Walter goggins is criminally underrated. Dude killed it on the shield. His ability to add layers and complexity to what should be an unlikable, irredeemable character is amazing.
"Your teeth glow in the dark" has made me laugh hysterically for years. Know what the fantastic part about Boyd's monologue to Raylan in the forest is? It eventually came to pass. Raylan eventually crossed the line in City Primeval, which makes the ending of that series so incredible. Boyd not only does beat Raylan(though it took him 2 decades to do it), but he's free as well.
He was supposed to die in Episode 1 but was so damn good that they decided to bring him back to be the main villain of the show. That's what happens when your charisma stat is maxed all the way.
I wouldn't call Boyd a villain necessarily. He was never really scheming to ruin Raylan's life outside of the first season. Raylan just didn't like what a mirror Boyd was. He showed Raylan everything he would have been if he didn't try to walk the straight path. So Raylan was always out for Boyd and constantly forcing their paths to intersect.
So well written and acted. Walton's performance made this an all time villain arc. There was so much unexpected depth to Boyd Crowder that he brought out.
My great grandpa was a coal miner. He ended up buying a bunch of cheap, mined land. He built houses and and sold them to my family members for dollars. I’m no stranger to hard work, but from what I hear, coal mining is about as hard as it gets
@AdamRiley20 Thank you for your concern sir, but I'm 3rd generation under here and I love it! Working beside my dad whose 65 and going strong, and my brothers, good honest work.
"WOW" This series Rocks!! Walton Goggins shows how talented he really is. He is such a natural in this show one would almost believe this is how he really is 😅😁♥️👍 Raylan and Dewey are great actors matching alongside Boyd it brings your watching experience to a new plateau. To all the actors and writers YOU MUST have a sequel 🙏♥️ Love it, have watched 4 times in a row. Didn't want to miss one of Walton Goggins lines. You are so very talented 🥰♥️♥️♥️👍
I've had this Video in my Saved List since the day it was Posted and I've watched it dozens of times . There's humor and anger and sentiment and deep love in this Video . Whoever created this Video did an Amazing job with it . And I just want to say thank you for putting this together and sharing it . I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe . 😎🎸😎
The hillbilly routine is sn act, just like his preaching, and just like his law abiding stage. He wants others to think he's a dumb hillbilly but he's just an articulate strategist
There were so many iconic scenes in that Pilot episode and throughout the show. This really was a rivalry of the ages and few shows have come close to the Antihero/Villain story of Raylen v Boyd. The final scene and ending was just perfect.
I think the first comment was correct....there are a few duos that have worked and still work.... Redford and Newman, Pacino and Di Nero and many others that vi cant remember right now....but those two were really great together! They so played their parts as if it was so real....you can get lost in their dialogue and acting....i really hope they BOTH have one more chance to be Raylon and Boyd or obe last rodeo so to speak......❤❤
Just goes to show the man’s range of acting 😂 at the start when you see Venus it’s just funny and comedic but later on you actually feel empathy for Venus n tig
I just don't watch TV, but the excellent acting in this series was damn near impossible to ignore nor avoid. The storyline absolutely pegged the needle on the suspension of disbelief. That didn't matter, it was too good to not watch
Boyd had his ups and downs but he truly loved ava. Seems like everytime boys tried to be good someone dragged him back in, either his father or old crew or something. Goggins was born to be Boyd crowder.

He was incredible on the movie Predators where they realized they were on another world to be hunted like prey.
Cleeetus van dam!
Don't forget soa absolute legend
Add the Ghoul in Fallout to the Lit. And Uncle Baby Billy.
@@nivekianuncle Billy is glorious. Potentially his best work
The whole "we dug coal together" line, followed by, "That's right," was the best ending I've seen for a series.
Sticking the landing. Being able to end something well - it seems to me this is among the most important things story tellers can do.
@timothydavidcurp with out a doubt
@@timothydavidcurp no doubt, and what a hell of a story they told.
Annnnnd then the "sequel series" happened.
Yes.

now he plays a ghoul with 100 to all stats after 200 years of roaming the wasteland

@@zach16201 What? Complete sentences are a thing.
I don't think there's ever gonna be a better duo.
🫵🏼💯💯💯💯
I love Boyd Crowder. One of the few "bad guys" i actually rooted for. Walton Goggins deserves as many awards as he can carry.
So well written and acted. Walton's performance made this an all time villain arc. There was so much unexpected depth to Boyd Crowder that he brought out.
This show justified me a lifetime fan of Tim and Walton
One of the greatest shows ever made. I could watch it over and over
Boyd, Eva, Dewey, Darryl, Limehouse, Dickie, Duffy.. excellent characters and acting.
Would love to see a spinoff series that follows Wyn Duffy around in that dog grooming vehicle.
Dickie 😂😂😂 what a beautifully written loser.
"We dug coal together," damn bubba thats a line and a half!! I'm a 21 y.o underground miner and that final line is epic!

"I've been called a lot of things, "inarticulate" ain't one of them" is one of my favorite lines
I can watch this show over and over again. Fell in love with Timothy Olyphant in Deadwood and this just made it deeper
This is one of my favorite shows. Boyd Crowder made you root for him.

This role should've got him an Oscar.
"Your teeth glow in the dark" is too funny.
Well written show with unique characters. An overall classic…
I love that Limehouse digs Goggins up in Fallout. I mean he’s Boyd 2.0 with Raylan’s excellent marksmanship. And Limehouse gets his 😂
Walton Goggins is absolutely amazing as this character
I love every role I've ever seen him from Boyd to Baby Billy and loved him in The Unicorn too

Walter is probably the slickest man to ever do it
Who is Walter?
I love that Walton can pull pretty much a Robin Williams or Leslie Nielsen be completely known for one genre and be able to nearly perfectly transfer
I love Boyd’s hillbilly eloquence.
The hillbilly routine is sn act, just like his preaching, and just like his law abiding stage. He wants others to think he's a dumb hillbilly but he's just an articulate strategist
One clip of this is better than a whole season of the reboot.
Dam it wasn't any good? No mention of Boyd?
@@booboo4ever24Boyd is in it, but he’s barely a supporting character
Now that’s how you conclude a Series!!
I wasn't interested in what I assumed was some typical cop drama, but this guy reeled me right in. He's amazing

I caught myself cheering for Boyd occasionally. I was really cheering for him against Quarles during Season 3.
You ended it perfect 👌.
The we dug coal together scene is the best
This actor is a jewel. Can NOT believe they left him out of the new series ‼️‼️‼️
Walton Goggins dumped his SPECIAL into max charisma and max luck
Walton Goggins reminds me of a young Bruce Dern. It's the TEETH.
😁😁😁
Its Jack N...but he's totally his own man..the sheild.after Tarantino.Films.'Six'..seals.On t.v in N.Z.😊
He does kinda remind me of Bruce Dern, too, now that you mention it. It's not just the teeth. It's his voice and the eloquent way he speaks.
If you want a show to be great just cast Walton Goggins.
Raylan and Boyd are like Batman and Joker
Is that Venus from SOA 🤣

THE best TV series----------with the best ending , ever. EVER. -----------MJL, 77 y/o
"Take you to town, tie you to a tree and wait?" that was good foreshadowing of what Dickie Bennet and Wade Messer would do to Raylan.
I'm from the north. A destitute mining village. It's like that for us too. Although that time has almost passed from memory to history.
Put "we dug coal together" on my goddamn tombstone boys, because these two will be the death of me. 🤧
I wish boyd and raylan would've teamed up but people kept pushing boyd and didn't believe he changed
Best villain in my book, hands down.
Boyd had his ups and downs but he truly loved ava. Seems like everytime boys tried to be good someone dragged him back in, either his father or old crew or something. Goggins was born to be Boyd crowder.
Keep it chronological please....as a fan
We might as well "Gidder Done"!
Great actors bouncing off one another .
How is this the best of Boyd Crowder when it don't have the Dale Crowe Jr scene in the bar..??
This scene makes me tear up lol fckkkkk
“What are you packing” “you’ll pay to find that out” “oooo you got ice cold water running through yr veins”
Here's to Walton Goggins! And, here's to his nose!
I just realized something. I think Walt Goggins is channeling a bit of Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday in his role here.
“We dug coal together.”
“That’s right.”
Me: “Don’t cry don’t cry don’t cry be a man goddammit…”
Welcome Fallout fans!
Best married couple since the odd couple
This video is 85 hours too short
He owned Raylan in that holler when.they hadvtheir cat and mouse game. Boyd's whistling had Raylan so confused
I like to think the goul in the fallout TV series is Boyd 😂
now he is being side tracked by bullshit
Every god damn time
You have the very first clip wrong, Its from the season1 finale. If you're gonna rip off shows for views at least be right LOL
Wild West? Hate to tell you, but Appalachia is not the West.
It’s west of the Atlantic Coast
Yeah well California is also technically the west so obviously things change
Your teeth glow in the dark lol
... Is digging coal a euphemism for something or did they actually dig coal
In the show they dug coal together when they was 19 yrs old.
They grew up together and worked in the mine together before Raylan left to become a fed
It's oil drilling that's the euphemism you're thinking of
Nope. Irritating character. Easily could cut him out of the series.
How ?
