff so yeah could do with going to the gym on occasion but I play tennis three times a week so I'm active and athletic in that sense. And I'm 6"2 so my height is probably all I got going for me but clearly, that does seem to matter. I think most women cannot see my past the brown skin and the bald head. Facially I think I have reasonably good features but like I say bald and brown...and also I'm low status relatively speaking. I have an OK job, my own flat, financially stable for now but that's not enough. I'm not successful and I have no future vision. Women want to see that in a man.
I'm 38 now and still no progress. Go on dates but can't find the connection.

Im 18 and my hair is extremely thinning.I can fit my my entire palm on my forehead and I feel a bold patch on the top of my head growing wider night by night. I cry every morning realizing that I will go bold and my friends, family and just anyone who will judge me, think of me as a sick being. A disaster, a failure. Please, anybody I need help. I don't know what to do.
Marty ram ❤️ Looks don't equal worth. You are a worthy person no matter what you look like! There will always be people who judge but judging just shows how awful that person is. Change can be scary but I bet you will have plenty of people who accept you, and I hope you will be able to find acceptance of yourself too.

When it fell out I shaved it all off with a clipper at first, but now I razor it regularly.

Technically he does have alopecia. It's androgenic alopecia, not alopecia areata. I am female and I have androgenic alopecia because of a hormone disorder. It sucks and I hate it.
I have a lot of hair so I don't need to shave my head or anything, but ever since December i've wanted to at least once and then grow it back. Possibly at the end of this semester.

I think many people get the issue when they look at this bald man. He has lots to compensate for. He’s good looking, tall, nice head shape, nice smile etc. However, for many among us, being bald means really becoming Less appealing. Especially if your hair covered a bigger forehead or if your head is quite small or if your neck is a bit thin etc.

For the sweat thing when exercising I recommend cold showers after a barber appointment. Or soaking your head in ice water, though that's a bit harder. Also make your bald head like your face and make sure you moisturize it.

Having low bodyfat really helps when rocking the bald look. If male, consider getting ripped and growing facial hair - boom, you now look like a badass.

You should have also mentioned that touching a person's bald head without permission is an absolute NO!. It is equivalent to touching someone's bare skin on any other part of the body without permission. Imagine a man walking through a club and running his hand through a woman's hair at random, or grabbing her hair aggressively. It it rude, and very forward behavior. Now, when she/he asks politely if they can rub your head, it is quite a different encounter. Thank you for all you do.
