I have the cube street mk2 and absolutely love it. I do some beatboxing and occasional karaoke with friends. For the price it's the best bang for your buck setup! No other amp on the market has a looper, a mic input, many different effects. It even takes BASS well!
True. It has many features for an amp. I didn’t give it a fair trial in this video, my camera ran out of battery when I was half way through that bit - didn’t realise what had happened until the amp had left the studio :/
Hi! I'd love to revive this comment from the dead haha, I also beatbox and was wondering if you've encountered anything worth knowing about the cube street mk 2. I'm trying not to blow my judget and whilst the EX looks attractive, I'm not sure it's worth it. Has mic you've used had any significant impact? I've been using an SM58 for a while but I see a lot of people using a sort of more square shaped mic rather than the round sm58.
Hi Mr Gearfacts, nice video thank you. I already have the small Roland Cube and running on batts there is no audible background hiss/hum/interference - great! Am about to upgrade - so would you say the same about the EX ie quiet background power/hiss noise etc. My hunch is that it is similarly a 'quiet' and smooth operator like it's younger brother 🤔 Thanks 😊
Yep you are correct - they have similar noise levels. My environment is very bad for noise, so in this video you are seeing all the amps at their worst! Glad you found it helpful though :)
Hey mate you do one on the Lectrosonics Mouse or Maxi Mouse yet? Those are the real original busker amps. Roland probably improved on them but Lectrosonics was way before them.
I would send you one but you are pretty far away, aren't you. At any rate, I noticed Hainbach was reviewing a cheap keyboard the other day, it reminded me of you. @@gearfacts
I didn’t have much luck with the PV myself, but in my experience the performance of an amp depends massively on which guitar is plugged into it, and my guitar seems to displease a lot of amps! I found the same thing with pedals
3:25 "Sir I would like to sit in the cube" I love them, so fluffy and precious

Not yet!, but if I ever find one… :)

@@afreezaphorogiancossack2194 Thoughtful! And appreciated :)
No battery power for me. I personally use a Peavey Vypyr 1x12, 40 watt amp, cause I like it and can use a headphone.
